Miro is absolutely amazing for Mood Boards
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy for teams to get together some ideas and inspirations for a project. I even found some project managing tools and plan to use them more often in the figure like kanban boards. And it's great to do some documentation while a running project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Work spaces and the Export function. As a student we often switch groups and if you don't create a separate workspace for every project everyone can see and edit your boards. There should be something like only a shared board. And the export Funktion should export the slides also for pdf generation, like placed on a white A4 page so the boards aren't all in different screen formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's mainly important for getting a common mood for the project and get some inspirations.
Perfect collaborative whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, easy to shar your thoughts and to do a brainstorm. You can also use it as a task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have access to a big board but if you are using it at his full length it's starting to be laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me tackle the challenges of remote and visual collaboration by providing a versatile, interactive whiteboard where I can brainstorm, map workflows, and share ideas in real-time with my team, regardless of location.
Using Miro benefits me by improving communication, as visual concepts reduce misunderstandings, and by saving time thanks to integrated tools that help structure sessions efficiently. Plus, its accessibility supports both real-time and asynchronous work, making collaboration smooth and dynamic, especially for creative projects

Powerful Collaboration Tool for (Distributed) Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a powerful tool that has become our standard in our team's collaboration toolkit, especially for lessons learned / retrospective sessions. It’s very easy to jump in, even for new team members or external stakeholders. The frequent updates keep us engaged and looking forward to exploring the latest additions. Also, I can easily locate older boards by using the content search feature, even if I only remember a few keywords. That saved me a lot of time in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with large boards, especially those containing over 30 frames, loading times / performance while zooming/scrolling can noticeably lag.
During voting sessions, the current setup allows participants to see the pointers of other users on the board even if their votes are still ongoing. This visibility can unintentionally reveal where others could have placed their votes. Ideally, participant pointers would be hidden until all voting is complete, ensuring a more impartial experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a shared digital space where all team members can contribute in real-time, regardless of their location (remote setup).
It is very easy to gather thoughts, ideas or feedback during a session. We also use Miro to create software architecture diagrams.

Intuitive Collaboration Platform with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for team collaboration and facilitation with clients and find it to be a clean and easy-to-use visual workspace, ideal for participatory collaboration. I like that it's pretty easy to get started right away and has the ability to scale to more complexity. I also appreciate the templates, which I often reference for examples and ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often have to remind myself to check to see what is 'locked down' before going from board design to board use. And often when small things change on the board, the connections between items (the lines) can get all messed up in big ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for a clean and easy to use visual workspace for participatory collaboration, though I have to watch out for locked items and connection issues.
Awesome Collaboration Tool for Global Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaboration opportunities that Miro provides, especially being part of a globally dispersed company with a hybrid work setup. Miro stands out as a tool that allows multiple team members to brainstorm simultaneously, which is incredibly beneficial. The platform is essential for capturing everyone's creativity and facilitating brainstorming on a single, easy-to-use canvas. This feature enables us to easily capture all ideas and then allows team members to build on them, using it as a resource for future projects. I also find that Miro's intuitive design makes it very easy to use. Unlike other software that often requires tutorials or onboarding training, I found Miro's interface straightforward and user-friendly, making the adoption process seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find challenges in the organization of different boards within Miro, especially given that different teams maintain various profiles and permissions, which creates difficulty in accessing past boards. This organizational complexity often leads to extended time spent locating necessary resources, indicating a need for better education or tips for managing and archiving boards effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to explore alternate flows for customer journeys, facilitating global collaboration and simultaneous brainstorming, capturing creativity on a single canvas that is easy to use, aiding in ideation and team alignment.
Miro is easy to use. Great for engineers to design and share implementation plans.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Less overwhelming compared to Figma.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text formatting is not quite as advanced as I like and the table building functionality is not great. However, I do think they're solving this via the Docs feature.
I wish there was an easy way to build UML diagrams. All it's missing is a way to create a table for UML schemas and list out fields easily.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an engineer, I can quickly build out engineering and systems diagrams. It's fun to use.
Short sweet concise
What do you like best about the product?
I would like to highlight the ease of use on Miro to get ideas out in a digital format. Short of using a physical whiteboard it's been a hub for remote teams to collaborate and diagram our issues out in a presentable manner.
The templates are useful in a number of ways. Even when all the elements are not incorporated into the discussion the individual compenents can be repurposed appropriately.

What do you dislike about the product?
One constant issue we have as a participant is text on the elements tend to get bigger and bigger.
The longer the discussion and in turn the production of elements tend to end up with text size in the triple digits.
This could be the problem of the user.
Maybe there should be a way to normalize the board at the end. To scale down both text / icon elements appropriately?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General whiteboard discussions as the need arises. Otherwise all this will have to be captured in text format somehow.
Virtual Whiteboard of my Dreams
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can super quickly drop, images, pdfs and links on my boards. I like that you can draw on top of items and then download mark-ups in a pdf. It feels very fluid and a place to keep all of my design, its super helpful as an Interior Designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some of the drawing tools and arrows etc. a little fussy to navaigate espeically compared to non-cloud programs. I would love a revision bubble tool or improvements to the arrow with text tool, like it doesnt need to link so hard to an item. I would love a way to make like a standard title block on a board and keep using that one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing a single online location for all the images and documents needed in the design process that can be shared and collborated on with others.
This is the best tool of draw my idea in a chart.
What do you like best about the product?
I use it to make a project skeleton plan, presentations, brainstorm, and more. it is very intuitive, offering many templates. It saves in the cloud, where I don't need to worry about losing it. And it is easy to find my boards on the homepage. It is much better than searching files under your File Explore.
What do you dislike about the product?
it is not easy to paste a picture in. you have to upload it, instead of copy-paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaborating with a group of people. It is so easy. Forget about MS team white board.
