Very intuitive tool for visualizing, sharing and building ideas.

  • December 20, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Endless possibilities: Its design allows to cover multiple types of activities, either individual or team activities. Also, great templates, search function, and very intuitive collaboration thanks to several features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interaction with some of the tools feels a bit clunky still. For example, working with tables. Also, the dashboard could be easier to use, especially when there are multiple boards, projects, and teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for project planning, sharing ideas with colleagues, analyzing UX findings, team workshops. Its long list of functionalities makes Miro as good as (or even better) than having a physical canvas.

Miro: effective tool, but a lot of room to grow

  • December 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative nature of Miro the best. Being able to see where my team members are focused is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection does not stay stable, and it can be difficult to follow changes. Also, a there is no centralized area that I see that shows all the comments on a board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving to Miro from Visio to allow a more collaborative design experience with the team and our stakeholders. It serves as the focal point for meetings and helps facilitate discussion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand its limitations as a primarily web tool. There is a desktop application, but it does not offer more than the web tool.

Collaborate Virtually

  • December 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can essentially whiteboard, collaborate with multiple team members, build within a single environment, and have the ability to help "visual learners" work together in a virtual/remote world.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems a little pricey to collaborate with large teams, and some of the features are available within MS Teams. There is also a learning curve because switching between moving and highlighting gets a bit chaotic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with others in a team environment. Having a working document that others can come in and collaborate with on their own time before a meeting. You're able to create the board and share the work in progress with leaders who are trying to understand the logic of how you got to the decision. You're able to help visual learners like me see what you mean.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate who needs access and how to collaborate with your entire team. Also, make sure you take advantage of Miro's training. They have a great pre-recorded series.

Miro Project Planning - How can we compare Miro to other Project Planning software's in the market

  • December 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Miro Software, and some of the main benefits are creating User Journeys, real-time interactions, creating templates and graphs quickly; Easy to move objects to organize; Easy to import outside media, and Versatile content formats, among others!

Also Miro can be used as an Idea Management Software that is great and hence its a multi-faceted software in this regard
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the points about Miro that I dislike are: not having the ability to divide a large board into zones, rather than make multiple zones ; more connections to other tools like Jira; photo editor tools can be better incorporated and offline focus can also be got ; overall if there can be integration with Teams or Slack that would be great too
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Miro as a Project Management ; Collaboration and Idea Management tool - we have been able to get diversified teams together and brainstorm on project plans and Ideas
This is led to great team collaboration especially in the WFF environment

why making users angry to force them to pay?

  • December 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
collaboration is the best feature... even though it is kind slow on big boards
What do you dislike about the product?
forcibly log out users after so little time... everyone I know hates this, it makes our first use of miro an angry one... really don't think it's a great idea to make me pay by getting me angry every morning and afternoon. we are slowly transitioning to decentralized solutions, just because we are not loving miro the most, these days...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
long-distance meetings are the #1 problem miro helps us overcome. better than any real alternative. I'm thinking how to use miro when we get back to face-to-face meetings

The Perfect Collaborative Platform

  • December 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform allows collaboration in real-time with other team members. I find the use of the post-it notes very easy and intuitive. The tools and the interface make the experience pleasant, even for those using the program for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some exciting functions are only available to those with the premium version and are not accessible to everyone. Some tools are not precise (and the icons representing them do not help recognize them) and are little used. In addition, it is not possible to write on the same text box simultaneously, and many times frames are moved unintentionally if they are not locked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform has made remote meetings and teamwork more effective, faster, and more enjoyable, facilitating information display through a simple and intuitive layout. The ease of use has made me and my team prefer this platform over others: where we used to use a text file, we now use Miro. It also helped us to represent ideas better and analyze problems (perhaps almost better than being physically present, sticking colored post-it notes on the walls).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I consider it the best online collaboration platform: easy to use and intuitive in all its functionalities.

Miro gets the job done.

  • December 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Miro is:

1. The shear number of templates available (Miro and Miroverse).
2. How collaboration is heightened when using Miro as colleagues are able to understand project information.
3. I have the freedom to layout boards however I want (i.e. best way to communicate to my colleagues).
4. Using Miro, allows for a single source of truth and hub of information in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. While I like the voting feature, I'd rather the vote stays present on the board and not disappear or have to click on the voting icon to see the voted order. This is because, it is powerful to see the votes and then discuss in a workshop. This is why my team went back to dot voting instead of the automatic voting.
2. Spotify to be added onto the music timer countdown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. How to map out an opportunity (i.e. for a new user interface, we used the product vision canvas on Miroverse).
2. During user interviews and testing sessions, Miro is used to capture notes and conduct analysis afterwards.
3. I can screenshot different levels of low-fi and hi-fi wireframes (balsamiq and figma), in a side by side view. This makes it easier instead of presenting in two different tools.
4. Team health workshops are conducted via Miro.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Much better than Mural :)

Miro for visual collaborative workspace

  • December 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool to promote collaboration in a virtual workspace. Our team primarily uses miro for brainwriting and collaborative spaces. Team members can all add their thoughts to the boards during sessions, and no idea goes overlooked when everyone can write it down, unlike on a large phone call when it is hard for everyone to speak on an idea without the topic changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take a while to learn and get used to and familiar with. Not all typical keyboard shortcuts seem to transfer over and dragging the page or elements around by accident will frequently happen as one gets started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is very visual, and with the hard pivot to remote work last year, Miro helped out team keep normal activities in our daily work even when we could not brainstorm together as usual. Miro has also been very impactful in pivoting in-person training that needed to make the jump to becaome remote training. It allows a collaborative workspace where we can split the group up to brainstorm individually, set a timer, and then come back as a larger group to discuss topics, problems, and solutions on a larger scale.

InVision helps me to share and collaborate with designers and project manager

  • December 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration with project manager and share the designs and mockups with the client. The freehand tools are awesome to use. The comment functionality is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to import the artboards. It just won't sync with a sketch app., Sometimes it is difficult to import the artboards. Customer Support for InVision is slow and unresponsive for complex problems. And the pricing model is quite overwhelming when it comes to having a big network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication is the best thing that has solved the problems between the designer and project manager. It also allows developers to inspect a screen easily to get the specs like fonts, colors and provide code to the developer
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use, easy to add designed files, best collaboration tools, and build a mockup in minutes

Easy and fun to work with!

  • December 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is quite intuitive and self-explanatory application. It is easy to be used by a moderator and for an unexperienced audience. Miro offers a lot of templates which help you to capture informaiton in the best way. Easy to use, easy to share and trace back documented informaiton.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I absolutely dislike. Maybe a little challenge is to navigate on the bord when you have multiple frames.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing important information during brainstorming, planning, review, etc. sessions. Fascilitating discussions, idea generation, feedback and any sort of exchange. Making the process fun.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and you will be surprized how easy to use it and how fast you will appreciate Miro's cool features!
