  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the functions and the accessibility of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit of three board for the free version, and the limit functions. (the clock would be very useful, but I understand the point)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is the perfect tool to conduct a workshop and to co-create with internal or external stakeholders in this period of remote working

Helpful Tool for group projects

  • February 09, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the capacity of Information you can keep on the board. The board gives a good overview and makes group projects easy. The sticky notes and the frames are beneficial too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The textboxes only allow limited text. Sometimes one needs to write more than bullet points, and it would be great if the textbox could hold an entire A4 page worth of text. For non-payers, the boards are limited, even when you use Miro for a school context. We, students, can't afford Products like Miro, but we have been using them quite often. It's impossible to use past boards, as the active boards are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My master class uses Miro for group work and presentations. In particular for mind mapping and gathering information on a collaborative whiteboard. Maybe the Miro team could also focus online making MIRO available to students. If this is sucessful we can continue using MIRO for business later.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is easy to use parallel to Zoom, making online group work very easy. The templates are an excellent way to organize information when you don't yet have an order.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how diverse and easy it is to create wireframes, diagrams, and presentations. Also being able to choose from templates is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I share a board with someone, it automatically shares my other boards (free mode-student). Not being able to upload my own typography
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design challenges. I have found Miro a great tool for brainstorming and bringing many ideas to the table while also being a space that can save and store your information.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is user-friendly and easy to use in meetings at my job. I strongly recommend it to everyone. It is the best whiteboard app that I have seen. It also helps to keep the meeting interactive and fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, Miro is hard to use. But once you figure it out, it is an excellent program. Button labeling is a little bit hard to figure out and navigate, but just initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro in meetings at my job, and it is handy and easy to use to structure an interactive meeting and keeps the people involved focused on the main objectives. I strongly recommend it to everyone
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In the beginning, Miro is hard to use. But once you figure it out, it is addictive.

With some small tweaks it would be 10/10

What do you like best about the product?
I find the templates quite helpful as they are grouped by functionality. Often, I could discover templates with structures that inspire new ideas.

Also, I like how I can select an area for preview. Visuals can help me quickly locate the ones I am searching for and remind me of the contents without needing to open each one,
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools are not as intuitive as they could be. Take voting, for example. I have been trying to figure out how to use this function for a couple of UXR projects. The frustrating part is that I keep running into situations where I am not sure if it is not working because I am misusing it or it simply does not have the feature needed. It could be helpful to have demo videos/articles to help users learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly, I use Miro for 1) organizing ideas and information for learning purposes or 2) sharing and collaborating with others. An image can indeed speak for a thousand words. With Miro, I find it is easier for me to pick up new concepts and communicate ideas/thoughts with others.

One of my faves!

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. I've always loved to collaborate on a whiteboard with my team, but since COVID, this hasn't been possible. I'd say that Miro is the next best thing, but honestly, it's even better. With all of the templates and other collaborative functionality, it's opened up so many new possibilities for the team. We use it for collaboration between Engineering and Product, sharing thoughts with customers, and many, many other things. For my personal work, I love to do a brain dump and then organize my thoughts. It is absolutely one of my favorite tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to think hard about this, and my response isn't a "dislike"; it's more of a challenge. Because there is so much functionality available, it can take a while to become competent with the product. That's OK when you've been using it for a while (even though I feel like I'm still only scratching the surface.) It becomes challenging when you invite others to collaborate and they are new to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a remote-first workplace, collaboration has suffered due to the distance between team members. Miro has provided a tool for our teams to continue collaborating effectively, even though we are geographically dispersed. Our Engineering team introduced me to Miro during a brainstorming session and I was completely blown away by how effective it was. I've been a believer ever since.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a real use case in mind when learning the product. It will help tremendously. (rather than just casually reviewing different areas of functionality)

Ease of use, great visibility of content
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Miro takes quite long to load even though the internet connection is good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualize complex topics or create decision trees
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you look for a easy-to-use visualization tool Miro is a great solution

Excellent Visual and Organizational Tool

  • February 05, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a visual learner, I enjoy seeing an abbreviated task list. It also allows me to drag and orient tasks based on priority and so on without having to make major changes. I also have a basic schedule on there and some other stuff. I like showing what I have organized in meetings as I can move subject to subject while staying on the board rather than moving from document to document.
What do you dislike about the product?
Product-wise, I do not have the premium account anymore due to not working at my co-op anymore. Premium has a lot of great features, but I am unable to make multiple boards with my current account. I do not need numerous boards as of now. Long story short, I dislike having fewer features but do not find them as a problem as I am working on a smaller scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving my problems that deal with organization, priority, and overall keeping track of tasks. Organization is key to success, and using a visual tool has helped me achieve this goal. Miro also allows me to customize and change my task list as I please.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient. Transitioning your information and/or team to Miro is a challenge. Teamwork on Miro is excellent once your board becomes established.
