We Couldn't Do Remote Creative Work Without Miro
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time and collective nature of the platform is critical. Being able to see people create something together is so important... especially for remote workers. One of our newest uses is for real-time process design. It's a game changer for process collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't hide and animate objects that I've created. If I could hide and sequence the reveal of content that would be a huge improvement. The new layers feature helps with this some... but not completely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us solve the issue of process design being ambiguous and unknown. It's allowing us to co-develop the process design experience so that its not just one BA who controls the process mapping process. This creates immediate buy-in for process clarity, which had previously been a boring and non-engaging task.
A great way to share ideas and get input from clients
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of working together with a variety of people. There are few barriers to entry so everyone can take part in collaborative sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it's hard for people external to your organisation to join a board as a guest. Especially if they already have an account that they haven't used for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work together real time in a tool that is accessible for non-designers.
Gets the job done well for our work brainstorming sessions
What do you like best about the product?
The realtime collaboration and intuitive UI
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear where i can see 'Last Updated'. Is there even a way?
it should just be easily observable. It's good to know at a glance when the Miro Board was last updated (like done for Google Doc).
Also being able to view the history of changes would be helpful

Miro helps me organize my thoughts and get work done
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and collaborate with my collegues. I can quickly diagram my ideas for technical designs and share them easily with the team. I also like the retrospective templates that give me options for fun team retros.
What do you dislike about the product?
The zoom in and out. It is great that it is flexible but sometimes you can get lost in the board. Sometimes items have different sizes making it even more confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How do we quickly share technical information within the team? Sometimes we are discussing architectural concepts and someone will shout, "lets miro it". That saves us time and helps us get to a conclusion quicker. I also try to use it to organize my personal thoughts around work. Still work in progress.
Long time user, enjoys Miro for it's additional features.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has features that other whiteboarding tools don't have, in particular, the use of "tags" is extremely useful for me as I conduct user research and am workign with complex datasets of qualitative data from many multiple stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the interactions in Miro, coming from other design tools, the interactions feel just different enough to be annoying as I navigate the tool. A good example of this is, I have ultimate control over text and object colors, meaning when I am working on something fast (as I often am) I might accidentally run into a combination of those colors that is completely unreadable! Other tools don't even allow this flexibility, and I actually prefer it that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of times I use this tool for synthesis of data, which in the past, I was using a literal whiteboard with sticky notes to conduct this type of synthesis. Along with cost and time savings, Miro also allows a much better experience in terms of saving progress, versions, searching data, organizing data and tagging data.
Very versatile wallboard tool
What do you like best about the product?
I believe the amount of different options to choose from, which are organized neatly to not be overwhealming is what i like about Miro. From technical diagramming, docs, and plain post its, its a very complete tool. Also it has some cool integrations that could be improved but are very nice to have

What do you dislike about the product?
Not user friendly to those who aren't tech savvy. Features and buttons need to be learned, not for beginners use.

Visually seeing milestones and timelines, movable sticky notes for organization in ideas and thoughts.
Easy to use, and an extremely valuable team tool

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the hardest part is that our students use basic Chromebooks while Miro is more dynamic and interactive that sometimes it is difficulut to work with the Chromebook interface.
