Most user friendly ERP system
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve worked in SAP and Oracle prior to working in Intacct. Both systems were clunky and hard to use and not intuitive for the user. Intacct is the exact opposite. It’s easy to use and train new users. Super clean platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upload feature can be tricky. If your JE gets kicked out you receive an email but it’s not always clear what is wrong. I also do not like the credit card management system. We upload 5k transactions a month and they are all individual. It’s hard to find the right one if we have to go in and edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Intacct for our entire accounting software. It stores our GL, AP, CC, and cash management data. It’s very easy to use in comparison to other ERP systems I’ve used in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
the best thing that I like about this tool is that it's very easy to use and it's a single platform where we can easily track all our historic, current and expected cost and revenue of the projects
What do you dislike about the product?
the worse thing for me would be report extracting becasue if I need a detailed report of multiple projects in a single report then it will be very difficult for me to extract.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the poblems that i am solving with this tool and the benifits that i have realized are that if I want I can do forcast, billings etc. with very minimum effort as compared to other tools
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool to all the users as I really like the tool and find it very user-friendly. I personally use this tool to track all My project financials and it's truly a single platform where we can also store all our project documents. Automation is the best feature with the help of which u can save a lot of your time and effort. If I need my billing information at any time related to any of my projects I can extract the report and provide it to the stakeholders and the same goes for cost as well. the other best feature is forecasting, the finance team can get an idea that how much we can earn from the particular project. I really like this tool and will recommend it to other users as well.
THE BEST ACCOUNTING TOOL
What do you like best about the product?
I have used different tools over the years, and my favorite is Sage Intacct is very easy to understand is accurate, and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing that can be better is receiving an approval notification to the email when something needs urgent approval.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Accounts Payable, Intacct covers a remarkable 97% of characteristics. This gives Intacct Corp's software a notable upper hand over other software, which support an average 82% of functionalities for this module. Intacct is a viable option in the Accounts Payable module. However, it is not the best performer. The top competitor offers 100% coverage in this module.

I'm obsessed!
What do you like best about the product?
This is the most adaptable accounting software I have ever used! Over my 25 years of accounting experience, I've used a variety of software. All had something that wasn't quite right. But I love Sage Intacct! It by far supersedes all others!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are very customizable, but I would like to see more ability to add some variety in color, background, etc. There are improvements happing all the time, and I look forward to seeing what is in store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization grew rapidly. Formerly, there was basically one person handling accounting for the organization without much input or ownership by the division heads. Now, with the advanced workflows, dashboards, and automatic reporting, we have division managers taking ownership of their budgets. This is adding to their ability to provide strategic input into planning and review for their division.

Can be clunky and notbuser friendly in not a seasoned user.
It is very difficult to rectify the error as this software makes it difficult to go back and change the number.

There are few modules such as prepaids,fixed assets anf purchasing that we had purchased after the initial implementation of intacct that did not work very well initially.There were many work account and technical problems that created alot of unneeded headache s and works.Fortunately in my organization this has been very well fixed now for the most parts and works.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, depth of functionality in many areas, speed of implementation, integration, available marketplace add-on products already integrated. Really good for multi-entity environment, professional services, software, healthcare.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic reporting is a little weak, although that is typical for most ERP systems. The advanced reporting is good, but requires additional cost. Per user cost is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a technology services firm, so we use Sage Intacct for project tracking and time entry. It's good to have visibility to project costs and budget in real time. It's very easy to view project status and generate invoices for projects as well. The results are projects that stay on budget or awareness of the overage sooner and faster invoicing resulting in better cash flow.

I wouldn't say I like that I did not get to stay longer at Sage Transform.

What do you like best about the product?
General Ledger and reporting with multiple entities. Implement an approval process for purchasing. Reduce paperwork by using attachments, and utilize a third-party budgeting tool that integrates seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
To create a sales order, you must have a business license, and to create a purchase order, you only need an employee license, even though the processes are similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we appreciate the bank reconciliation process, we are addressing some challenges with the new bank reconciliation process. Going paperless has resulted in significant savings. Using attachments to the documents allows for quicker viewing of items.
