Excellent Collaboration and Templates, But Performance and Pricing Need Improvement

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration is a standout feature, allowing several team members to work together at once and making remote workshops and meetings much more engaging. Miro also provides a diverse selection of templates, ranging from mind maps to Kanban boards, which helps jumpstart any project. Its integration capabilities are strong, connecting smoothly with tools such as Slack, Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace. The drag-and-drop interface is highly intuitive, making it accessible even for those without a design background. For visual thinkers, Miro is especially useful for mapping user journeys, planning product roadmaps, and facilitating brainstorming sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance issues on large boards or slower devices.
Steep learning curve for new users unfamiliar with visual tools.
Limited offline access, which can be a challenge in low-connectivity environments.
Pricing may be a barrier for small teams or startups, especially for advanced features.
Permissions and access control can be tricky to manage in larger organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it easy to map out processes, user journeys, and product roadmaps visually. Miro makes it easy to map out data pipelines, model architectures, and analysis plans with your team.

What do you like best about the product?
- the possibility to collaborate with my team
- the flexibility: we use it for all our workshops, mock-ups, processes
- the usability: the interface is very user-friendly, congrats!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to group better the different boards, by topic or by date of creation/edition. And also viewing easily how many boards have been archived
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it with our business stakeholders to create dashboard mock-ups and edit them live during our workshops. It's also a great tool to brainstorm ideas, design new processes and organize project outputs in time.

Intuitive Collaboration with Powerful AI Features

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro’s new AI capabilities are a genuine game-changer. The introduction of Sidekicks (custom GPTs embedded directly in your boards) and Flows (visual, collaborative automation) takes the platform far beyond digital whiteboarding. These tools let you customise complex actions, automate repetitive work, and move seamlessly from idea to execution – all in real time, with full transparency to the team. What I like most is how they help you get further, faster. You can design, analyse, and iterate within the same workspace without losing momentum. It’s not just AI bolted on – it’s deeply integrated into the way teams actually work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - it's a great platform!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro facilitates virtual collaboration, keeping our team on the same page, solving problems in a single session, and enhancing alignment with AI tools.

Miro: A Game-Changer for Collaborative Project Management

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro is a brilliant tool for bringing all aspects of a project together on a single board, allowing for seamless interactions within and outside our company. It facilitates efficient team interactions, commenting, and compiling ideas. The tool’s ability to help in project management by compiling everything on a single platform before moving to design software like InDesign is fantastic. I appreciate that Miro is straightforward to set up and comes with a simple initial tutorial, which makes it user-friendly even for those using only a small portion of its capabilities. The features of Miro are very simple to use and enhance our productivity, as it is an efficient platform for project workflows. I am impressed by the capability to drag and drop information, compartmentalize data, and effectively use the comment and response feature. Such communication tools are incredibly beneficial as updates are organized, and changes are highlighted, making it easy to keep track of progress. The aspect where multiple team members can work parallelly on the same documents as if having a conversation is ingenious, supporting our productivity from anywhere without losing time. The possibility to bring diverse information, such as text and images, and integrate them into a cohesive presentation is invaluable for design and concept presentations. Overall, the streamlined experience, from the beginning test phase to the presentation stage, makes Miro a tool I'd choose repeatedly. Based on these features, I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of integration with key tools like Excel, InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, and AutoCAD a significant limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro centralizes our project management, facilitating team interactions and idea sharing. It compiles all project aspects on one board, enabling collaborative work, enhancing efficiency, and allowing simultaneous contributions without geographic restrictions.

Powerful Visual Canvas with Need to Improve Loading

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for about 3 years as a canvas to capture ideas, which significantly helps me in the process of thinking and visualizing complex concepts. I love the ability to zoom in and zoom out on texts and diagrams, as it is a way of interacting with information that is very friendly to my brain and facilitates a more effective consolidation of knowledge and ideas. This tool allows me to make high-quality interpretations and presentations. I also frequently use it to present information to clients, conduct workshops, and as a collaborative medium to work with different people. I appreciate how Miro becomes a single source of truth for certain projects. I find particularly useful the feature that allows me to paste and play YouTube videos directly on the board, which enriches my presentations. Additionally, despite an initial learning curve, finding templates and the ease of copying and pasting elements, as well as the use of commands, have improved my user experience in managing the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it takes long to load. They should improve the latency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to consolidate ideas and presentations, improve the communication of complex concepts and team collaboration, which facilitates the visualization and organization of information.

Intuitive Visualization for Teams, but Needs More Templates and Export Options

  • October 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to easily visualize my thought process to explain complex relationships and connections between different topics by enabling easy to edit tools. Its very intuitive to use and simple boxes make it easy. Also colour coding items makes it a breeze. We use it weekly with our team to explore and refine ideas. Even my colleagoes who have never used Miro before have gotten the hang of it after showing my ideas on the Miro board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the visualization part is too large and in focus. I wish there was more templates and settings so one wouldnt need to reinvent the wheel every time. Its hard to convert the input to excel data aswell, as this would enable us to export relationship maps etc, in a table format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decluttering my brain and helping me sketch out my ideas digitally. Helps me to get my ideas across and put ideas into reality.
