Powerful with wide variety of tools!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to build workflows and backtrack and modify without starting from scratch. Powerful tools and wide variety of analytical methods. Good help resources. Free certification paths.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it's not very intuitive. Only available on Windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to easily replicate workflows in efficient ways.
Helps do what excel can't
What do you like best about the product?
Very useful in case of large datasets - excel would usually hang in case of large datasets. Useful in case the data processing is repeatable in nature - once the logic is set it's very scalable and efficient
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very useful in case of more minor data manipulations - excel is better suited for such cases. Given most users are more used to data manipulations in excel, it takes some time to get accustomed to tools available in Alteryx - but I guess that is an initial one-time investment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating workflows for data transformations that are repeatable - it is a one-time investment on the workflow, and then Alteryx can repeatedly handle super heavy data and its modifications with ease

What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is too costly for any individual, while many tools in the market can be used as an alternative to the device and are very cheap. This is the reason people do not use Alteryx as much
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem i was facing was i do not have a deep information about Syntex but i like to derive the data insights

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has a user-intuitive interface that's easy/quick to learn (but supports complex data processes). Alteryx has not only provided the ability for us to automate extremely complex data processes but is also enabling us to derive much greater insights from our data while minimizing the amount of manual workload associated with cleaning/scrubbing data. The ability to "rinse and repeat" complex data processes is saving us immeasurable amounts of time and supporting our ability to focus on higher-value work. Finally, support for the product is extremely strong (both via Alteryx as well as via other Alteryx users (through community forums, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently a limited number of individuals utilizing Alteryx within our organization. As a result, sharing of best practices, tips & tricks, etc. is currently more limited - I anticipate this to change in the near future however as word continues to get out about Alteryx

I like Alteryx to import our data sources, modify, clean and reorganize them before exporting them to another database or data warehouse.

Depending on where you put the document, loading the data can take longer than usual.
I would like Alteryx to include more up-to-date modules for the machine learning process.
It would be beneficial if the Python and R scripting and programming languages were implemented more optimally.

For beginners, the learning curve is quite steep.

The type of connectors which it supports which it supports from legacy mainframe to latest AZure cosmos db along with huge list of widgets for data transformation

Not much but may a bit of comparison of files during version control

The best thing is that there is no coding language required to use or learn the Alteryx.
It is easy to use as there is a drag and drop feature to use the software.

Alteryx is used to automate repetitive tasks and helps to solve complex supply chain problems. It is used to work for even complex workflows and has the ability to scale the ability of workflows when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
This Alteryx requires additional external API integrations. Mapping output is visually inadequate like mapping graphs and charts is a drawback for it which doesnot include many visual output options also.

This analytic tool has made sales representatives work easy when we have any questions. It is easy to learn as well. it is good at handling very large datasets and allows uses to flexibility manipulated in many ways.
