It is an excellent tool for sharing, working and creating projects related to concept and design.
What do you like best about the product?
It is excellent for communicating ideas instantly with teams. I really like the fact that you can feel like you're meeting in a physical place some sort of like a "studio or a workshop" where you can fill it with all kinds of information and ideas to mess around with. You can organize better and also make important decisions using Miro, something that is almost impossible during the pandemic. It has been a great tool to stay in touch with. I've also been able to present ideas not only to my team, which is actually an easier task since we all know each other, but also to clients whom would like to see their ideas take place in real life with us and they not only love it but have an easier time understanding. Also the tools for "chatting" and "commenting" are brilliant. You can have a long conversation about different topics just using those items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Primarily, I thing it's costly and I would like to afford the paid version for my studio. Maybe think about promotions or look into the customers profiles for creating attractive offers for them. Just a thought. Secondly, I'd prefer more tools for editing and designing ideas and images since I base my work on that. For example making black and white images, having a better control of the vectors of shapes and lines! Maybe even more shapes to play around with as well. I'd also like to intergrate other fonts to the system, fonts that me and my team use on a redular basis for presenting projects. And regarding text, it would also be nice to intergrate a spelling check to Miro. That would help a lot sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me solve the problem of having an off-site architecture and design studio and classroom. Since the pandemic, we have been obligated to stay at home and with this tool we can easily manage the studio in pijamas! I also lead an architecture workshop at the university and it has been a great support for sharing with the students. I've shared this tool with everyone I know.
The almost perfect remote and local workshop companion
What do you like best about the product?
I conduct many workshops a year, and the digitalisation of the created assets are painful. Since I using Miro I had the chance to save lots of times. The mobile companion app is an excellent local workshop companion. I can upload and digitalize the many sticky notes.
I also like their feedback and research driven development. Almost every month we got some new improvements and most of them are quite useful. E.g. the new timer is much better than the previous one.
The template system is easing the pain to set up quickly a workshop. There are plenty of them, and the selection is very diverse. For example, only in the design sprint section there are 3 or more related materials that is quite good comparing to other similar softwares.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's lagging a bit and huge boards are tend to loading slow a bit. Not a big deal, but sometimes it's a bit annoying. Also, I would appreciate a better wireframing toolset. It's far better than a year ago, but there is space for improvements. The current state of the wireframing toolbox is hard to use rapidly as it's hidden behind the toolbar.
Also, the managing of the users could be better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly the synchronous and asyncron communication and workshop digitalisation. Previously we had many scattered papers and sticky notes after a design sprint or a workshop. Now we have a nicely managed digital asset library of current and previous events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's needs a little time until new users are becoming familiar with the entire pack so consider to onboarding them.
Miro, excellent for building collaboratively!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easiness to use it. Second, I love the multiple tools to create, to communicate. Specially now, its very important to communicate the right way to get remote meetings and get the most of them. I love the templates, erally helps to have inspiration and steal smart ideas to communicate better with less!
What do you dislike about the product?
It woul be nice to have folders inside Projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of communication with Miro. With a frame with diagrams, flows, draws, images, its easier for me to communicate. It first helps me to question what I want to communicate (Miro helps me in my way to mature an idea) and then when it comes to share ideas, its better with visuals because everyones can understan the ideas (tech team, business team) . Miro is a great tool for multidisciplinary teams, specially working remotely.
Miro Has Made Collaboration Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is its online interface where the project team and clients, no matter where they are in the world, can all log into the same presentation board and be part of the collaboration. Having everything on the same screen makes the presentation flow easier. Moving around the board is definitely easier than having to open multiple PDF files and having to toggle between them. It just makes the interaction with clients more professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how everything appears low resolution and only gets to the higher resolution of the file by constantly zooming in and allowing the software to clear up and get a sharp image to the uploaded information. It disrupts the flow of the meeting everytime a zoom like this needs to occur. I've noticed zooming in beyond 150% is necessary, along with panning around all the different files that have been uploaded to get them to also clear up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned prior on what I like best, being isolated from my colleagues due to the pandemic, we all had to take on a remote approach to our design collaboration and get creative on how to present our projects to clients. Miro has solved the problem of distance and has allowed the whole team to be in the same space, making/marking up right on the screen in a live sense. The benefits of immediate feedback have simplified the process in my day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very intuitive to use, but do allow yourself time to properly plan out a layout for your board. I find setting up your Frames makes navigation around the board so much easier. These Frames reduce the fumbling around the page to find certain components very quickly.
