After 20 years Quickbase is still an amateur product
What do you like best about the product?
In general, once you understand databases, working with Quickbase is relatively easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The people that design it must not use it or understand how people actually use it. It's severely limiting in its capability, especially offline. Dashboards, reports and forms can barely be customized. The only way we've gotten data to be presentable or useful is to export the data to other platforms. But the worst part is that their product development team is years behind what they have promised and their team that fixes known issues is non-existent. If they put as much effort into product development as they did in sales, the product would be twice as good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for invoicing and inventory.
Making Project Management Easy
What do you like best about the product?
We take full advantage of the capability to add new sheets and change them as our department grows. The ability to pull all kinds of reports from our data has been a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do love how intuitive it is to be able to make changes, especially as someone with no coding experience, but there are some parts that are difficult to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives our team one location where all our information is gathered for easy reference. A project manager has to be out for an extended period; we can have another PM or the manager step in and have all project information on hand. It creates consistency between all project reports and frees up our PM's time to work on other items instead of constantly trying to remember if they have done everything needed for a project; if the forms have been completed, they're done!

What do you like best about the product?
It's beneficial with the customized filter function which makes reporting a lot easier
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a minimal search function, allowing only one value for each creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps create reports that may take tons of time if with excel or other tools
Multifaceted Programming for everyone's needs
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase has been a tremdous help with our organization's clients needs. We have been able to set up tracking for multiple purposes. We use Quickbase for auditing as well as client management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The response time for technical assistance has become much slower. Many responses I have received is "Try this link to help resolve your issue". However, when I get someone engaged in my dilemna the resolution is quickly found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase allows our company to track our client portfolios and take notes on client interaction. We are also now using the program to track account reviews for auditing and compliance purposes.

What do you dislike about the product?
Companies that I have been talking to some companies here in Colombiam, they really like Quickbase, but they compare the dashboards with tools such as looker or PowerBI, but their want dinamic dashboards.
I notice some users here still having problems with the pipelines creation. They were used to automations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The companies that I have guided are managing payroll systems, construction projects, invoicing systems and even collection management in Latam and central america.
Quickbase has been a gamechanger!
What do you like best about the product?
Our sales data comes from several different sources in several different formats, Quickbase helped us simplify our process saving us several hours of manual data parsing each month, helping us become more in several other aspects of our business with that time saved. The Quickbase team is helpful and respondent when we need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides are few and Quickbase is constantly working on improving their platform as needed. Some of the pipeline structure can be complicated depending on your company needs, but like I said, they have been constantly improving since we've started using the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Quickbase, managing our sales data was a tedious and time-consuming process. We get data from five or six different sources, and each one formats it differently. On top of that, naming conventions across the data sources don’t always match what we use in Salesforce, which made it hard to upload the data cleanly. I used to spend an entire week just getting the sales data into Salesforce, and it was a very manual process.
With Quickbase, I can upload all the messy data into a staging table, clean it up, and push it into Salesforce quickly and efficiently. It’s saved me so much time and reduced the stress of dealing with mismatched data. Even when there are slight differences in customer names or formats, Quickbase can handle it without me having to manually fix everything. It’s also been reliable—aside from a small issue with Chrome earlier this year, which was resolved, I haven’t had any major problems. Quickbase has streamlined a process that used to be a major headache, and it’s been a big help in keeping things organized and running smoothly.

Easy to use, build-your-own app platform
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is a great low/no code app platform that makes it very easy for non-coders to get get started while simultaneously also providing advanced features that allow for depth and nuance to be baked into your custom applications
What do you dislike about the product?
Elements of QuickBases' account management processes leave something to be desired depending on your account plan. For instance, our account manager requests a quarterly update for their benefit yet we are billed hours for this meeting (which we have since discontinued).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apps built with Quickbase are serving as our primary customer relationship management platform. It helps us have real-time visibility into all revenue opportunities within our sales pipeline at any given time and provides a simple database for reporting applications.

The ability to create our own customized CRM was amazing

Pipelines. They were an after thought solution, so the connecting fields had to be changed. I am always running into issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it as a CRM solution enabling all operational staff to have the information they need to service our clients.

Super functional, easy to use, very concise infromation.

There was not much that I did not like about Quickbase. Unfortunately, we moved to Oracle Netsuite and we no longer use Quickbase.....but I really miss it.
