Making workshops and planning sessions is now more structured and engaging

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I prefer Miro in making brainstorming and planning more involving to the entire team. The manner in which you are able to visualize the ideas and interlink them provides an ease of finding patterns and arranging thoughts. I usually combine it with Slack and project planning applications to keep the conversations going. This is particularly useful when we are in a workshop or a creative session, and we have to think of a variety of ideas within a short period and retain all of the people participating.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something I have realized is that boards can be visually cluttered in case too many people are posting simultaneously. It may be challenging to find certain notes or follow what ideas are being developed and this delays group exercises. This does not prevent any collaboration but sometimes it makes the discussions seem somewhat disorganized particularly when the planning session is larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro manages the issue of incoherent ideas and cloudy planning in the team projects. It creates a common visual board where all can make contributions thus making the discussions maintain order and nothing is left out. This has accelerated the process of brainstorming as well as made it more organized, has enabled teams to be more decisive and lessened the necessity of clarification after meetings.

Easy, Collaborative, and Template-Rich

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for CX journeys, UI mapping, and meetings with my team. I appreciate having one source of truth where everyone can put their comments and ideas in one place. I find Miro easy to use and great for collaboration. I like the ability to use existing templates, which helps us jump in straight away. The initial setup was super easy, which was a big plus for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think auto locking would be great as people moving stuff is always an issue. I think more templates around CX journey stuff would be great or having collab sessions would be great as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as one source of truth, allowing everyone to put comments and ideas in one place.

Streamlined Collaboration, Boards Can Get Messy

  • January 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro mostly for benchmarking and brainstorming. I appreciate the real-time and asynchronous collaboration, which helps me achieve faster alignment and reduces the need for follow-up meetings. The shared canvas where everyone, including all stakeholders, can think together in real time is particularly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that boards get messy very fast. Maybe adding pages inside the canvas could help with organizing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a shared canvas for real-time and asynchronous collaboration, enabling faster alignment and reducing follow-up meetings.

Perfect for Team Collaboration and Effortless Planning

  • January 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is ideal for creating plans and collaborating on ideas with my team. It allows me to clearly communicate my thoughts, outline how things will function, and engage with existing content seamlessly. The user experience is highly intuitive—most features operate as expected, and I found that I hardly needed any tutorials to start using all the basic functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is attempting to add AI features, but at this stage, they don't seem to provide any real benefit. Right now, it just feels like unnecessary bloat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many other software options don't offer this degree of versatility.

Boosts Collaboration, But Tables Need Improvement

  • January 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the ready-made templates very useful. They speed up the process, allowing me to look for what I need quickly, like something for a retrospective. The sticky notes are also useful because they allow multiple people to input their thoughts simultaneously, and we can then group these sticky notes. They give a nice unit of information that can be moved around easily. Collaborating with several people at the same time is very easy with Miro. The setup was also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tables are terrible. Absolutely appalling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to collaborate with several people at the same time and easily move, reuse, and use templates for road mapping, planning, and troubleshooting.

Fluency and Ease in Diagramming with Miro

  • January 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as my main diagramming tool. I like the ease of diagramming and creating shape maps, where it is very easy to move between different levels of detail, zoom in and zoom out, which makes the experience very smooth. Miro's templates are very helpful, especially for making entity-relationship diagrams, which I didn't expect so much, but have been very useful. Additionally, Miro allows you to go from a very specific idea to a more general one on the same map easily, which helps to highlight contents of that map and move in an agile and natural way. Also, the initial setup was really very simple, making it easy to use from the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps, the way is very good for moving through a set of ideas, but if you want to create storytelling, that is something more complicated in slide format, although it offers the functionality. Perhaps it is not as fluid, perhaps because we are more accustomed to generating PowerPoints and slides. Perhaps it wouldn't work to generate those slides directly in a document and not depend on Miro to generate that same experience, it would be convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to easily diagram any idea with its templates, which are a great help, especially for entity-relationship diagrams.
