Miro - all your thoughts visualized

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part for me about Miro is that it allows you to put all your thoughts and plans in a single space and organise them in whatever way you desire. This makes for a great mind mapping experience, but also great for to-do lists, because it allows for reorganization. For a results driver person like me it is great, because it allows me to track my process and brainstorm on the go for my next steps. Use between different devices is quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up until this point I have not found functionalities that I can say that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to put my thoughts in one space and organise them in whatever way I need, which reduces the stress I have for thinking too much about currently irrelevant tasks.

Miro is essential to my remote working life

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro speeds up the work I do because it removes barriers to remote collaboration (especially with single sign-on) which means participants are more likely to contribute and engage in virtual workshops. Everyone I invite to Miro quickly understands how to use it with minimal guidance, and every session results in a ton of post-its with useful feedback.

It fits into our workflow and other tools easily, so I use it a lot. The presentation mode has pretty much replaced Powerpoint for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to dig through the templates to find ones that are useful for me, but it's not a big problem. I treat templates as an added bonus rather than a key part of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it much easier for me to uncover and document internal feedback and insights to advance our product design process

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of! But it would be great to have more free templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Defining the scope of a project

Thoughts about Miro

What do you like best about the product?
Mire is a great tool for me, it's convenient for building game design schemes for my development, assemble references for game art production and sharing ideas between the development team and so on. I work in Miro pretty often, so I like how it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure, I think this is a great tool to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining workflows, tracking progress, and managing tasks efficiently. Enhancing team collaboration with a visual platform that allows for real-time brainstorming and idea sharing.
Organizing thoughts and concepts visually.

Unmatched Collaboration and Organization Tool!

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro excels as an intuitive, versatile whiteboarding tool that fosters collaboration among teams regardless of their physical locations.

Its strengths lie in its real-time synchronization capabilities, allowing multiple users to brainstorm, diagram, and plan projects seamlessly.

The platform's vast array of templates and integrative features with other productivity tools enhance its usability and functionality, making it indispensable for remote and hybrid work environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro offers a plethora of features, its expansive toolset can be overwhelming for new users, who might find the learning curve slightly steep. Additionally, the performance can sometimes lag when boards become very dense with content, which can hinder smooth operation during critical team sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to manually translate post its/ whiteboards anymore :)

Miro the best app for collaborative work

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
An interactive whiteboard with many features. In particular, talk tracks for recording videos and also the insertion of entire books, e.g., for organizing literature work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Talktracks can ONLY be played on desktop. It is not possible for tablets :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro, I can conduct my work at the university as a tutor online with students. Simultaneous work on tasks and real-time synchronizations form the foundation here.

Great tool for remote collaboration across teams whilst remote

  • June 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been great within our Product & Engineering teams to collaborate on the majority of steps in the conceptualisation and design stages of our product lifecycle. It enables us to build details boards with research, user flows, user story mapping etc up to estimation with the developers - where all team members can view and collaborate as part of our remote teams. I use miro daily, and often have many boards on the go at a time!
The templates are great and the integrations with other applications makes transitioning very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike about miro, I think it's a great tool.
My biggest issue (which is not really big at all) is that I have difficulty using the board on a smaller screen of my laptop or when using the laptop track pad - I prefer a wider screen and mouse when using miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps with team collaboration and simplifying often complex concepts and user flows.

The savior for specific communication

  • June 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the commenting and tagging tool. Really being able to comment anywhere on the image, especially to give indications about something specific without having to indicate where it is, is splendid. And I like that if you left a message halfway through, it saves it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now, the tables. Although they are useful and the use is understood, handling them is complicated for me. So I avoid them. And also, I would like to have stickers about the creative processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective communication is essential for the creative process, as it enables the timely and effective resolution of problems. A comprehensive view of the project allows for the identification of potential issues and ensures that the team is on the right track.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can use it to take notes on everything and help me understand better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be more tools and overall my experience is still very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me make mind maps, can edit projects remotely with others at the same time, and see other people's editing paths without time difference.

Miro is good for system design and process design.

  • June 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The zoom in / zoom out feature, which facilitates creating processes inside processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Item selection can be flaky.

Also, I would like to be able to create groups (grouping items together) and templating the groups (so we can make copies). Just like with Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding a product/software/ML model. Demoing a product/software/ML model.
