HubSpot Sales Hub Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like how well HubSpot integrates with Gmail; the fact contacts are saved and tracked any time an email is sent makes life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if you could enroll an entire list in a sequence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would love to be able to edit emails without having to go into a contact, and without the email pop-up form once you're in the contact's page. The benefits are many; scheduling emails is very simple. Maybe include a "folders" option for email templates?
User-friendly, integrations available, lots of capability.
What do you like best about the product?
Sales Hub takes som of the "messyness" that can come with Sales. The system is easy to use, and input/store data, which is great for any small business looking for a CRM. My favourite feature so far is the Sales Tasks function and being able to queue my tasks for the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
To me Sales Hub's Deals function needs more work in terms of useability. It would be helpful if you could click "Associated Deals" on a contact's profile and be brought to the deal page, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While being able to see when your email is opened is great, I've noticed a flaw. Sometimes, when I open the email I just sent a prospect it counts as an open and notifies me "Contact has opened email" - majorly comprising the data (Dashboards/Analytics) that is recorded in HubSpot. I hope this gets fixed soon!
I use Sales Hub all the time (as a marketer) and my sales team loves it
What do you like best about the product?
Sales Hub is straightforward enough that my sales team (who are newer Hubspot users) can get value out of it easily, and the customization options are flexible enough that I can create really sophisticated, custom campaigns for demand gen.
The CRM tool is perfect, and managing deal flow is also very good. We're getting ready to cancel Salesforce because Hubspot meets all of our needs better and in a more user-friendly way.

What do you dislike about the product?
Once you enroll contacts in an email sequence, you can't change any of the later emails. They'll receive the sequence as it was written at the time they were enrolled. I would like the ability to change later emails.
I would also like a direct integration between Hubspot and Docsend, but there is one enabled via Zapier, so it's okay. I just don't like paying for Zapier.

By far the feature I use the most is email sequences.
Using sequences helped us with a low email deliverability issue we were having. The sequence tool sends emails directly from one's own email provider (rather than a third-party email server), which means your email deliverability is higher and sales reps have the ability to check on threads from their email outbox. You can also customize these emails with tags, and prospects who respond are auto-unenrolled so you can carry on an organic dialogue.
I've also switched my sales team from using Salesforce to using Hubspot almost exclusively because the deal tracking feature is so much easier to use.
One other huge advantage that Hubspot has over Salesforce is the contact record (or company record, or deal record). Hubspot aggregates a feed on each type of record so you can see the complete history of that person, company, or deal - including website visits, email engagement, ad engagementm you name it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have the resources for an in-house Salesforce admin/developer or data steward type person, get Hubspot.
If you need crazy customization and there's no way you can do business unless your CRM is custom, maybe Salesforce is warranted. But I think Salesforce is no longer the de facto CRM, and Hubspot is better in many ways.

