Free, Easy to Use, but Needs Text Extraction Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is free, so I don't have to pay for it. Setting it up was very easy, which was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find having a more efficient way to extract text would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro gives me a board to fill with stuff for working with colleagues, and it's free, so I don't have to pay for it.
Essential Tool for Organization and Learning
What do you like best about the product?
I like the multiple tools of Miro. I also enjoy the functionality of Zoom, as you can work in one space and then make it small to work in another. The initial setup experience was straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it can be worked on as a visitor, I would like it to be possible to work only by logging in, since anonymous people can enter, modify the file, and it is not known who it was.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me with organization and offers multiple tools that facilitate my learning and training.
Intuitive, Collaborative Workshops with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro intuitive and clear, which is important for my work in business consulting with clients. The feature for collaborative work with teams is also a big advantage. The initial setup was very easy, which made using it very pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organize and sort could be better, and I would appreciate it if color schemes could adjust quickly and automatically. Additionally, there should be a notification if something is copied more than twice, so that Miro could handle it automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for the preparation and execution of workshops as well as for knowledge management on multiple occasions. It is intuitive and clear and promotes collaborative work within the team.
Transformative for Brainstorming and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
I don't lose ideas anymore by using sticky notes, and I can explain complex thoughts faster with simple flowcharts. Grouping and layering capabilities allow me to spot themes and patterns during brainstorming sessions. Frames are helpful for storytelling, acting like chapters and making reviews and presentations smooth by allowing focus on specific parts of the Miro board. The quick linking between complex and simple objects streamlines my workflow. Templates are great for jumpstarting quick thinking and fast, simple sprint planning, making my work more productive. I really appreciate how the infinite canvas makes conversations more fluid as brainstorming and structure coexist naturally. Getting started with Miro was straightforward, and learning to use the canvas felt natural and simple, aided by the helpful templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes big boards get sluggish. Searching and navigation doesn't always go well. Simple and effective keyboard navigations would be better. Integrations are good but not two-way. Data perfectly flows into Miro but not back; tasks and cards can be imported, but if we change on Miro, it doesn't reflect back. If a ticket in Jira is updated, then Miro doesn't reflect that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming, planning, and simplifying concepts with flowcharts and sticky notes. It prevents idea loss, enhances brainstorming with themes, storytelling frames, and templates, and supports sprint planning. It replaced tools like PowerPoint and physical boards, providing a reusable and infinite canvas for fluid conversations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Effortless Collaboration and Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro for brainstorming new ideas and collaborating during meetings. It's helpful for creating product schemas and dev flows in the development department, as well as for conducting retrospectives. I appreciate the ease of use that means I don't need to read any documentation to get started, and I think the pricing is OK too. I find the post-it method particularly effective for collaboration, and having an online dashboard makes things easier. The initial setup was super easy, and it continues to be my first choice when it comes to this kind of tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro facilitates collaboration on ideas, using a virtual 'post-its' method, which I find excellent. It's also easy to use without needing documentation, aiding in brainstorming and meetings.
Miro: A Remote Team's Favorite for Real-Time Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how smooth real-time collaboration is with Miro, even when working with big groups. I also like the feature that allows locking elements so no one accidentally moves them. Additionally, Miro offers more flexible features and is more user-friendly compared to Lucidspark, which led to my team switching to it. The initial setup of Miro was extremely easy, and I find Slack notifications for new comments and mentions really useful for keeping track of discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting really wide boards cuts off content too often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro prevents losing track of feedback in emails and enables smooth real-time collaboration with big groups.
Flexible Free Plan and Excellent Mind Map Options
What do you like best about the product?
The mind map options, and that the free plan is much flexible more than other platform
What do you dislike about the product?
In touch devices, controlling the shapes and elements is not easy like the keyboard. Elements move from place and disorganize over different devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps display everything thing in one big flexible space, and adding the team members to it, which help us organize our thinking better and also share updates easily.
Real-Time Collaboration and Simple Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro because it is intuitive and easy to use. Real-time collaboration with multiple people is one of the features I appreciate the most, in addition to making my work more organized and optimizing my time. The initial setup was simple and easy, allowing us to create a shared environment with all the collaborators on our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use many icons on Miro and always have to download from Flat Icon. If there were a direct integration or a generative AI that created the icons for me, it would be fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro centralizes workflows, facilitates the sharing of ideas and collaboration with other teams, making my work more organized and optimizing my time. It is intuitive, easy to use, and allows real-time collaboration with multiple people.
Flexible Storytelling with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that arrows can be customized in Miro, making the story representation aesthetically better, and that the whole board is movable. It's great that I can make multiple frames within the same board, allowing me to represent different aspects of the same problem, like causes, stakeholders, and outcomes. The initial setup looked simple enough, which is a strength of Miro. I appreciate its simplicity and approachability.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's kind of confusing to change the shape of sticky notes/boxes. Also, sometimes, when somebody comments on something, it covers the content and makes it hard to make edits and move the original work around. There seems to be many other features that I don't know about or people can't easily discover. The tutorial in the beginning didn't help me understand these. The same for creating the frame. Though it's a great feature, I myself don't know how to do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps visually represent the story of our problem without needing detailed labels and allows us to illustrate different problem aspects within the same board.
