Love Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
Customizable and scalable, secure access from anywhere
What do you dislike about the product?
credit card import process and inability to reclassify charge card transactions after reconciliation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cloud based is awesome. Customizable reports have allowed us great insight and audit trail is awesome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
take time to choose your implementation consultant and make it work for you. It can do anything you need it to do.

User friendly, visually appealing, and the reporting is fantastic!

Intacct has a few system inabilities but they are always working on improvement

Efficiency and transparency! Dashboards are great and we send them across all departments.

The reports are excellent in Intacct.

The Vendor set up is very limiting. I would like to be able to take a vendor that was set up at one location and expand it to the top level. Would also like to be able to combine several vendors if users create a duplicate.

Very easy to compare the different locations and their spending.
A Complete Cloud Accounting System
What do you like best about the product?
We've not found a single accounting task that couldn't be accomplished using Sage Intacct.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We make extensive use of custom dimensions to slice and dice our income and expenses. This has saved us a huge amount of time producing custom spreadsheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it's in your price range, be sure to consider it.
Good uncomplicated system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the organization and the ability to customize to your preference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you cannot have it running in two tabs at once, makes multitasking difficult. I also dislike that you cannot export reports into an existing excel file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly run reports and find the information I am looking for easily and quickly
First Class Product
What do you like best about the product?
Easy software, robust system that can be customized to our specific needs. Once you set key metrics you'd like to keep track of, it's easy to find those metrics and have managers see them as well. Integrated with our other software that makes our invoicing process seamless and reduced the dual entry tasks that we had to do before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price for someone to be able to do basic data inputting is a little steep. Especially when we really only need them to be in a small portion of the system but have to pay the full price as all other users. It is something we have come to terms with but it would be nice to have a better hierarchy of pricing based on the amount of work someone is actually doing in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better visibility into all aspects of our accounting and finances. The benefits of being able to access my key financial numbers from anywhere in the world as long as I have wifi has been a major benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it checks all of your boxes but if it does check all of your boxes, it will do a great job for you. The system is super easy to learn and can give you a lot of insight into your business.
Construction Software at its best!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage software is self explanatory and very user friendly. The latest version is the best so far, and I’m a user since Timberline Medallion back in the day!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all variables are available for creating and locating reports for researching certain transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We process financial statements and the creation of templates that we have created using sage are very appealing and self-explanatory.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very user friendly and self-explanatory. It does not require rocket science to successfully operate this software.
Easy to use and easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user-friendly and easy to navigate to figure out how to get the information needed. Reporting is excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tricky to set up dimension reporting - you need to make sure it is set up properly; it is not too bad once you have done it a few times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advanced reporting and automation of tasks not available with QuickBooks; flexibility with growth and ease to add needed dimensions.

Intacct - Best-in-Class ERP System
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability to run reports by dimensions. This allows us to be more proactive in our business rather than being reactive. Now we can see profitability by customer, department or location.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not too much to dislike about Intacct, only feature that we wish were available. Fortunately, the Intacct team is constantly improving the system based on customer feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Intacct, we were able to reduce the number of GLs that we had in our legacy system. This has helped us structure a closing workflow and now our monthly close is done in less than 10 days.
Tremendous value and unlimited potential
What do you like best about the product?
Our company has seen some amazing efficiency improvements with Sage Intacct - everything from cash postings, reconciliations, to using the purchasing module to approve and process invoices. We compared Sage Intacct to all the peer competitors and it is by far the best value, especially using the very inexpensive Employee licenses for items such as Dashboards. Another thing we like best is that we can make any needed changes ourselves - no need for outside consultants or programmers.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Sage Intacct, if you can think of it, the application can make it happen - so our only limitations is our own time to implement new ideas and efficiencies. Another plus is that this application will continue to evolve in the future and it will be exciting to see what is in store.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sage Intacct Dashboards to communicate financial results to our many locations in different states. Our internal communication has been greatly improved due to these Dashboards. We were also able to drop an outside Accounts Payable program and use the in-application purchasing module to process virtually thousands of invoices each month.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is important to understand if you can adapt and update your accounting application yourself, without using an outside programmer. With Sage Intacct, once you are set up, you can handle virtually all changes or improvements yourself.