Sequence Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot Sales Hub has proven to increase my personal productivity as well as my companies. I love the easy to use platform and feel my success streamlines from how organized I stay on a day to day basis using HubSpot. We constantly learn from our daily actions and this allows us to grow and succeed in our lunges. We have intergrated using HubSpot in our day to day and it keeps our sales team on the same page as well ad more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since using HB I noticed that the built in side panel within my google email was updated since March 2020 and often time glitches. If I do not add a contact before I email them I am forced to return to the CRM page and go into contacts, type their name, and add the appropriate titles for this lead. Often times leads will add CC'd emails that I do not catch immediately and when sent an email they are saved into the HB sales system and not attributed for in terms of brand and company or status. If an email is sent prior to saving the inbound contact my side bar does not let me go back and insert their information and properly save. Other than that small glitch, I personally have no major dislikes about HubSpot, but I must say it is very important that your entire team/company is well trained and organized so that leads are constantly updated and we as a whole can use the data to our advantage as well as help us understand leads and redefine our outreach based on metrics acquired such as within sequences and overall reply rates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Sales Hub allows me to easily enroll my leads into the appropriate sequences, that automate my follow ups for that lead. On average I send approximately 20 emails daily to new business on editorial opportunities. The sequence function allows me to get ahead of the game by creating a sequence and enrolling multiple leads at once, breaking them up so I can quickly personalize my emails and send immediately. I absolutely love how HB will send my follow up for me if the lead does not respond. It allows me to focus on other more pressing tasks during my workday. I also like to see how my sequences are doing and from that information, I can learn and see what is and what is not working for my outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend HubSpot for those considering using a Sales Hub. This lays out everything you need from head to toe to be successful. You can easily stay on task by setting reminders to being aware of your outreach and avoiding stepping on your colleagues toes! With every closed won our company can now clearly see what interactions created that relationship to replicate for future clients.
Hubspot has made me electric
What do you like best about the product?
Sequences. The ease of sequences saves me the more time than I can count. I ask prospects the same questions and send much of the same information constantly. Even if the content is different, I can create as many sequences as I want and edit them on a case by case basis which allows me to get 4 tasks on any one client with one task rather than having to revisit four different times on four different days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the navigation is a little tricky, especially if you're used to Salesforce, but it's not awful. They do several navigation things better. The reports I ran in Salesforce were also much easier than in Hubspot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I live in tasks that are associated with contacts and accounts. It is far easier to associate ALL activity on one account in one place from sales to service. That part has been amazing to have all the info in one spot.
What a FANTASTIC CRM!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of it. Everything you do is so easy, if for some reason you don't know how to do something, their academy is there to help! I love how easy is to follow up with people and they even provide tips while you are making your email. Once you set up everything it allows the sales team to run smoothly. A fantastic tool for every one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't highlight anything as I find they have done an excellent job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am helping customers reach their goal to sign up with us. Sometimes they aren't ready, but with the sales cycle it creates automated tasks, which make it easier. The improvement they have made to click on the task and take off on the queue, it is simplicity at its best!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't think it anymore, GO FOR IT! This will change the way you do business.
Time Saver and a great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with colleagues in running common campaigns. Avoid duplicate emails to customers. Easy setup of automated follow up sequences.
Compared to other CRMs Hubspot is much more intuitive and easy to work with. There are several integrations with other datasets we use often
The sales analytics platform is good but a little complicated to set up. Since we also use Salesforce, it depends on the integration between the two.

What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to see who clicked or opened a sequence after the sequence has been executed. There is not even a workaround. The only way it works is to manually go through each contact which defeats the purpose of a platform such as Hubspot.
Lack of integration between the various tools. For example lists and sequences are not integrated seamlessly. It took us a collective 50 hours to understand it and make it work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this to reach out to a large number of leads during the COVID times to provide them with the latest service our company can offer them.
It is necessary to follow up with customers multiple times before they respond. The sequence feature is really cool in setting up various types of follow up templates and the platform executes them seamlessly.
We also use it as our sales analytics and reporting platform given its rich visualization features.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small based on your organizational requirements and capabilities and scale up. There are a lot of cool features but trying to get everything up and running on day one is a challenge.

Hubspot Fuels Our Account and Partnership Management Efforts
What do you like best about the product?
I can't rave enough about the task management. My day is driven by my tasks and Hubspot makes it really easy to fly from task to task, knocking out work and setting yourself up for success. As long as I make a task for myself in Hubspot, nothing falls through the cracks.
I also love the gmail integration and how our emails are logged, by user, with our clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't forward emails from the email tool, which makes it hard when my account management team has to forward emails on to our support team. Right now, it's impossible to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot integrates with our database. So, when a new user comes online, our AM team is made aware of them immediately. We also know when users make first time purchases, cancel, etc. The flexible API and custom tasks, workflows, etc. really make our jobs easier and it brings the important data to the forefront.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The email integration is a must. Combining workflows with active lists can be really powerful to automate the repetitive parts of your job. Email sequences will save you hours.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of automation and the Queue feature that allows you to go through tasks one at a time

Inability to integrate with Justcall to send multiple texts (or automatically send texts as part of a Sequence)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to stay on top of all my open tasks and really stay accountable. The interface makes it very easy to stay on task and focused and minimizes distractions.
