My experience with Miro has been solid since I started using it in 2021.
What do you like best about the product?
Overalll I like its ease of use. I use on a personal and team basis. Most of my personal use is for capturing my thoughts on a topic and building models. For teams, I use it to facilitate meetings and workshops. For some teams, I use it for tracking projects or scrum sprints. In some cases, I will use Miro rather than Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any strong dislikes at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a collaborative environment for a team of remote workers.
Awesome tool for collaboration, with a few downsides
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration in the tool is awesome, so most of the steps in a sprint can be mapped using Miro.
You can create custom templates and shapes, so it can adapt to multiple needs in a single tool.
Creating boards is easy and fast.
Any need you have can be set up in a couple of minutes tops, not delaying your meeting.
The interface is easy to use, although the zoom in and out might not be the most intuitive functionality, but it should also be easy to understand after a few minutes.
All the company uses it and have no difficulties using it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Organization is a bit difficult, with a single board having multiple diagrams. So, often you don't find what you need/want.
And even though you have the "Quadros" (Pictures in english?) option to group objects and create an order for the presentation, most people don't use it or don't even know about it.
In the end, you end up with tons of boards with tons of diagrams that you need a standard in your company to keep organized and help you find the information you need.
Also, for some stuff, like a BPMN diagram, it's easier to just use a specialized to for that, instead of the Miro templates available. Since it a generic tool, it does not fit perfectly for every situation.
Lastly, if you are brainstorming ideas to create tasks for your sprint or anything like that, it would need to be manually transcribed to another tool like Jira.
Doesn't seem to have an integration plugin to any other tool to speed up things like that.

Our most valuable tool
What do you like best about the product?
In a digital (and sometimes remote) world, Miro makes work both tangible and collaborative. Its ease of use and intuitive features make it a go-to for almost any situation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is so easy to use that it sometimes gets overused. We are finding ourselves needing to rememeber to organize and clean-up boards, much like we would any file system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting and organzing creative collaboration.
Great tool for putting fresh ideas into motion
What do you like best about the product?
With Miro, our remote team can easily collaborate on new ideas, working simultaneously on a flowchart board to organize thoughts using intuitive features that require almost no prior knowledge, making it simple to implement for new users. It’s also an excellent tool for transforming product from Excel sheets into visual representations. This approach enhances the commercial exploration of our assets by sparking greater creativity within the team and providing a clear visual overview of our product lineup for the entire company and external clients. We use Miro daily, and it is fully integrated into our operations. Here in the commercial team, we can’t evaluate customer support because we don’t use it. Miro meets our needs effectively and is easy to use, so we haven’t needed additional assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro's table feature is challenging to use when multiple team members are working on the same project. It requires careful editing and can only be effectively managed by one collaborator at a time. Additionally, since we use Miro daily and work with many images, the platform can sometimes become slow to load, consuming significant bandwidth and RAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we sell movies and our product library is extensive, Miro helps us visualize our offerings and target the right consumers. With Miro, we can upload movie posters and organize them within a timeline for commercial exploration. Additionally, Miro is a powerful tool for mapping our internal processes and business operations, making it easy to present to other team members.
Being creative and innovative while working together across sites
What do you like best about the product?
People who have never used Miro can integrate it into meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy work with little training or just a short introduction—going from zero to a hundred in a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many tools are added that every user finds new ways to work. Keeping up with AI features and integrations across platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across sites and departments is easy and much faster. We are all on "the same page" and can contribute, seeing our work grow in front of our own eyes.
Great board for organizing workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very helpful for constructing diagrams and organizing workspace, as it is easy to use and implement. It helps us improving team work, sharing ideas and projects, as well as constructing mind maps.
Its support is also helpful, which makes project creation even effortless. It is a day to day tool and easy to integrate.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro board has very helpful features and the program works very well. At the moment, I have noticed only positive aspects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro benefits team work and creates a shared workspace, where collaborators can help each other and communicate their ideas easily.
Miro is perfect for academic collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Miro is designed, so it's easy to understand and use to the fullest potential even without watching any tutorials. Multiple instruments help me colaborate with my colleagues on our university projects and it's easy even for non-users to open the board and edit it. I use Miro on everyday basis and I definitely see how it improved my performance in terms of collaboration and visual representation of ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to say, but some of Miro's features in terms of visual representation of ideas can be improved - mind maps can benefit from even more customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me collaborate with my colleagues on academic matters, and not only that - it helps to do it visually and easy-to-understand.
The best tool for brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's ease of use. There are so many resources for expressing your ideas, and the collaborative environment helps a lot when you gather your team for a brainstorming session. I don't use Miro frequently, I use it when someone shares something with me. But every time I use it, I feel amazed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not too clear how to access a file that another person shared with you. And I don't like the macOS app. I think it should explore better the resources of a desktop app, and the window title bar is ugly.gly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes is hard to organize your ideas and share with a team. Miro solves this problem with ease. We used when we're prioritizing some tasks and planning the next sprint. We used to organize the company teams. And we use for brainstorming.
Great platform for mind decluttering, collaborating, making user journeys & process flows.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of working on this platform is unmatched. You can simply unload the mind dump and the tools on the platform will help you organize the data with ease. What I really like is that they are constantly adding new features including AI-powered features. This is particularly helpful as you can get work done on a single platform without having to toggle between multiple tabs. The app is a tad bit better than the browser version.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are 2 areas where Miro can improve:
1. Clicking on a Miro link should ideally open the Miro board in the app (when it's open already!). Instead, the link redirects the user to the browser version and the user is required to login again. Not a great experience.
2. Miro has so many great features, including presentation mode. If they can add some animation and transition features, it will give a tough competition to MS Powerpoint.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reflecting the changes in real time is important for collaborative projects. The ease of editing and organizing the data makes it efficient to make changes in the customer journeys and mind maps. The different exporting options are useful for quick reviews with CFTs and maintaining archives of the version history.
Miroverse as a community is definitely adding to my experience as a user by exposing me to different creators and inspiring me to make the most out of the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Understanding your recent workshops and having more personalised suggestions or drafts to start with would be great
- Can be slow and crash at times
- Organising folders and searching for boards has got better but general file/folder organisation could be more intuitive
- Ability to have more detailed design and wireframing functionality would be useful, not recreating figma but more intuitive wireframing or IA generation would be good
