Tight git integration and Multidev simplify branching feature development

What do you dislike about the product?

User interface is not always intuitive and some simple tasks require technical implementation

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

At our prior hosting provider we had issues with security, performance, and codebase versioning. Pantheon offers good performance, very strong security, and excellent environment management.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Pantheon's ease of use, which really makes things more efficient and effective for our development team. Its reliability and built-in security are also big pluses, as they make us feel comfortable using Pantheon for all of our clients' needs. Comparing it to setting up servers on AWS or other platforms, it takes a lot less time and results in a lot less investment for our clients. Additionally, I find the onboarding process to be very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pantheon makes our developers more efficient and effective, supporting multiple environments. Its ease of use, reliability, and built-in security make us feel comfortable hosting all our clients' websites.

What do you like best about the product?

Interface is nice and easy to manage and plugin based services easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

The customer support some time wait not quick response.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Some time issue not trackable on site log that time pantheom support to provide server log which is help to fix the issue.

What do you like best about the product?

The customer service is fantastic, and the hosting is flawless.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't see any downsides. It's a bit expensive, but entirely worth it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pantheon hosts all our client websites, making updates and changes easy on us and our clients.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy integration with workflows, and the natural staging from dev to test to live. The ability to create multidevs for testing branched work is great. Pantheon's support has always be quick and useful. And the support for delegating control, so that the site owner doesn't have to do all the security/team assignment/technical configuration is helpful. The downstream support for Drupal updates is great, and the inside knowledge that the Pantheon team has for Drupal, especially with regard to security and potential exploits, is life saving.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some aspects of the dashboard are a bit clunky.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Excellent uptime and performance are primary, of course. Automatic backups and site status information are helpful. Their integration into the Drupal security team is critical. Pantheon's support of the Drupal community is a nice bonus.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that every site comes with separate development, testing, and live environments, making it easy to push updates safely. Automatic daily backups, one-click restores, and easy cloning of environments is also a plus

What do you dislike about the product?

Pantheon can be expensive once you move beyond the free dev plan.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The platform enables us to host WordPress sites and provides dedicated environments for testing, development, and staging.

What do you like best about the product?

The upsides are it's very straightforward, multi site or multi environment (Dev, Test, Live) it great for testing and workflow. Set up is easy to use if you know what you are doing. Customer support is pretty quick.

What do you dislike about the product?

I haven't really found anything other than price that I dislike about it. But you get what you pay for.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Multi dev environments and workflow.

Used for Workflow, and like its speed and performance, it allows many developers to work seamlessly, and it also works well with CI/CD and modern dev tools.

It's expensive compared to traditional hosting providers, and each workflow is unique, so it takes time to adjust.

What do you like best about the product?

Pantheon’s uptime and speed are very reliable compared to other hosting I’ve used.

What do you dislike about the product?

The pricing is on the higher side, especially if you’re working with smaller projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pantheon saves me from worrying about server setup and maintenance. I don’t have to deal with downtime or performance issues, which lets me focus on building and improving websites.

What do you like best about the product?

Drupal websites performing well on Pantheon under the Basic plan.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not exactly a dislike but it would be nice if Solr search were included in the Basic plan as the Drupal's built-in search performs really poorly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Provides Dev, Test and Live environments to manage database and code changes easily and intuitively. As a result DevOps issues have been reduced compared to our prior solution.
