One of the most user-friendly accounting platforms, with the right amount of capability for every level position in an accounting office.
What do you dislike about the product?
With such capabilities does come a learning come of navigation and how certain processes and modules interact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi-entity accounting solutions, by being able to have multiple companies with multiple projects and classes.
Sage Intacct for Time and Expense entry
What do you like best about the product?
The ease to navigate from section to section when entering time and expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a timer option for each client so I could track my time easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy time entry and expense entry

The ease of use, layout, format, etc. Not to mention they're always updating and taking user opinions into account.

Import error messages could be a little more straight forward.

Sage Intacct keeps everything in one place. Their integration capabiliites ensure our other platforms are speaking to eachother. They've thought of everything!

It takes a little while to understand what to do with dimensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all entities under one roof. This allows us to consolidate and do entries once that apply to multiple entities.

What do you like best about the product?
As a new user to Sage inputting data is less stressful and easier to edit line items. Once the item is approved and converted into PO electrically, the only stage the purchaser waits for is the product. Once the product is received, adding a packing slip is more manageable than 123:).
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all applications, there's always a little work to be done or missed. Adding a percentage and grant code to individual line items process is more complicated than our previous app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Approver status is less complicated now. Purchasers do not have to rely on one approver. Receiving and editing the PO is much quicker.
A step in the right direction!
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct can be accessed anywhere in the world with an internet connection - this is leagues ahead of the more traditonal on premise approach, that of which Sage 200 would give. Also, the financial reporting element of Sage Intacct is unapparelled alongside competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage intacct is hosted by Amazon AWS - This means that you have to rely on an external business if you requried a database restoration for example. This would take much longer in comparison to an on premise installation as SQL is always accessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The key problem that Sage intacct helps to resolve is visability of key financial business information, in simple, easy to view reports. These reoprts can also be scheduled on a required basis, meaning the user doesnt not need to manually run, they will simply recieve a copy of the report from intacct in an email.
Great Accounting System for Multitude of Organizations
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive system that even a non-accounting professional can use. I found it easy to pick up and build upon. I'd say its one of the best accounting systems I've used in my career.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Sage doesn't have a robust financial analytic software built in. This is easily fixed by using a third-party analysis software. I think a good improvement would be to include analysis part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage manages the entire workflow and accounting function of the finance department. From recordkeeping, AP, AR, trial balance to financial reporting, Sage does it.
Time saver Life saver
What do you like best about the product?
I love the dynamic allocations piece of Sage. It's phenomenal that something that used to take me hours now takes minutes!
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to sort my Budget list when I'm running multiple budget vs actual grant/project reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is helping me solve the project/grant budget vs actual reporting, dashboards that present relevant data and statistics, and program reporting.
Flexible, Resilient Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage gives you the ability to create reports that can fully utilize dimensions. Makes for great, very pointed reports. I am using with Non-Profit clients and it does a great job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using integrations with Bill.com and Expensify.com. The integration with Bill.com can be difficult when you need to make corrections. Overall the software is robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track expenditures to particular funding sources is critical and Sage does a great job at that. The ability to use the Employee dimension to track employees to funding is also great.
