Intuitive Collaboration, But Drawing Tools Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
This is currently the most well-known software for both online and offline collaboration. Its intuitive design and ease of use make it accessible, allowing even beginners to get started quickly and comfortably.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features, such as the arrows, aren't very well implemented—they tend to clip in awkward ways. I think it would be much better if the tool offered more flexibility with shapes, similar to what Illustrator provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform excels in organizing ideas, visualizing data, and facilitating the sharing of concepts. It provides a smooth experience for managing thoughts and presenting information in a clear, accessible way.
Excellent for Collaboration, but Zoom Controls Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to collaborate with others in real time. I also use it to create layouts for web pages on the website and for system architecture and Miro is very easy to use and learn. I use it frequently because it is easy to use to photoshop images and plan architecture. It is also easy to implement designs. Customer support is also easy to contact. This is easy to integrate in my daily schedule as it saves automatically which I like.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scrolling in and out can be a bit clunky sometimes. When I share with my teammates so they can use it they are confused on how to zoom in and out and don't know how to use the arrow scroll. Maybe improving the zoom in and out feature would make this the best platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me for visual collaboration when needed to design the architecture of our apps. It also helps me diagram and map out the designs for our processes. I also use it to photoshop images and it is easier to use that microsoft word.

Infinite Canvas and Versatility Make Miro a Creative Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
What I absolutely love most about Miro is its infinite canvas and incredible versatility. It's not just a digital whiteboard; it's a boundless creative and collaborative workspace that adapts to virtually any need.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is an exceptional tool, there are a few areas where it could improve, primarily related to performance with very large boards and the initial learning curve for new users.
Firstly, when a board becomes incredibly dense with content – hundreds of sticky notes, images, diagrams, and various elements – I've noticed that performance can sometimes take a hit. Loading times can increase, and there can be occasional lag when navigating or manipulating objects, especially on less powerful machines or with slower internet connections. While this is understandable given the complexity it handles, it can occasionally interrupt the flow during intense collaborative sessions.

Explaining a complex user flow, system architecture, or marketing funnel using just text or slides often falls short, as it can be difficult for others to fully grasp the overall picture. Miro, being a visual-first platform, enables me to create detailed flowcharts, journey maps, and diagrams that make intricate information immediately clear. This approach helps teams reach a shared understanding and alignment much more quickly. Stakeholders are able to view the entire process, spot bottlenecks, and leave feedback directly on the visual map, which leads to better and faster decision-making.
Effortless Collaboration, Minor Hiccups with Large Boards
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and flexible Miro is to use. It helps my team brainstorm and organize ideas in one place. The templates and real-time collaboration make everything smooth and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a bit longer to load large boards, and a few advanced features can be tricky to find at first. Otherwise, it works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me and my team work together easily, even when we’re not in the same place. It keeps our ideas, plans, and projects organized and saves a lot of time during meetings.
Miro: A Collaborative Powerhouse for Workshop Facilitation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro for providing an outstanding platform for collaboration, which allows me to gather real-time input and perspectives from others, enhancing our brainstorming sessions and thought processes. The tools available such as the diagram and Post-it features, along with the ability to create different frames, are notably intuitive and have become easier to use with recent updates. This makes organizing and structuring my thoughts seamless. Additionally, the timer and presentation mode are invaluable tools that enhance my workflow. I value Miro's onboarding experience, which quickly familiarized me with its capabilities, thanks to the help from my UX researcher who demonstrated the features expertly. This ease of setup and use is something I find particularly compelling. Furthermore, the product's interoperability with other tools I use, like Confluence and Jira, creates a unified workflow that's nothing short of efficient. The platform's collaborative nature, paired with its usability across various devices, further emphasizes its convenience. This collaborative ease and flexibility across devices are key reasons why I'd choose to continue using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often have trouble with the zooming in and zooming out functionality. Sometimes, when I begin at a certain resolution or percentage of the screen, it can be challenging to switch frames or navigate between different Miro boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to enhance real-time collaboration, enabling team members to input comments and share viewpoints efficiently during workshops, brainstorming sessions, and feedback gathering.
Great for Collaboration, But Takes Time to Learn
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to collaborate with multiple people and break down projects and systems together.
Once you become familiar with it, it becomes easy to break down a problem using the objects available.
It's also very good for giving and receiving feedback in the workplace, we use it quite often for that.

What do you dislike about the product?
it's not very intuitive at first, you need a bit of time to familiarise yourself with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever we work on a project it's always very beneficial to make diagrams and mapping out the various steps involved or understanding the connection between different tables, in the context of database analysis. It's very useful to break down technical problems and also work as a team to brainstorm ideas and collaborate on finding new solutions.
Brilliant for Collaboration, But Can Get Overwhelming on Large Boards
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is how effortlessly it brings people together—no matter where they’re located—and turns abstract ideas into something visual, tangible, and shared. The infinite canvas, the intuitive tools, and real-time collaboration make brainstorming, planning, and mapping connections not just efficient, but also creative and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Miro is a powerful collaboration tool, it can become a bit overwhelming when boards get very large or busy, especially for new users. Performance can sometimes slow down with many elements, and certain advanced features require paid plans, which can limit full collaboration for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of visual collaboration when working across different locations. It provides a shared digital space where teams can brainstorm, plan, and organize information in real time. This makes communication faster, reduces misunderstandings, and helps turn ideas into actionable plans more efficiently. It has especially benefited me by keeping projects aligned and ensuring everyone stays engaged and on the same page.
Great for Quick Team Sketches and System Designs
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use it to rapidly sketch out ideas or system designs while discussing with my team. It streamlines the process, allowing us to use it as a sort of back-of-the-envelope tool to clarify our thoughts and identify any gaps in our reasoning.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, connecting shapes or modifying the type of arrow curve can feel a bit awkward. It would be helpful if there were an option in the settings to set a default for this. Of course, it's possible that I simply haven't discovered that setting yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team relies on effective communication, and personally, I need to maintain clear thinking. Miro addresses both of these needs by offering a collaborative platform where we can quickly share ideas and refine them together.
Essential and Intuitive Tool for Daily Work
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for over four years mainly to create graphics, conduct interactive retrospectives, and activities like brainstorming with my teams. The tool is very practical and intuitive, which makes it easy to use. Its user design allows for very easy use of the features. I especially appreciate the buttons on the left side panel for manipulating board content and the buttons at the top for general actions, as well as its login and saving functions. Additionally, the templates in Miro are extremely useful because they allow me to adjust pre-designed layouts without having to start from scratch. Online editing facilitates collaboration with other members, as only a link is needed to access the graphics. Miro has become an essential tool in my daily routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing
