HubSpot makes my job easier

  • February 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sequences are my absolute favorite. Being able to proactively send emails in an automated fashion helps free up my day.
I also enjoy how easy it is to manage the deals that are in HubSpot. I can quickly adjust a deal stage and add notes to support the movement.
I like the integrations that come with HubSpot. I use another tool called Seamless.ai to get email address and HubSpot's compatibility with Seamless makes it easy for me to be able to add contacts and companies.
We use HubSpot as our website CMS platform as well and that has been great! It's easy to make page updates or additions without having to be a tenured web developer.
I also like that I can make a phone call via HubSpot and it will link to my desk phone and track the call in the CRM platform. That makes it easier for my teammates to go back and listen to a phone call that I had with a prospect.
Being able to build out marketing campaigns easily is also a great feature.
I like that I no longer have to use a third party program for social media management either. We used to use co-schedule for our social but now with HubSpot we can keep all of that in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting can be confusing. There is so much and I feel like I don't leverage it like I should because of the overwhelming nature.
I'm not a huge fan of the fact that every email that I receive from a contact that is associated with deal gets tracked to that deal as well. Sometimes I may be speaking to a contact about something unrelated to a specific deal and that just adds noise to the deal activity in HubSpot. To be able to turn that on or off would be nice.
Also, it would be great if when I move a deal to closed lost, that I could somehow archive it instead of having it continue to live in my deal stages. I don't want to delete the opportunity, but archiving it would be nice.
I'm not a huge fan of having contact number restrictions. For our plan, I think we have 3,000 contacts that we can use, but because of the aggressive outbound research we are doing it would be nice to have more contacts that we can add. Maybe even an unlimited policy without a crazy price tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the challenge of outbound prospecting through HubSpot. The benefit of being able to create a sequence with a level of customization/personalization at scale continues to be a game changer.

Our biggest challenge with a lean business development team is to be able to prospect and build content at scale. Having HubSpot has allowed us to do more of that. We have a lot of learning to do yet with the platform, but it's been a great tool for us so far.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's certainly worth the investment! Take the time to go through the training and get your HubSpot certifications. It makes it easier to understand and navigate the platform...and looks good for your LinkedIn profile too!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The cross-functionality between all sales and marketing tasks make collaborating in a small team seamless. This was my first time using a CRM in my daily workflow, and its' ease has made my job substantially easier. I can manage all sales and marketing tasks easily through my dashboard, and monitor new employees progression as they work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the interface between contacts and companies; unable to filter companies and then have the option to see all contacts associated with those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow efficiencies, sales tracking, marketing tasks. Everything is in one place and easily accessible across departments.

Business Use

  • February 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps track of phone calls made and emails sent. Everything is all in the same place and I can see who my coworkers have reached out to. I can add tasks and notes along with the contacts to make it easier to have everything in the same place.I also like that I am able to make sequences and share them with other teammates. The sequences makes it easier for me to reach out to more people and space out my outreach to them so they always have me on mind. I am also able to link in my calendar so they can schedule a meeting right from the email that I send the.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires you to put email and phone number in for contacts. There can be multiple companies that are really the same, but it is difficult to combine them into the same company. When importing high school contacts, if the website is a district wide email, all the contacts go under the same company even though they are different. Sometimes I feel it doesn't always count up all of the meetings that I actually have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits: it's easier to keep track of my weekly numbers. I also get task reminders which is great. Because I work in sales, everything is a competition. Hubspot keeps me responsible for my numbers and encourages to make more calls and send more emails based on what everyone else is doing. I want to be the top rep in my company and Hubspot makes it easy for me to hit my goals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely beneficial for sales. You are able to have everything in one place.

Incredible experience!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to log meeting details and then have the system automatically track the last check-in date has been immensely helpful. The ability to mark out tasks within the CRM has also made my goal of completing all client requests/feedback implementation get done in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now I do not have any major complaints about the Hubspot CRM. The only complaint I do have is that sometimes the system tends to lag when I try to edit the filters in my deals tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, Efficiency, having the ability to follow-up with clients that I have not checked in with in a while has made the proactive part of my job much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Calling Ques are one of my favorite features from a sales efficiency standpoint
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't reorder task ques anymore. The reporting isn't quite up to Salesforce and there aren't any significant or good telephone integrations or integrations with outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency and tracking

HubSpot CRM - Comprehensive Customer Interaction with Minimal Investment & Effort

  • February 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is a very well designed platform. Contacts, Companies, Opportunities and Activity ( tasks, email, phone, meetings) are comprehensively tracked with little additional user effort. This creates and maintains a very complete record of customer interaction in one single place. It is also simple to configure and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any product, there are issues; in the HubSpot case, they are very minor. For example, it would be nice to have more control of the auto-population of task titles when importing contacts by using the existing tokens provided in templating. Also, when exporting the productivity report, it would be nice to have all the details for each activity such as customer, company, related deal, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to track contacts through the sales funnel from leads to opportunities to revenue. It is a significant productivity gain by automating interaction logging and deal tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Leverage templates and sequences for sales automation

I love HubSpot!

  • February 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you get full access to HubSpot Academy - that's incredible. Also, the ease of use. I used Salesforce at my previous job and HubSpot looked like alien language to me at first but it was super quick for me to learn and pick it up. I really enjoy the fact that so many other things integrate into HubSpot. It's very helpful for me that it connects to Gmail so I can see when people have opened and clicked on my emails. I like that I can call prospects/leads directly in HubSpot through our Aircall integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks that are kind of annoying, like unneeded steps to do certain things. Other than that, I have no real complaints. I don't like how confusing creating sequences can be and saving them. There's a weird disconnect between the "creating new template" and "save existing template" when creating sequences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice to be able to use email sequences so I don't have to manually send out every single email myself. I also really enjoy that everything is in HubSpot that I need & I don't have to use multiple programs. It's also really nice that HubSpot links and connects to everything as well. It's made everything very streamlined for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is a fantastic software that allows you to nurture your contacts/leads as well as keeping them organized all in one spot. It's also pretty amazing that it integrates with so many other software out there. I definitely recommend HubSpot if you need kind of an all-in-one platform to keep your company organized. Also, it's a fantastic resource for learning. There are tons of different and relevant courses in HubSpot Academy and they're easy to complete!
