What do you like best about the product?
One of the most helpful features of DSAR software is automation. It can automate various tasks related to managing DSAR requests, such as searching for relevant data, redacting personal information, and sending responses. This can help organizations save time and resources, especially if they receive a large volume of DSAR requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most significant drawbacks of DSAR software is cost. The software can be expensive, particularly for small organizations that have limited resources. Implementation and maintenance costs can also add up, making it difficult for organizations to justify the expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAR software helps organizations solve business problems related to managing large volumes of DSAR requests, complying with data protection regulations, customization, improving accuracy and efficiency, and improving data security. By automating tasks, providing customization, and ensuring compliance with regulations, DSAR software offers significant benefits to organizations looking to manage DSAR requests more effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it that it keeps us compliant with all privacy regulations and requirements around the world and makes it easy to do for a reasonable price compared to its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was pain in the butt to get up and running and to integrate everything into our existing systems and processes but that's probably to be expected with just about any vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We receive any DSARs and using a manual approach would be fairly cumbersome to do (& was before we started using this software) so automating that process as much as possible has been a key.

What do you like best about the product?
Wat good thing about Exterro Data Subject Access Request is you get to know how your privacy data is being used or organized in the organizations. Its good to know when you need security and privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a good service or product i could say, keeping individuals data safe and secure. protecting privacy. So nothing as such to dislike about Exterro Data Subject Access Request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When earlier individuals were not aware of how their private data and such details were stored by organizations, now using this tool, it has become easier to track correct update the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Legal compliance, better knowledge transfer and avoiding penalties are the key elements though one can also be used to better business management
What do you dislike about the product?
The user need to abide by data compliance and it's a expensive task still fines could be imposed on companies who are using it..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering knowledge on technologies of sensitive data and remain compliance with data protection..

Data Inventory - Building Block of Privacy Program Success

What do you like best about the product?
I picked up where my organization had left off and was able to complete our first corporate-wide Data Inventory. I am now using those results to flush out a data privacy, retention / deletion schedule, etc. It has been a great building block, and people like Emily have been hugely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to interview some of the respondents because they didn't answer the questions with full completeness - The feedback that I heard was that the DI questionnaire was confusing and really long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to set up a retention schedule and have a Data Privacy program, so I am using the DI for that. I haven't realized any benefits yet as I am working on the next steps with the DI.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a way to start up a privacy program, I recommend Exterro's DI - especially the team that comes along with it.
