Extremely Customizable

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is very easy to use, and I love its user-friendliness. In my company, we have users that need to perform various roles and do different tasks in Quickbase, and since switching to Quickbase, they can complete their jobs much more efficiently. I love that it is highly customizable, and allows someone to build out the app even without any coding or database backgrounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to create more complicated apps, automations, or forms, I typically need to rely on a third party company to help us build out the logic. As I do not have a coding background, sometimes I have difficulty doing those more complicated builds on my own. However, Quickbase does have an extensive library of information online, as well as a community where I can ask questions, which I do find extremely useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase solves the problem of having to keep track of different pieces of information and allows us to integrate it all into one place easily. Rather than tracking our customer database in one spot, our product forecasts elsewhere, and our point-of-sale information in a third, Quickbase can link all that data into one area.

Change to features I've used for years. It takes a little getting used to them.

Work log applications and MS Excel use of forms.

What do you like best about the product?
How customizable everything is and can create code pages, queries, forms, fields, and pipelines to streamline corporate automation. Pipelines are absolutely stellar and communicate efficiently with other software such as Docusign and Box to name a few.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can even think of is exact forms. It would be nice for that functionality to be updated via pipelines or other form buttons to easily generate templates. However, with code pages as long as the developer knows html/JS it is doable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers span all energy utilities across the United States and this platform not only helps in terms of forecasting but auditing, creating web portals and easy customer pipelines. QuickBase has to serve both industrial customers with 5-10 year projects as well as instant rebates and we are able to do both.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the Reporting capabilities
Getting to use Pipelines has changed our world
Love the flexibility with the Customization we can do on the fly
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to use forums for answers rather than using a Handbook
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have true data to enable budget preparation. We also use it for the tracking of our daily/weekly/monthly events (programs)

What do you like best about the product?
I really love using QuickBase for our company's needs. It is pretty easy to use, the setup is intuitive once you get used to it and I love the different reporting options there are.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle linking pages together for certain fields; the base setup for new pages and things definitely takes some getting used to for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
QuickBase solves our issue of holding contract information as well as our company asset information. It helps me track the progress of things as they go through the various stages as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase allows me to create impressive reports and charts with just a few clicks. Management is amazed at the detail we can pull very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features developed in QB are not obvious and a Google search is what I find best locates and educates me where a certain function or a special formula can be found or created with QB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing and organizing Safety Data Sheets for fast recall of UN ID Codes and Haz Class of hazardous parts in inventory. Where we would spend hours creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, we now all can use the one QB app we created for up to date real time shared information across the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly QuickBase is for new users to learn, and for respondents to use! It's so easy to customize as well. The best feature is linking tables to each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The back end of Quickbase has a lot of point-and-click, so things like duplicating fields can take a very long time, because editing has to be done one at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store and track research information. We are able to created nested tables to track recruitment, survey response rates, and notes on participants much more easily than Excel.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to customize reports, homepages, dashboards, and fields! Using very little code, we can make colorful fields to alert users of expired or due items, or alert users in charts to the number of items due. It's really so vary versatile and easy to configure and code! Setting up a new app and creating tables and reports is very easy for just about any level of user. I develope Quickbase apps and provide support to our Quickbase users every day. I have found that it's very satisfying to be able to give them what they need in a short period of time!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything about Quickbase. If there is an issue with something, or an enhancement needed, providing feedback to the Quickbase team or reaching out to support is just a few clicks away!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase is allowing us to take data from multiple lines of business in our company, organize it, analyze it, and make the data useful for every department. As we grow, we're bringing more departments into the fold to manage their projects and handle their invoicing. It's just making everything more efficient and most importantly trackable!

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible, constantly evolving, great support available. Users can approach the applications from many different levels of expertise, and they can quickly become users and builders
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen so many downsides to the product - I think what I (as realm administrator and sole designer) need to manage the expectations of users by educating them. If there are downsides, I ascribe it to my lack of skill
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking project time and billing, managing asset allocation, creating an historical record of projects, overall PM and interaction with other software. We started with spreadsheets and now have > 80 users on our core support application
