Easy, more intuitive way to get organized
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Miro is the visual aspect and the ability to create and easily understand steps all laid out on one board. Miro works like my brain works, instead of forcing my brain to work in a way that is not natural or intuitive. The templates are also excellent! Miro provides creative templates that are super helpful that I wouldn't have come up with by myself but definitely make the work flow way better.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to drink the kool aide. Team members who don't 'have time' or 'want to' learn a new software program cannot collaborate and add value. Although my work is much better, easier and more fun for me, I still have to make old school lists if I want to work with others who don't use Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying more organized. Plus I can more easily see and anticipate obstacles before they happen with a Miro board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the extra time you need in the beginning to learn the program. It'll save so much time later on!
Excellent tool for cross-functional collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that miro is the ultimate app for collaborating with multiple teams. The days of individually editing separate documents and sending them to colleagues are over. Everyone can work simultaneously and contribute to production in realtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to delete boards. For example, even the admins can't delete empty "My First" boards or boards that are no longer needed. They must be deleted by the person that created the board and if that person is no longer with the company nothing can be done about it. In the end, it creates a lot of unnecessary clutter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our collaboration as a team, as well as our collaboration in multiple departments has increased exponentially and meetings have become more productive and inclusive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work within a team based environment, get Miro. Once you do, you might find yourself reminiscing about the before times and wonder how you made it this far without it.
We'll want to continue using Miro even when we're back in the office.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a fantastic way to create mood boards, have discussions, workshops, problem-solving, etc. Honestly, it's been such an amazing tool during the pandemic and working from home. So much that we've already discussed, we'll probably continue using Miro when we're back in the office (although that itself might be a little bit of a challenge since we're not sure if we'll just have to huddle around one person's monitor.) The best part of this is that you can create, edit, delete parts as you go without worrying about running out of post-it notes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there are any significant downsides to Miro. It's a very polished tool - we haven't run into any bugs nor downtimes. It's always been up and running. I've submitted a few minor improvements, such as the ability to assign more than 1 person to the 'task' card feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Miro both as workshops to kick off projects but also as discussions for the overall team structure and working process. I think it has helped us improve ourselves in those areas. It's a lot easier to pick a project back up without having to look through scribbled notes.
Hands down my favourite tool for thinking and collaborating as a PM
What do you like best about the product?
An extremely intuitive tool that suits .
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing currently to note as it is good.

Miro is my daily thinking and collaboration tool. Being so intuitive, I can shape my ideas precisely as I want to in the smoothest way possible. Visually doing it just makes it so much clearer in my head and for everyone, I collaborate with. It's honestly better at visually representing my ideas than if I had a pen and paper. There is no friction in how I use Miro for my needs, and the general aesthetics of Miro is very pleasing as well.
In terms of collaboration, I am so impressed by how easy it is to have a large audience (say more than 10 users) work together on a Miro board, which makes workshops so much easier to host, in fact, probably better than had we done a workshop in-person.
I've used their integration as well, especially the Slack and Notion integration which are also regular tools I use
In addition, I regularly see feature updates by Miro quite often, another point that shows the team do not rest on their laurels and always try to make it better, even though I have absolutely no complaints about it.
Miro as a product and a company should definitely be a leader in the software industry because it is just that good. They truly cover the macro and micro details in how they build the product.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to think more clearly and work with others, regardless of your position, do consider using Miro above all other tools. It's better than actually drawing on paper to visualise ideas and it is better than using Word doc to gather requirements
Miro has saved our product team in the last year!
What do you like best about the product?
I was using Miro prior to this crazy pandemic but in the last year it has provided an incredible amount of value to our ways of working. How do we onboard new employees? How do you host engaging workshops without the tactile use of post-its and whiteboards(and biscuits!)? How do you keep a team aligned and maintain a single source of truth throughout projects? How do you socialise?! These are all problems that were effortlessly solved through Miros guidance and community, enabling the team and myself to create a shared spaces within seconds. Templates have been a lifesaver and provided a great starting point for almost anything you can think of and I no longer see Miro as a 'virtual whiteboard' but more of the ultimate collaboration tool. No more digitising what you once had to photograph and transcribe all over again. No more covering whiteboards with an exclaimed note to the cleaner: 'PLEASE DON'T RUB OUT!'. No more running out of space or picking up dried-out markers before the hunt begins to find anything other than a pink sharpie. Miro is quick, it's easy and it's here to stay.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I've really loved is the community on Miro. I would love to see more visibility of what others in the industry are doing. Talks. Videos. More content to drool over as soon as I open up Miro. How can I be even better at what I'm doing? What's hot right now? What methods are other companies doing to get the most from their employees and counterparts - this is where the value is for me.

