Miro Review
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is free off hand but if you'd like a subscription, it's very affordable! It's sleek interface allows me and my staff to work together on our literary magazine, exchanging notes and editing pieces.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to dislike anything about Miro, I'd be hard pressed. I really don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a problem with laying out ideas for others. I have a clear vision but it's hard for me to express that with others. Miro's "whiteboard" like interface helps me with that.
Miro My Uni companion

A fantastic virtual whiteboarding tool that's always improving
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried virtually every whiteboarding tool to come on the market over the years and Miro is by far my favorite. I use it for a lot more than just pushing around sticky notes, it's actually become my go-to design tool for visual maps like journey maps and the like. I'm building a coaching program in Miro, and have also used it as my slide deck for presentations.
Miro always works smoothly -- for anyone who uses web-based tools on the regular that's not at all a given. It's also easy to bring in additional participants without a steep learning curve. They're always adding new features or improving old ones, and it's nice to have integrations with other tools that I use on the regular.
At this point Miro has gradually been taking over what used to a much broader toolset, and in a great way -- I'm a very happy paying customer so far, so thanks for a great product.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a big digital doodler so I use the pen tool on my tablet a good amount. It would be lovely if that could utilize pressure sensitivity. I'm probably an outlier there though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
COVID made all of my work go virtual. That meant that all of my face-to-face whiteboarding sessions couldn't happen. I was a Miro user before COVID, but I sure was glad I had the ability to go fully virtual there. It's also becoming more and more of a design tool for me, and I'm able to make professional quality maps and the like from scratch.
Perfect tool for in and outside the classroom
What do you like best about the product?
Real time collaboration with multiple users is a great benefit, especially when it's simple and easily accessed through a browser without requiring native app. It makes sharing ideas and resources seamless whether we are working in person or remotely through video/asynchronously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools take time to get used to, or to get exposed to when first joining and trying it out. It would be nice to have a guided interactive tutorial that takes the user through the basic tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since starting to teach a university course just recently, I've been utilizing Miro for every single class. Incorporating Miro into my teaching practice has benefited both my approach and my students' learning experiences. It allows me to seamlessly integrate all relevant course resources by linking any web pages and articles directly, fostering an organized and interactive class environment. Most importantly, it enables my students to actively participate, collaborate, and share their thoughts and work in real time.
