The HackerOne Triage Team is the most helpful part of the HackerOne platform. The upsides of the HackerOne platform are that it provides an aboveboard security mechanism and reduces risk to your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful part of the HackerOne platform is the subjectiveness of scoring and payouts. The downsides of the HackerOne platform are that it can cost your organization time and money.

Our organization has many security vulnerabilities that HackerOne brings to our attention so that we can remediate them. This reduces the risk to our organization.
First time bounty program administrator
What do you like best about the product?
While I've participated in many bug bounty programs over the years, this is the first time I've ran one as the lead. The HackerOne team (Mostly Olivia, our CSM) has made it very easy for me to make this transition, from helping us with key metrics to understand how our program is doing, what we could improve to make it better, and also framing the impact the program has had to our customers and internal stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even after using it for about 2 years now, it is still hard for me to keep where everything is in my head as I find the UI confusing and not intuitively coupled. For example, where your program settings live compared to where your metrics dashboard is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us find qualified hackers to find bugs in our platform/code.

What do you dislike about the product?
While HackerOne delivers great value overall, there are some limitations in the analytics and statistics functionality that could be improved. For instance, the inability to filter data by open or closed reports makes it challenging to focus on the most relevant findings. Additionally, severity levels like none, low, and medium are grouped together, which makes it harder to analyze trends or prioritize based on specific severity tiers.
The analytics interface itself could benefit from a more streamlined and user-friendly design. It sometimes feels cluttered, making it less intuitive to navigate and extract actionable insights. Enhancing these aspects would make the analytics feature significantly more effective for tracking and optimizing our security performance.

Easy Bug Bounty program hosting :)
HackerOne makes managing BugBounty program a blast
What do you like best about the product?
I would say the ease of use of setting up the Jira Integration as well as other tool integrations to set our entire workflow up to having the findings meet where the teams work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say my biggest dislike would be not having the ability to control asset tiers more natively in our complex programs world we prefer to group by importance and have assets in various groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have be able to quantify and act on more exploitable scenarios then we would have ever had been before.
An incredible platform
What do you like best about the product?
An easy to deploy platform for handling, discovering bugs and vunerabilities from submission to completion. A great community of ethical hackers willing to help us improve our security and us being able to reward them for doing so.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Zapier API integration capabilities are somewhat limited and would be useful to have more options for webhooks/alerting with 3rd party systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's provided with a trusted space to seek contributions and discoveries from reputable ethical hackers and technology professionals, to elimitate any vunerabilities/bugs which enhances our platform overall.

The H1 triage team has saved my team a lot of time. They’re thorough, reliable, and always ready to assist when needed.
On top of that, HackerOne’s pricing is very competitive, especially for existing customers who want to upgrade their capabilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
When our account manager changed, we went through a couple of months where support felt a bit lacking on this area. The triage team kept everything on track, but the transition could have been handled more smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us identify and address security vulnerabilities efficiently, keeping costs under control.
HackerOne saves us time by separating the wheat from the chaff
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to setup and manage, and backed by a great customer support team.
For sensitive projects, it's also nice that we can handpick our hackers.

What do you dislike about the product?
The H1 Triage team can be a bit inconsistent at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The H1 Triage team reduce our workload by dealing with the many duplicates / out of scope reports.
Historically, we also had issues where hackers would find bugs and report them to whatever mailbox they could find. Often these would take a lot of time before they reached the right people internally.
The HackerOne Platform offers hackers a clear place to report bugs to, ensuring they are received and handled more quickly.