Versatile tool for many needs
What do you like best about the product?
Here is what we were running into, teams were in a silo. I am sure you have seen this in your org. We needed a basic tool to help our teams plan but also cross-collaborate. We have easily been able to implement Miro. Working with their teams was easy, and we are training our teams now. Easy to train and easy to learn. I enjoyed the provided training and some of the humor. It covered the basics and was just enough information that we weren't taking up too much time. Teams keep asking for live training from me, but the included training is highly recommended.
Easy to learn and lots of applications. I use this mainly for whiteboarding or training. We needed a tool that could help visualize our training and documentation needs. The ideation, voting, and collaboration functionality is fantastic. I enjoy the timer, voting, and sticky notes.

What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, there is no dislikes at this time. I am a non-admin, so I don't have access to see that side of the setup and admin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration between teams. Miro has helped us improve our planning sessions and assigning tasks. We have also used Miro for our yearly and quarterly planning; this has been helpful to show our thoughts, plans, ad intentions to other teams.
We have been very pleased using it for creative collaborative work since we started working at home
What do you like best about the product?
i like that many people can be working at the same time, it helps in creative reunions in presential and virtual mode. This is an intuitive platform so its easy to invite to work people who has not used it before. Also i like he colors and editing posibilities in the platform, the minimal design and the typografies. Finally the possibility of mannaging bords in workteams
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have more options and designs in the same diagram. fot example when i make a mind map by hand i like to include pictures as titles an change the settings of the subtopics to higlight strategic points but eith the mind map template of miro that is not possible or at least i don´t know how can i do it. Also its not possible to work offline and sometimes it is neccesary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly in ideation of projects, hen i am tryinf to find out what is going to be the spots to work in a project i need to define the context, i do that with a brainstorming with the team members, since the pandemic started las year and th work at home strategies begin at my office miro became a necessary tool in the daily work
Recommendations to others considering the product:
you should try different templates to find the one that works better with your needs
Miro's template library is fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive to use and has a great template library to choose how to display the information to make collaborating online more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Miro could develop a way to embed videos into the workspace, that would improve communication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for brainstorming, storyboarding, flow charting, and general sharing of ideas with and from remote employees. The benefit to Miro is the ease of collaboration across the country.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it, they have a free option to use to find your way around, and you will quickly see that there are features that make buying it worthwhile.
Switching from Onsite Workshops only to Remote Workshops only
What do you like best about the product?
Since we started working with miro about 2-3 years ago, we tried to switch our onsite workshops to remote workshops. Basically, to reduce travel costs, make it easier to find a fit in busy calendars and more accessible documentation. The pandemic situation that came up early last year forced us to handle the workshops remote only, and our experiences as well as the new features that miro released made this so so easy. For us facilitators as well as for our clients and partners. By now we can not think about going back with all the benefits that this platform has given us. I love the easy handling and onboarding for "newbies".
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some trouble choosing and setting up a proper account for our organization, partners and clients. Especially with legal and privacy focussed restrictions, we have over here in Germany in corporate contexts. This got better over time and will hopefully improve more and more, so we can set up workshops, accounts, etc. much quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
miro as a Tool helps us on every ideation process and discovery phase, as well as nowadays prototyping solutions and products. In addition it became the common ground and single point of truth for communication in a lot of projects between us as UI designers and UX consultanst and the partners and / or clients. Regarding the workshops, having those fully remote cut a lot of costs on all sides and reduced travel time to nearly zero.
The perfect tool for remote workers that think visually :)
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the most constantly used software that we have since the pandemic hit our country. It's key to our working remotely from home.
We are really happy adopting this software as part of our work system, even after the pandemic is over.
I personally admire its core features: friendly viewing Canvas, Custom template, screen sharing, Mindmap and Video conferencing.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some bugs with the screen sharing, like it won't load my audio file and failed to play it... but it works correctly with the video file. I'm sure it's something that will be soon fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online meeting and project discussion in online settings is the strongest feature that Miro is offering to orur team. I'd say screen sharing is the most important and critical feature that me and my team need when we are doing an online meeting for our project discussion, as it will help us to visually showing the computer screen for others to see the point that I'm presenting. And at this, it's really a great tool.