Powerful, easy and fast growing
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is the first thing to underline. Templates are various and valuable in everyday work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video chat is interesting, but it's hard to use it when you don't focus on the Miro board. If you have to share other stuff outside the board like other programs, it becomes tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The research part had a significant boost since the collaboration features allowed us to work together simultaneously on the project. The ease of use also allows people with less experience in those kinds of applications to become operative in no time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've tried many other software and web applications, and I can say Miro it's the best visual collaboration platform around.
I love being able to fluidly ideate in the digital world
What do you like best about the product?
The fluidity of moving things: zooming in and out, adding images and annotations. I am dyslexic and also a very visual thinker. I feel constrained by things like powerpoint slides, but with Miro I feel like I can create whilst I think. It helps me to draw connections between things, and see how concepts fit together. Not to mention beding able to ideate together with others.
I'm also a JIRA user and I really like that you can integrate JIRA tickets into Miro.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love better support/integrations with written documents - writing 1-pagers is my other preferred mode of formulating ideas and concepts, and I'd to be able to do this within the Miro ecosystem too. It would be great to interact with written text documents in Miro, and in particualr to be able to annotate and edit text documents with circling or underlining or commenting, like you would normally do on paper.
I would also like additional JIRA integration features... I would like to actually ditch JIRA entirely and use Miro as the main way to track tickets within my team. It's so much easier to move things and visualise things in Miro than in JIRA

Bringing together different sources of information (e.g., images, screenshots of charts, screenshots) and then organizing and contextualizing that information, sharing it with others in a narrative that makes sense, and real-time collaboration with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the templates as a source of inspiration and give yourself the time to explore your creativity
Very nice educational application
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to give feedback to students' work simultaneously and visually through drawings has been a great help in the online education process. In addition, thanks to the countdown feature and the ability to freely arrange the boards, we can also use the miro in our juries. Students can manage their presentations by organizing their own fields. The whole class can draw on the same visual and comment at the same time.
Also, the interface of the application is very easy. Reaching different teams and boards is easy as we can customize the visuals of the boards.

What do you dislike about the product?
Every week, many visuals are added to the boards we create by the students. As the visuals increase, the boards become heavier and take time to open. Although it is about the quality or weight of the images, not being able to control this can be challenging for us. In addition, the fact that everyone using the board is in equal hierarchies can sometimes cause problems in terms of board layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the lesson, it is not possible for everyone to make a comment by cursor or drawing on a visual at the same time with other applications we use. Also, since we can continue to see the picture drawn in the previous lesson in the miro and the added visual in the same place every week, it becomes easier to follow the process of students. This way, students can compare themselves with their classmates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really useful when the boards are arranged properly according to its function.
A must-have project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
From a project management standpoint: I could not dream of a better tool. I first used Miro as an interactive collaboration tool during a large, international (WebEx) conference. It worked so well, we decided to explore other functions Miro has to offer. Now, I create personal boards to organize my private and professional goals, as a presentation tool, and have even created a PDF template for our project's stakeholder engagement strategy. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, and our whole team was thrilled to have it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about here. We accidentally added seats to our account a few times when we meant to share a Miro board, but the problem was quickly resolved by a Miro team member. Thank you!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great place for members of our large, international project to share ideas, create presentations, and develop documents. It's hard to find something to complain about!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a perfect tool—for individuals and organizations alike!
Amazing for ideas and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an incredible tool for planning projects and collaborating as a team, especially while we're all working remotely. But safe to say, we'll be keeping Miro beyond our return to the studio as we've found its features so easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Miro is it leaves us with a challenge of how we'll return to in-person planning and workshop facilitation! Having everything on screen for all to see that doesn't involve writing up notes and sharing photos has been a blessing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've found it quick and easy to create plans, workflows, and basic schematic diagrams that need to show a direction of travel or demonstrate a process. We've used it with clients to plan websites, capture personas, and map out functionality which has been super quick and easy for everyone on our team to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is an excellent tool for planning workflows and sharing ideas across a remote team.
A Brilliant and Versatile Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has many free-form applications. It's great to get lots of ideas on a page before you start to organize them. It is always my first stop for any new project.
The collaboration function has been essential during lockdown to run team workshops and present complex process plans. It is really helping shape the future direction of our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet - it is simple and intuitive compared to some of the others I have used. I cant say I use the templates much - though i have tried - i always find they dont quite suit my purpose - maybe some more to choose form or submitted by users?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro is a great starting point for formulating plans and processes. I have used it for Staff Planning and development, new project planning, process frameworks, creating and running virtual workshops.
Using Miro at the start of a project or porcess saves us a lot of time getting everyone on the same page.
