Intuitive Software
What do you like best about the product?
Even with all the reporting capabilities, Sage Intacct was very easy to learn. The steps for completing each portion of the accounting cycle are straightforward and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 1099 reporting is not the best. If someone loses a check or has to have a payment made twice, there are several steps needed in order to remove it from the 1099 for reporting to the government.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple location (entity) accounting all consolidated under one parent location. Previously most journal entries were determined by hand/excel but now it is more automated.
Sage Intacct does everything it needs to for the typical employee.
What do you like best about the product?
The overall simplicity, ease of use, and accessibility options are what I like best about Sage Intacct.
What could be improved is to have a shortcuts button on the homepage to go directly to pages you visit often.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I like Sage Intacct and don't have many criticism on the finance/billing software itself but a nice quality of life change would be to add a "frequently visited page"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is solving our organization's use of billing hours down to the granularity of the hour. It allows to monitor how we charge clients, parent company, lock in PTO, etc.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is user friendly and I also enjoy the Intacct community, I can typically find what I need in there and if not I can easily create a ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would make more updates to the bank rec feature, when creating a rule it's very hard to make multiple bank items match multiple Intacct items even when marking them off myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't exactly have business problems, we just use Intacct for our accounting software.
Seamless Sage Usage
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is super user friendly and how detailed reports are. You can do a report on almost anything with this system.
What do you dislike about the product?
When wanting to duplicate a page in your browser so that you don't lose progress on an entry, it refreshes to the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it quicker to do Bank Reconciliiations, Prepare a Trial balance and settling our accounts with payables.

Efficient, TONS of info at your fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
SO MANY options for billing and reporting. VERY efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Time to process ...since its web based. Some things (like Order Entry/Email Log details) take a bit of time to process, especally when you have A LOT of lines of data that you are working with .But I guess that is normal and to be expected, right?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer invoicing, AR reporting, Month End AR Reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sage Intacct is that it is suitable for small to midsize accounting firms and can provide financial reporting and operational insights as well as the ability to automate critical financial processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct has not aat any point displayed any element that I have disliked as the team is driven by values that makes it strong, resourceful and always moves forward, staying focused on a client's success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacctis helping businesses increase operational efficiency, manage IT costs and gain valuable real-time insight into their financials to improve productivity and profitability.
a bit of a struggle getting used to after so long with another program but is easy to navagate!
What do you like best about the product?
Everything seems to be a bit easier to find then in our previous accounting program, the search areas make it way easier to find anything you may need help on! ty!
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't like when you invoice more then one line at a time/ product. Being able to alt down more effiecently when invoicing would be more time effiecent as it seems to only work when on quantity and descriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally it makes the invoicing more difficult but on the other end of things much easier! closing book/ balancing/ running reports are all way more effiecent than past programs
Great for accounting needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to upload items for submission. I also like that there are tutorial videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do have a lot of cons, however, i wish when you upload an excell it will figure out the error instead of rejecting the upload.

Intacct - The very best mid-market accounting system on the market truly designed by accountants
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct has many amazing features, but what I like most about Intacct, is that it is obvious that accountants were very involved in its creation as it handles real life debit and credit transactions the way they should be handled, and you never have to worry about intercompany being out of balance. It uses what Intacct calls demensional accounting, and with these dimensions properly thought out and set up, you can slice and dice the information anyway that you can think. If you are especially in a service industry, it is the very best. I have over 5,000 hours invested in this product working for 2 different organizations and was an administrator of this product for 3 years. Love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have a ways to go to be competitive in the warehouse distribution/inventory organizations. I feel they have improved this module and functionality over the years, but still need more improvements to truly compete with some of the other mid-market solutions that have been servicing that industry for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my current position there are many different locations and entities in the organization, and the main benefit is the ease of keeping intercompany reconciled very easily across a very large organization with many different people involved in the process. Wthout Intacct, Intercompany reconciliation would be very difficult to keep balanced.
