I have problems utilizing the multi company features. It often makes our AP Ledger out of balance as well as puts balances into different clearing accounts which we have to clear out manually every month. You need to have more reference guides and support in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving how to make month end processing as streamlined as possible as well as completing daily general ledger reconciliation. We can upload journal entries quickly as well as see multiple reports and data in a variety of different formats. We have found a very intelligent accounting solution which meets our needs.

Be sure to utilize all the different personalization features. Spend time using the Support Community and taking courses on how to use the different features in Sage Intaact as well as utilizing the helpful reference sheets that are available.
Easy to use and Powerful ERP for my company
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is very intuitive and easy to use with very little training curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fixed asset module could use an overhaul as it looks like it was added in to the software at some point in time. Doesn't seem as integrated as the other modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to write new reports to provide more financial insight in our business. I am still learning the new custom report writer which I hope will add even more benefits.

Be sure to review all the partner companies and options they can provide in addition to Intacct itself.

I like how it is very User-friendly, my company is able to better streamline our accounting processes because of it and how I can manage Projects/Vendors/Charts of Accounts, as well as Bills all in one place.

Excellent Product and great value for the money spent on it. Truly saves you time and your Employees time and allows you to spend time on other things that needs to get done when you have the right systems in place. I highly recommend Intacct to everyone that does Accounting, it is better than any other Accounting tool that I have previously used before and there are a ton out there and this one outshines them all.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very helpful and easy to navigate. The sections for audit trail is actually my favorite because it greatly affects someone’s information. Also, you can customize the layout and is very user friendly.

Ehhhhh I can’t say that I have anything for this section - ask me in 3 months

I can’t answer this except to say it’s tremendously helpful with our timekeeping and expense reimbursements

Sage Intacct provides a complete way of managing both the accounts of the customers and the accounts of the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct provides and easy way to access all the payment information needed, nothing to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounts Payable, Bills, and Receivables are all managed and kept in a safe and easy to use environment. This has helped ease the conversations of money with customers. Quick and Easy access.

Intacct condenses all of the information needed to find the current bills, refunds, and balances of customers in a simply and easy format. It saves times as you can even bookmark exactly where you need to go within the system itself. It is very easy to use and does not take long to learn the software, how it works, and where to quickly find the information you and your customers need.
It was the affordable solution we were looking for at a time when we need it the most.
What do you like best about the product?
We have multiple entities and therefore have to prepare consolidations, prior to Intacct we were using QuickBooks which means we were having to do a lot of manual preparation in order to provide consolidations. Sage Intacct provided the solution we were looking for from both a pricing and system perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would have liked to have a better understanding of the implementation process, we eventually engaged one of Intaccts partners to help us with implementation after we had gone through the process with one of Intaccts project managers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to automate the AP process, invoices are sent to Yooz data management service, then sent to Intacct for processing and then sent to AMEX for check delivery, this has helped us really streamline the AP process.

Compare Sage Intacct to other systems, kick the tires and make sure it's the right fit for your organization, I believe you'll find regardless of the size of your organization Sage Intacct has the right solutions.
Best Cloud Based Accounting System
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct is very easy to use. There is nothing you can do in the software that can't be undone. It has allowed us to do the accounting of multiple entities, all with different business models and operations. Anytime we start a new business we are able to create an entity and chart of accounts quickly and seamlessly. The customer service team is team is one of the best I have ever worked with, they are always quick to respond and help get to the bottom of any issue as quickly as possible. We have had very few issues, and any issue we do have does not prohibit us from completing our work, its usually just a minor inconvenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any issues I have had with the software is usually due to a third party plug-in. Intacct is always quick to help, even it if there is not an issue specifically related to their software. I do not have anything I dislike about Sage Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct has given us the ability to have a lean accounting staff, work from anywhere, and know that there are so many different ways you can use the solution. They partner with so many different software solutions, that you can have everything plug directly in to Intacct and it helps minimize the amount of manual work necessary to complete everyday tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct does so much more than you can even imagine. There are ways to use the software innovatively, that is something that isn't necessarily marketed. If you are wondering if the software can do it, the best thing I recommend is to try it out or ask the question.
Intacct is logical, intuitive, and easy to pick up
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it makes so much accounting sense. You don't need to know how to work your way around the system, you just need to understand accounting and GAAP due to the accounting friendly UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in its scalability and customization, but that's ok for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is very little learning curve, I was able to pick it up without much special training. This allowed me to start doing my job faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely look into this - make sure it fits the scale of your business, and if it does, get it. Great cloud- based option that is super easy to use as compared to other, similarly sized cloud-based options. I wish I'd had time to learn more about customization options.
