Great product to stay organized.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool does not suit the ability to coordinate knowledge, communicate with members of the team and share ideas. The comfort and order my team got from this device is incredible. We have kept live brainstorming strategies since the current pandemic started. We carried out a remote workshop with StrengthsFinder. Miro has allowed us to develop and deliver engaging, high-impact programs in combination with Zoom and its meeting rooms. They are planned, prepared and implemented carefully; all of this worth making.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish a calling video feature was available. It'd be a nice extra. The mobile framework will be enhanced. However, there are things that I don't like. The participants will now be easier to locate themselves and to find them for the facilitator. Zoom integration would be awesome, because the video chat feature of Miro takes up so much room.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategic planning, webinars and the development of strategies for the business model. Remote team collaboration, visual research organization, graphical display of data and data and links, and collaborative contributions from team members very orderly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend its implementation because it is an innovative and very functional product, it is easy to use, it works whenever you need it.

Excellent online whiteboard tool..!

What do you like best about the product?
This provides an opportunity to make suggestions and brainstorms together among various individuals around the organisation. I appreciated the simplicity with which ideas were expressed and input provided without delay in real time. We could integrate as many people as we wanted and set up multi-project boards. This dashboard in real time lets us stay connected and I like that in graphic form. I like that, too, that you can tag people with certain action items on your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I started to use it, it was a little frustrating. I wanted to make it a little easier, more intuitive and a little less design-centered, but also just in regular marketing centered on people. When you first start registering, it can be a little crazy, but you're finally getting used to it. I 'm glad you can still use the free plan with Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A whiteboard tool that could be used in many departments was required. It worked well and many people said how much it helped them to work together. Stay linked and innovate as we build on the basis of the COVID-19 crisis in our meetings. We don't normally work from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nice product, would recommend certainly. Especially if you have many remote teams and work a lot remotely.

Great online collaboration tool.

What do you like best about the product?
You can do this with virtually all the meetings with a white board. Using coordination with sticky preparation notes. Often you need to brainstorm or work with a whiteboard or sticker to stuff that you like, and Miro lets me do it effectively and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For project or follow-up projects, I haven't found it useful. If things are not properly observed, conversations can get lost in comments. The boards can be somewhat rough to export; if you have a lot of adhesive notes / card on the board, it becomes too small to read when exporting to PDF. However, the paid edition states that this has been corrected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's a place to do what you would want to do on a whiteboard, sticky notes or paper, but a way to think and work this way and share it easily while working remotely. It allows us to work together, to prepare and take notes from the virtual whiteboard. This device helps me to connect quickly with internet access to my students and colleagues from anywhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this product because it is easy to implement and to use. You can also access from anywhere, perfect for working remotely.

Whiteboarding for teams

  • June 29, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and super easy to use. No training required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's web-based, sometimes you have to refresh your browser to reconnect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows multiple team members to collaborate on various projects remotely. Share tips and ideas just as you would in a room together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start with simple boards to share with teams and have members add to them and build their own so they get to know the tools.

Solid, flexible and powerful tool

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a central piece in my UX Design workflow for more than 6 months and it proved an invaluable tool. It centralises every file that i make, helping me see all that i did at a glance. If i need to suddenly make an improvised presentation of the state of my work i can do it quickly and efficiently without losing time opening diverse files. The infinite canvas with the powerful zoom levels gives me the freedom to organise the information how i want. The numerous templates give me ideas and structure to my research. Be it in the browser, in the mac app or on the smartphone, i can always check my projects and work on them when needed. Things that i did on paper or excel or other programs now i do it here (mindmapping ? yes. user journey ? of course.). Finally, the fact that inviting others to collab is very easy has pushed me to involve my clients or colleagues even earlier in the research process, with better results overall.
I use it also in non-professional ways, for my drawings (has replaced pinterest as a design ressource) or pen & paper role playing games (all those inspiring pics, bits of trivia, rules, video, sounds... all that goes in Miro). Miro truly is, in my eyes a key tool, flexible, well designed and truly powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It truly is hard to find things to dislike at the moment. I don't want to sound like a fanboy that does not think, but for now Miro answers fully to all my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better collaboration, organisation. My projects are more structured and i can show my work easily. The flexibility allows me to try more things, be more transparent. See also above for more benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it if you are collaborating heavily with others, product a lot of files or need to see your project visually at a glance.
