HubSpot Sales Marketing Review - Joseph Dragonette

What do you like best about the product?
Templates are easy to make and use. Email tracking and dashboards are also a huge advantage. Using the Hubspot Crome extension has really helped. Filtering outreach lists is also very straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hubspot calling feature doesn't always work the way I would like it to. Sometimes my calls don't go thru and sometimes there is an excess of static feedback making it hard to hear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The extensive tracking of email opens (including forwarding) and 'link click' tracking is very beneficial. It helps me track which of my prospects are actually showing interest in my communications. Sales pipelines also help keep track of these opportunities and allow my team to take a quick and accurate look at potential revenue. The addition of adding grey boxes to deals that haven't been touched in a certain number of days is also very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unlike some other CRMs, this is truly a sales enablement/marketing tool. There is a learning curve to how effective you can be using the software, but once you do learn all of the functionality inside the platform, it is immensely helpful. Your Hubspot support agent will help you every step of the way. I would recommend that people start with perfecting their email strategy inside the platform and using the analytical tools (dashboards) in conjunction with this to see what is working most effectively. From there, once opportunities arise, become familiar with the Sales pipeline and continue to use the analytical tools to help manage your deals as well. I would recommend tracking the reasons that you have won or lost certain deals.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation has really allowed us to cut down on our time wasted doing back end administrative tasks. It has given us more time to really connect with those we're reaching!
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization is very people-focused, and HubSpot is definitely more geared towards mass marketing and customer service. A lot of it still works very well for us, but there are definitely some features lacking that would make it more peopleioriented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Truly the biggest problem we have solved is automation and integration. Our old system had almost no automation and could not integrate with other apps, and we didn't even realize how much time that was costing us until it was no longer a barrier!

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is easy to navigate and track ongoing sales responsibilities. I can easily identify the right people I need to reach out to and ensure that I'm following up at the appropriate times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much frustrates me about HubSpot. The only things I don't have access to are still available in HubSpot via a more feature-rich subscription which we just have not signed up for yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking leads, identifying opportunities, storing information and data on prospects to allow our team to better segment the market and identify trends, building campaigns around specific data points

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very easy to use. The support team has been helpful with helping us set up sequences and answering any questions we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
SalesForce Integration can use some improvement

Sales agents take too long to send out emails manually. This frees up a lot of time for our teams to prospect.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me stay organized and on track. The way you can schedule a follow-up task is so seamless. Enrolling sequences couldn't be better to touch your prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not in my opinion Hubspot is constantly improving and changing the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a more consistent approach to touching customers has increased my sales numbers by 50% year over year.

Hubspot is great for a marketing driven sales approach

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot has useful tools for creating drip campaigns, automating email outreach, and it allows you to track your campaigns' success. If you have a marketing driven approach to sales it can be effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not set up as well for more traditional cold calling, and it can be difficult to track where your clients are at in the sales funnel. If you are doing larger enterprise sales, it can be less effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted a way to have a structured day, and have activities to keep my schedule consistent. Hubspot tasks are set up really well to keep you busy and on task throughout the day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to automate your marketing it is really useful.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a person who usually has 10+ tabs open at all times. I love that Hubspot allows me to do all aspects of my work from one space without having to bounce back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like anything else, HubSpot does have a bit of a learning curve. Once you get the basics down though, the rest is a breeze. There are so many different features that it does take a little while to truly learn how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot really helps with organization. It allows you to keep a record of all communication between you/your employees and the prospect. This allows everyone to stay on the same page and know right where the communication was left off whether it is by phone, email, text, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't give up on it. It can take some time to learn but it is well worth it!

Sometimes all the information can be a little overwhelming

Keeping up with emails using the Sequence features. Having the automated tasks that can be clicked while sending out emails has proved very useful.
