Superb fraud protection for little money
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of Seon enables us to automatically publish 80% of our transactions online with a precision of 99.5%. The UI is done in a way to create new fraud rules quickly and also to see the potential impact of them. Integration into our system was a matter of 1 week. The onboarding of Seon was superb. They always took time when we had questions. They also regularly assess our performance and come up with improvement suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is sometimes a bit flaky. Clicking on a filter shows sometimes no results. When I re-click it shows results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our approval process was 100% manual work. Costing 1.5 FTEs. With SEON we could automate 80% of all transaction review, reducing 80% of our staff cost. Seons fraud detection is as good as the manual one so we didn't even need to sacrifice quality.

We solve by SEON fraud prevention protection tasks during a payment transaction and set up a lot of rules, using them for the customer support team.

Just use it.
Makes our checks much easier and quicker compared to other fraud tools used in the past

So far we only found positive aspects about it

At the moment, we're using it mainly to fight bonus abusers and it proved to be highly effective
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need to constantly review rules within SEON to make it as efficient as possible. Fraud groups keep on evolving and it's beneficial to dedicate time to understand these groups and adapt SEON rules to these changes in behaviour.
My in using the SEON tool so far has been very positive.

As for an anti-fraud operation manager, I suppose the best side of Seon is a cool support team: fast, smart, and pushing.
Of course, the product is good - stable, tenable, clear. It really helps to prevent fraudulent purchases. But support guys work brilliantly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some technical issues regarding data export and rules effectiveness analysis. The product is young and on the way to improving. Some improvements take time and would be great to reduce it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is reducing of chargeback losses. Plus we have clear and logical transaction data to analyze and improve ads, site and product localisations.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Seon now for a little over 12 months and the time saved is invaluable. The data returned on the player makes it very easy to identify non genuine players and help to tackle bonus abuse and fraud. Each day we are discovering new features on Seon which help help us more. The support team are fantastic and always available to help and the regular updates to the software mean that it is always advances keeping us one step ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are yet to find anything we dislike about Seon! The support we receive is fantastic so if we ever have any queries they're always answered immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seon helps us to identify bonus abuse rings, non genuine registrations and fraudulent activity.

What I don't like is a lack of real-time refreshing of transaction list and clear distinction between ones already reviewed and one to be done.

We use the tool to investigate accounts and to establish the risk level. SEON gives us opportunities like running checks against online profiles.
