What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Alation is the lineage graph. We actively reference the lineage graph during our routine discussions in our organization.

Alation provides many opportunities for data governance and innovation.

New to Alation, so it would be great to see more relatable examples of the data integration from other companies.

A smart tool with a crisp UI
What do you like best about the product?
It's a smart data catalog. There are many features such as the Lexicon and Catalog Sets that address the challenges associated with catalog curation. I also love that it allows connection to so many different data sources and data quality tools. It's nice to have options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was more built in data quality capabilities.

Support for wide range of platforms to pull in our enterprise data. Ability to customize the end user portal to hide noise from actionable insights

Mostly wonder if the effort to maintain an accurate data catalog will be worth the business value of the information
