What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. Easy to manipulate custom reports, dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty of contacting customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of month end close. Dashboards for sharing information in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use a good implementer to get set up. Getting set up correctly, with all of the dimensions is critical to success in using the software.

Great Solution

What do you like best about the product?
It's a web based very secure system, great multi-dimensional reporting, you can easily write any type of internal reporting needed, the project module is great, easy to use and Intacct support are very responsive & resolve issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are great but need to add more charts
The budget module is very basic but of what I heard in the last conference there will be some improvements coming up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-dimensional reporting (by client, location, department, project...etc)

The main benefit we realized is efficiency and my team started focusing more on what adds value to the business instead of wasting most of their time running different reports on excel sheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product especially if you are in service industry. It made our life much easier.

Overall great accounting software for any size company

What do you like best about the product?
This accounting software can be highly customized to your companies needs. From custom reporting to special email templates to custom invoice/statements. I like the automation of my monthly invoices and the batch process to send them all out at once. Our company requires very detailed reports for different departments and technologies and we were able to get all the information we needed. I really like that we can upload our Amex entry to AP right from Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like to have a customer/vendor dashboard where I can see all the activity in one screen. I like to be able to see when exactly a payment was made or invoice/credit generated. I would also like to make simple adjustments right on the screen when a customer makes a payment instead of going to another window, not very efficient. Some of the reporting doesn't let you drill down to find the exact source of the entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the detailed reporting we are now able to provide reports to each of the department manager so they can see how they are performing and provide feedback. We are saving a lot of time because of some of the automation this software provides which is a huge bonus for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Users have to be prepared to spend more money, be ready for change and to be able to train and use the software to their advantage

Very User Friendly Accounting Software

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the fact that the software had 'live' help in the sense that it provided user classes as well as very good customer support when you ran into an issue (where they actually tell you how to resolve the problem as opposed to just doing it for you).
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I never ran into anything too terribly bad with my use of it - as I mentioned earlier, any mistakes that I made (even larger scale ones) had been easily resolved with explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used this software for all AP invoice uploads and the cutting of checks - it was my first exposure to actually doing a check run and, from what I had experienced, made the process fairly painless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They offer "live" online tutorials as well as have outstanding customer service, so any question (small or large) I would highly recommend reaching out to them with for further assistance.

What do you like best about the product?
Great organization! I like that I am able to get a birds eye view of the financial status of projects. Makes for better understanding. I am also able to get the details of all of the records logged in an easier way. It has been so helpful. Thanks guys!
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes time upon logging in. It might be confusing sometimes when your currency is not available on the drop-down menu, so I always have to kind of keep in mind that I am dealing with a different currency than I have on my screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed of Analysis. I am better able to collate and synchronize customer data faster with the help of Sage Intacct. Revenue management has never been easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really helpful for making key financial decisions. Great structure too!

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct has outstanding dimensional structure and logical, clear navigation of operation. It is well-designed for the seasoned accountant to the members of management that may come from non-business backgrounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was free to all? There a few reporting structures that get a bit complicated to create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous system was not cloud-based contributing to technical reliability issues ... problem solved. The previous system had limitations in dimensional accounting and poor reporting capabilities ... problems solved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sage Intacct fit perfectly with our increasing complexity and growth in size and scope.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate other applications with this software
What do you dislike about the product?
$800 a class. You have to pay each time you take the web class. It's a lot for a Non-Profit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timely closing and preparation of P&Ls for 9 entities under our one umbrella
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As compared to QuickBooks, Sage is an excellent choice. We have saved manpower and continue to learn ways to improve our processes which Sage is capable of handling.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed getting the opportunity to learn and network with other Intacct users and professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it would have been more beneficial to have the actual classes start on Monday or Tuesday since there were so many good classes, it was hard to schedule all the classes I wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Sage Intacct to service are clients on the cloud. Intacct has a variety of accounting modules which allow us to service many clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the Intacct community and learning center. There is a wealth of information.

The bank rec module is clumsy, but was addressed in the next release due out Nov 2018

Tracking funds in a not for profit. Automated approvals for our cash disbursements
