The best free virtual board application
What do you like best about the product?
The customization of the board is quite advanced. You can do everything you would do with a physical board.
Everything is editable in real time with other users.
The app is very user-friendly. You can start to use it without any indications.
Navigation inside a giant board is relatively easy thanks to the map and the fact you can follow other user's cursors.
The app is web-based so that you can use it from any device.
It depends on the usage you want, but the free version might be enough for your company. We use it mostly to share our scrum board, and so one board is enough.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see a downside. You can remove the things you don't like or don't use them.
I don't like to see the collaborators' cursors, especially when we are more than ten currently using the board, but you can hide them.
The locking system can be frustrating if someone selects a card and you can't edit it or move it, you have to ask that user to unlock it himself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the corona crisis, we needed an online tool to be able to do our scrum board still. In the end, it means less paper and easy accessibility.
Now we also use it in meetings for brainstorming and surveys.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is free as long as you use only three boards. You can use it for your daily scrum, but if you want more, you'll have to pay.
easy and intuitive tool
What do you like best about the product?
the variety of self-guided templates of different methodologies
What do you dislike about the product?
more webinaire and tutorial tool would help in discovering new features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
develop several works related to product management frameworks
Excellent solo and collaborative virtual white boarding and workshopping space
What do you like best about the product?
It's clearly laid out in terms of tools and workspace, intuitive, powerful, chock full of useful templates, and it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. This is a really well designed platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming and strategizing alone or with my colleagues. Running strategy and problem-solving workshops with clients. Diagramming processes. Utilizing standard frameworks, such as the Business Model Canvas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can't think of a better whiteboarding platform for individual work, collaboration and workshopping.
Miro is great for getting things out of your head and in front of your eyes.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the free format of Miro, and how intuitive it is, Miro just gets out of your way and lets you work. I can be as chaotic or as organized with my ideas as I need.
However, when you need to organize and collaborate your ideas better Miro has tons of templates to choose from that you can also be changed on the fly to fit your needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how Miro askes me how much I like a template before I even have the opportunity to use it. I would also like to see the ability to control shapes and not be limited to the ones given to us. I would also like to create my own vector shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run problem-solving workshops remotely through Miro. I have helped startups visualized and optimize their workflows in real-time with Miro. The benefit of having a tool to help others visualize their problems and solutions quickly is a huge help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is great for getting and sharing all your ideas on the most unrestrictive platform ever.
Great tool for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time updates of where people are on the board. Plug ins to connect Jira and Trello so we don't duplicate writing content in multiple places.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be better at handling images. It's vital for me and my project to have screenshots of our designs on the board to annotate and create journeys and maps. If Miro could somehow compress the image going in to help with performance, that would be incredible. My board has over 300 screenshots on and it's vital for the entire team to work and access this. Many of my peers have older work equipment and slows their machines down considerably. More typography choices and sizing options would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the issue of collaborating in big teams while all working from home. Having a real time tool which is as lightweight as Miro makes participation more accessible.
Very useful tool for online collaboration and facilitation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the endless board the most, allowing my team and myself to span around complex projects. Miro helps us to visualize the steps of our endeavors, showing insight into different challenges and goals. The powerful visualization tools help me coordinate team efforts in my projects. I also really like tre "frames" option, when I lock them they provide a good structure to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have purchased a "team" subscription plan, as I facilitate a team of two startup owners, plus their advisors. This plan is limited as it asks me to purchase additional licenses for everybody who wants to do more than comment on the board. Additionally, I've just seen that they now sell "$10 per member/month billed monthly", while I was charged 15$ just two weeks ago per member in this plan.
Also, I am not a big fan of constant reminders that something is new and that I should try it out every now and then.
Also, Miro does have a certain learning curve that should be follwed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've solved problems regarding visualization and coordination of project steps in my ongoing projects. Miro is mostly beneficial for online work and remote work.
In these times it is hard to collaborate while staying at home, and Miro really helps my clients and myself to get to the goals fast and with substantial motivation.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It would help if you tried it out. It does make a difference.
Great collaboration tool! especially in current times
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is a real-time whiteboard tool that I can share with everyone on my team. We use Miro to map out plans for our projects, track progress, generate solutions and ideas with stakeholders, and visualize concepts. It is essential to me in my current role as a Product Manager, and I would recommend it to anyone that works with a remote team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integrations. I use JIRA for managing work with my team but would like to use one tool and have it reflect in the other. I would also like to see more templates that are maybe community-generated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. The tool allows me to communicate with a remote team about plans and ideate solutions with them. Stakeholders also use the tool to get updates from the product team as we use it for all our planning
It got everything I got for the workshops with my clients. I try to do sone Design Sprint excercise
What do you like best about the product?
Its SUPER EASY to understand in just 2 minutes. Super intuitive for my clients to start using it. That a really plus for me. Also, there is no need for login, in 2 clicks my clients can be using Miro and in 2 minutes they are already experts
I can draw in a beautiful way all my thoughts and ideas and share it with people in my company or with clients. Visually is awesome. The era of powerpoint is over for me

What do you dislike about the product?
Its not very personalized and informal. That what I like about figjam, the got some cool themes, stickers, ways to use a sticky notes. Thats a +1 in the delightfulness of the product. In conclusion, Figjam is fun to use and Miro is only super useful
Also i dont like the lack of "emojiness" of the platform. In workshops I need to maintain people entertain, so I need resources for that, if the platform is too serious, people might get bored.
Maybe an Product Tour Onboarding might be super useful for any guest that enter my boards. Right now I have to add an personal onboarding chart to make them use miro before the workshop but that can be automated by the platform itself.

Design problems Its super useful for documentig in a visual way results and findings. I facilitate workshops and, contrary to a physical workshop, a remote one in Miro got everything documented. Also, people are tire of looking at powerpoints slides, Miro is a great visual change for my audience in terms of presentation
For example: I been working projects like "how to increase the digital usage of a product" or "how can be improved the customer experiencia in gas station". And in my boarda I add dashboards, study results, customer Journey Maps and much more
Right now Im working in the design of a new app for the medical field. A real challenge, but using tools like miro my clients trust that I know what Im doing

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I always make them do a couple of simple excercise just to know the basic of the platform and get ready to go
Makes collaboration very easy
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been great for collaboration while working remotely and the closest thing to brainstorming on a whiteboard in real life. It updates in real time so you can use it across devices (I use iPad and my laptop) while working with others. There are lots of templates (and more added every day) that make the process of ideation and concept development very fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates for wireframing are quite limited, we usually sketch on another product (PS or procreate) and then import to miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proof of concepts
Great tool for collaborative meetings, workshops and also for any creative visualisation exercise
What do you like best about the product?
The landscape and ease of use of the features
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions could be slightly clearer
