Easy, Friendly Data Tool That Delivers Faster Results
What do you like best about the product?
It’s an easy, friendly tool and a simple way to manage data. It helps me get to results faster than any other tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the cost of the licenses. In a large corporation like the one I work for, Alteryx could be used much more and bring many more solutions if it were possible to roll it out across all areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx helps us solve a lot of problems. At the company I work for, we use Alteryx to integrate data from different financial companies that provide cash-in and cash-out information about our customers, often in different formats and layouts. We also rely on it to reconcile a large volume of data, which makes the overall process much more manageable.

data preparation, data validation and analytics are the problems that most solve for me

What do you like best about the product?
It makes it easy to do complex analytics with minimal coding skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Crashes often. Trainings are not very intuitive

Incredibly Easy to Use, Powerful for Data Management and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to use. You can start with almost zero knowledge and start picking up tricks along the way. It is a powerful tool for data management and manipulation, as well as for repetitive process automations
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very picky when it comes to formats and data types. One typo in your data will stop the entire process and error out. This is significant when non licensed users run your processes through an app or server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is a huge time-saver when it comes to repetitive reporting. It makes it much easier to gather raw data and transform it into something decision-makers can actually use, which I find invaluable.

Making excel work easier and faster. Processing out sales data every month with accuracy

Alteryx is great. It has helped me join different datasets and automate data quickly.

There is a steep learning curve but once you get used to it, it's easy!

the quickness of data manipulation - large files can be prepared quicker with this software

not always intuitive - I have data that needs certain manipulation and I am unsure what tools to use
