Good Integration tool
What do you like best about the product?
This was best suitable for as our data in GB's and easily connect to various databases , so we use this tool for our daily jobs .

I faced issue while trying to connect it with Cloud but now i read ne version came with cloud native support

Transformation of data like cleaning , joining and data preparation i am able to dow ith this tool and it is helping me for my daily job to medium transfromations .

The tools on alteryx are very simple and straightforward. The names and the designs are very user friendly. The UI can be navigated very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows can take longer time to run in case of larger files. Alteryx does not support notepad and word files as input files so you'll have to change the file format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx has helped me automate all my morning and EOD reports. The huge data can be consolidated and used to represent analytical information. Moreover, alteryx has been helpful in replacing Excel macros in a very efficient way.

Alteryx - Excellent for EDA purposes
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the most user-friendly tool where you don't need to write complex queries and the drag and drop options can be used to explore and manipulate the data. Also, it is very easy to connect this to different databases, spreadsheets and cloud systems - This makes the overall process implementation easy

The tool is costly for small enterprise needs which makes it difficult to get access to. Also, the tool has limited visualization features and the customer support team is not super responsive with the queries

We were being provided by couple of raw data by the clients which contained HCP level sales information for different drugs along with their account affiliations. The tool was used to merge and rollup data at account level and helped in top accounts identification
One of the Best and User friendly Data Visualisation Tool

I have used Alteryx tool on multiple occasions in my day to day life. Their are some specific clients out there who prefer Alteryx to be used for their Data Analysis and Visualisation and trust me at some point it is superior then Power BI, Tableau in Some cases and real life scenarios

To be honest it's a good product. It offer different and unique type of interface but that's not a point to be dislike. I loved the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Our goal was to create a unified report for tracking ad spend vs conversions across different channels. We used Alteryx to consolidate campaign performance data from multiple platforms. Alteryx's build-in connectors for SQL, Excel and cloud databases helped us in streamlining our work flow. No need to know complex coding as it's drag and drop interface could easily manipulate data easily.

Due to a steep learning curve, few of our team members found it hard to grasp the logic behind workflow dependencies.

Great for data blending and automation, But expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Our HR analytics team used Alteryx to automate employee attrition analysis. We had data spread across payroll and servey feedback, and before Alteryx our team manually compiled report in Excel, which was error prone and took days.I like its data blending capability from multiple sources as it combines structured and unstructured data seamlessly. Also it uses prebuild regression models to predict employee churn, without requiring advanced coding skill.

Alteryx works well for batch processing but does not support streaming data in real time.Also, connecting to social media APIs required custom scripting.

Before Alteryx, data prep was the biggest bottleneck in our analytics project. Now data cleaning, transformation and reporting are all streamlined, allowing us to focus on insights instead of manual work.
