Easy to Learn - Easy to Use

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to learn to build Quickbase apps which can be used to solve many business challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Quickbase - the things I dislike are so minor. I'd love to be able to apply the branding colors to charts by default (currently you can apply your branding automatically to the top of the screen, but have to do charts individually)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase to track project activities: training, coaching, meetings, and material development. It allows us to keep track of our activities across many distributed staff.

QuickBase is great for project management

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it's a low code environment and ramps up to learn use is rapid. Dashboards and verifying information through reports and user roles stream-lines our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing data into Quickbase and use of the pipelines or converting automation processes to pipelines is still difficult. Automating processes for verification also take time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing transparency and awareness of business processes and project status to everyone in the company. This increases production and improves communication between team members.

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily approachable Quickbase is for a new user, specifically the interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit confusing to know what data you are working with. Is it a table, a form, or a report?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build apps for lawyers and law firms to help them to centralize their data in one place. We use QB to build apps quickly and efficiently.

A quick Base user review

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been a user of quickbase from past 5 years. We have been extremely happy about how fast we can build the apps for our use cases and how quickly the team gets trained on the new topic being released. There are releases and updates almost every quarter and we are looking forward to more releases in the years to come.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile application needs some more user friendly features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fastness in building the apps which can be done in few mins.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use the different charts and tabs to keep reports separated but easily accessible
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes building out reports with how much time it can take, but it's worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing in multiple reports into one platform for reports to be displayed for cross-collaboration between different departments.

Quickbase is a beautiful tool that allows small teams to support large enterprise operations

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Quickbase is the aesthetic - it's a beautiful platform with air-tight operational performance
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase is often coupled with Tableau in our company for data visualization - it seems that QuickBase could do more to compete with Tableau's offerings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We bring over 2000 engineers together to collaborate on projects with Quickbase. It allows us to eliminate swivel-chair activity and streamline processes with automations and integrations.

Game changer for custom business data optimization

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We had been looking for a software solution and couldn't find anything that fit our needs. We needed to be able to customize for our niche business, and Quickbase was the game changer for us. We were able to get our data managed easily, effectively, and can make easy changes daily, weekly or monthly as our needs grow and change. It has revolutionized our business and we continue to build and grow with Quickbase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pipelines have been challenging to build and use. I also don't like that users within our company can't see the pipelines that others within the company have built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking vessel audit and survey activities that we conduct on behalf of the Coast Guard, our Quality Management System (policies and procedures) are all managed within Quickbase.

Easy to learn

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I came to work in an office setting after 8 years working as a hairstylist. I had no technical background but was interested in learning how all things work. My curiosity started with Excel and once I mastered that I got into Microsoft Access. Our company started using Quickbase as a tool for our Quality Assurance team to review other departments and I immersed myself into learning how it worked. Took the Quickbase University course and a little training from a local coach, now for the last 4 years I've been working with the software and love everything it brings to our department
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point with Quickbase is that summary tables have limitations in what they can bring in. Sometimes we'd like a summary table but want certain fields to also be brought in as regular values and the option to have multiple styles of columns isn't present
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase is allowing us to integrate with a daily feed that then filters out what we don't want to see and creates a work list for the day. It creates a workflow for all audits needed to complete with a running total of where we stand at any time during the day. Provides report for all completed work

Pretty good

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick and relatively easy to learn, fairly user-friendly in the desktop app. Pipelines are usually pretty easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile implementation needs some work, some features like dynamic forms rules and newer features feel incongruent and a little unwieldy from a developer's perspective. Pipelines and Jinja could use some more examples and tutorials than what is currently available in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workplaces are in a Hurricane zone, so keeping data safe on the cloud away from the premises is very useful in the case of a natural disaster. It's helped with our data connectivity.
