I would much prefer the development team focus on improving basic, fundamental functions like better search filters, more accurate course recommendations, and smoother video playback instead of constantly pushing new AI gimmicks that nobody needs.

It solves the problem of keeping teams up to date with rapidly changing industry skills. Instead of relying on expensive external bootcamps or slow internal training, you can instantly assign relevant courses to employees. And reduce time to proficiency.

Maybe the course fee is a bit high for me (ASEAN area). Also, since it’s recorded video lessons, it lacks direct interaction with the trainer. For me, it feels more like one-way learning with fewer ways to learn overall—mostly just listening and practicing.

I really liked how accessible the videos made stuff that I was scared about. The teacher I had was phenomenal. I really understood the information after completing the class. Thanks, Udemy!

I don’t actually know of any downside. lol. It was so helpful to me. Maybe it was just the instructor of the classes I chose. I guess the only downside would be no live Q&A but the instructors are very responsive to the comments and questions asked therein. So. No downside?

There are some courses that aren’t available in the business catalog, and it can be difficult to get them added. Because of that, you might end up missing courses that are relevant to you.

Also, some courses sound really great on paper and have good reviews, but they’re not always worth your time. You need to be selective about which courses you take.
