Boosted Team Collaboration, Needs Better Export Options

  • November 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate using Miro for its open workspace, which allows me to explore different directions and structure my thinking in various ways. This flexibility helps in brainstorming and creating presentations within my PR and communications team. The collaborative nature of Miro with its capacity for integrating different sources, information, and links makes it more dynamic than traditional presentation tools like Google Slides. I find the open workspace incredibly valuable because it lets me move freely and structure my thoughts in multiple ways, making it easy to adapt to our team needs. I also like that Miro is positively restricted, as the limited number of boxes or sticky notes helps me focus on the content rather than getting bogged down by design details. The ability to visually tag with sticky notes, link different content types seamlessly, and adjust scale provides a unique and effective platform for teamwork and organizing ideas. This ease and adaptability make Miro a robust tool that I believe is only going to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the new AI tools in Miro not as effective as I initially hoped. They promise a lot, but pasting a spreadsheet or a block of text and having them create slides can be hit or miss. I often spend more time undoing and tweaking the design rather than it being an efficient process. This has led me to stop using these features in favor of manually creating content or using external tools like ChatGPT. Additionally, exporting slides to PowerPoint is not straightforward, which is a challenge for my team as we primarily use PowerPoint. Also, there were some onboarding challenges for me personally, as learning to navigate and use the tool effectively took some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to enhance team collaboration and creativity by whiteboarding, unifying diverse content, and using visual tools like sticky notes for brainstorming and presentations.

Dependable Whiteboard for Ideation and Collaboration

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro primarily because it just works in a dependable, predictable, and enjoyable way. Since 2020, right after the COVID shutdown, Miro has steadily improved its offerings and features, which I greatly appreciate. It's a straightforward platform that simplifies onboarding new participants, making it accessible even for those who are new to it. As a small business owner, the cost is manageable, which adds to its appeal. Its shared space allows everyone to simultaneously see, share, and contribute, creating an inclusive environment for collaboration. I also value Miro as a repository for diverse documents and research, and as a core ideation tool. It alleviates the facilitation challenge of 'what artifacts are created,' enabling me to focus on people, ideation, and strategy rather than the capture of ideas. It democratizes the ideation process, allowing all participants to contribute during and outside sessions. Miro integrates seamlessly with tools like Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom, which I utilize for virtual facilitation, as well as Dropbox and Apple Keynote. The Google Image feature is another component I frequently use. The initial setup was incredibly simple for my small business, showcasing Miro's adaptability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to upload larger files onto the board as the current limit is 35MB. I would also like some increased granularity in sharing features for guest users, as the current options are limiting. Additionally, deeper integration with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet would enhance the product's usability alongside other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create a shared collaborative space, simplifying document storage and ideation, which enhances participation and focus on strategy rather than logistics. It democratizes ideation and makes client sessions more efficient, acting as a virtual whiteboard.

Effortless Collaboration and Instant Productivity with Miro

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Miro is how simple it is to collaborate, especially when people are not in the same room. Conversations can proceed more quickly and remain more focused when everyone's cursors are visible, sticky notes can be added in real time, and ideas can be visually mapped out on a single, large shared canvas. I can start working right away rather than starting from scratch thanks to the templates for things like mind maps, user journeys, and retros.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like about Miro most is how this tool makes collaboration feel easy, especially when people are not in the same room. You can see everybody's cursors, you can add sticky notes in real time, and visually map out your ideas on one big shared canvas. This really makes conversations move faster and stay more focused. The templates for things like retros, mind maps, and user journeys save a lot of time; I jump right into the work, instead of building everything from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a single shared area with Miro where I can:

Instead of juggling lengthy chat threads or slide decks, brainstorm with the team in real time.

Workflows, user journeys, and plans should be visually mapped out so that everyone can quickly understand and align.

Organize workshops and retros from a distance without sacrificing the "in-room whiteboard" experience.

Easy to use, highly recommended

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the simple user interface and easy sign-up of Miro. Especially the SSO for businesses is straightforward, and the structural canvas offers both simple standard tools like post-its and shapes as well as high customization options. This is excellent for both beginners and experienced users. The initial setup was very easy, which made it easier to start using Miro. I am pleased that I can recommend Miro to a friend or colleague with a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 for these reasons, and I just recommended it today.
What do you dislike about the product?
Attaching functions to the toolbar, such as icons and images, did not work, possibly due to a full toolbar or something similar. Additionally, there are sometimes too few templates for important business planning aspects and for some topics far too many templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for customizable design elements and simple tools like post-its and shapes, which are perfect for infographics, planning, and brainstorming. The simple user interface and SSO integration are fantastic for both beginners and experienced users.

I love Miro for its flexibility; it seamlessly adapts to various uses such as structuring meetings, conducting workshops, and prototyping ideas. The platform efficiently enables bringing different perspectives together, visualizing complexity, and maintaining a single source of truth for projects. Miro's ease of use ensures that people can quickly become productive with the tool. Additionally, the super easy initial setup facilitated by SSO login significantly simplifies the onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am less aware of new features in Miro and often discover them by accident. It would be beneficial if Miro could suggest new features or highlight when there's an easier way to do something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to bring different perspectives together, visualize complex projects, and establish a single source of truth, which enhances collaboration. Its flexibility and ease of use streamline workshops and prototyping, making it accessible even for new users.
