  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
At first, the board can seem intimidating, but it actually has a very quick learning curve. It's an excellent tool for both brainstorming and collaboration, and it simply works as expected. There are plenty of different uses, tools, and add-ons available, making it suitable for a wide range of purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When considering whether you need the paid version, it can be challenging to understand exactly what is included at each pricing level. The details about pricing and what comes with each plan could be presented more clearly. Additionally, it's important to think about the scale of your project before starting on the board, as this can influence your experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer journey and the way we translate it into our back end system have been positively impacted by this tool. Its collaborative features are excellent, allowing us to add numerous elements to the board and connect them in a manner that maintains clear relationships. At the same time, the layout ensures that each stage of the project remains distinct and unobstructed, which helps us manage the process more effectively.

Enhances Visual Models, Easy to Use with Room for AI Improvement

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly easy to use, with a good user experience that facilitates seamless creation of process diagrams, whiteboard exercises, and logic models. The visual representation that Miro provides helps identify backlogs and issues more clearly than plain text, which enhances my efficiency and problem-solving capabilities. I also appreciate the AI component, which is capable of generating diagrams from written algorithms, though I think there is room for improvement. Overall, the initial setup of Miro was straightforward, adding to its user-friendly nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that BPMN is not included in the initial license. At least a basic version of BPMN should be available without extra charges. It would be acceptable to charge more for creating code using BPMN, but the fundamental BPMN elements should be integrated into the standard package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating diagrams and models, which provides better visual representation, helping identify issues otherwise missed in text. The AI feature enhances efficiency by generating diagrams from algorithms.

Flexible and Collaborative, Yet AI Features Need Improvement

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly easy to use, which makes my workflow much smoother. I appreciate the flexibility it offers, allowing me to create a variety of canvases and diagrams pertinent to my role as a product manager without getting bogged down by complicated instructions or features. The ease of integrating my Apple track pad with Miro enhances my user experience significantly, making navigation and task execution almost effortless. I'm thrilled to have discovered that I can quickly copy and save diagrams as images, facilitating efficient collaboration with tools like ChatGPT to refine my content. This capability to export images for further processing or peer review is invaluable. The numerous tools and methods available in Miro empower me to adapt my approach as needed to achieve optimal results. I genuinely enjoy the simplicity, variety, and flexibility that Miro provides, making it an essential asset for both my individual projects and collective team collaborations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI functionality for creating diagrams in Miro is frustratingly inefficient. Whenever I attempt to use it to generate flowcharts or diagrams, it fails to deliver the expected results, which is a significant inconvenience. The AI appears to be limited primarily to creating sticky notes and assisting during workshops or with documents, but not much beyond that. While I'd love for it to enhance diagram creation, it currently falls short, resulting in having to do these tasks manually, which is time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps my team collaborate and communicate effectively, particularly in remote settings. It allows us to create flexible, non-wordy documentation, run workshops, quickly generate summaries, and organize ideas with AI assistance, enhancing overall productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Miro's free plan as it provides immense value for my personal projects, such as organizing gaming events with friends, without incurring high costs. Compared to other similar platforms, which can be quite expensive and complicated, Miro stands out for being cost-effective and user-friendly. I find Miro to be incredibly effective for organizing and tracking important business information. The ease of access to information prevents it from getting lost, which is a significant benefit. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro is very straightforward, making it accessible even for new users. These features make Miro an indispensable tool for both personal and professional use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro could improve its functionality regarding guest profiles in terms of viewing and editing boards. Specifically, I would like to see a more in-depth permission system where I can select specific areas that people with certain permissions can edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize and track important information, ensuring it remains easily accessible and protected from being lost.

Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for Improvement

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively as a product designer for tasks like design, discovery, ideation, and product management, and I appreciate its ability to support all facets of my work until implementation. I love that Miro is a collaborative platform that is accessible for everyone on the team, even non-tech-savvy individuals, making it an excellent tool for bringing teams closer together. Its ease of use significantly supports our ideation process by allowing us to prototype and develop new ideas seamlessly. The ability to bring in different UI components and help align the team on the same page during brainstorming sessions is invaluable. I enjoy the pre-built templates and the option to create custom team templates, which have been incredibly helpful. Using Miro for user research is also beneficial as it allows me to organize research questions, record insights, and utilize its AI clustering tool effectively, which enhances productivity and decision-making. Additionally, Miro aids in roadmap activities with my team and ensures leadership is informed of progress. The straightforward initial setup process further adds to my satisfaction with Miro. Overall, I am a strong advocate for Miro and would rate it a nine out of ten in terms of recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the prototyping tool in Miro to be not very user-friendly, and some components are not intuitive for my colleagues. It would be beneficial if I could add brand colors by default, as the current setup leads to confusion when components don't automatically adhere to the same color scheme. Additionally, heavy boards do not load progressively, posing issues when the internet is unstable. In recent months, I've noticed that updates to Miro's navigation system have increased the time it takes to load files, which is frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to enhance team collaboration, simplify prototyping, and bring diverse ideas together easily. It's accessible to everyone, helps in creating product roadmaps, and keeps the team aligned. The AI tool and templates facilitate user research and decision-making efficiently.
