Alteryx makes data manipulation so easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and visual alteryx is to use. After putting in the effor to build a workflow once, using it for other datasets/ automating runs is so efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of using Alteryx is just the additional layer between getting data and bringing it into a viz tool instead of using sql queries directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me get the sales data I need - across business divisions, periods of time etc. It makes it incredibly easy to connect data sources and clean the data up - have it ready for viz

nothing to dislike about Alteryx currently

helping me not use Excel and making it easier for data preparation

THe drag and drop functionality and ability to follow your data through a flow

constantly needing to be able to run flows and the server

Auytomation and standardization
A fantastic way to automate manual excel processes and derive new insights from data.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Lower barriers to use than learning how to program. Can create workflows that can be executed over and over.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product licence is expensive and is a barrier when advocating further adoption within my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in accounting/finance. Alteryx allows me to create workflows that I can execute repetedly. If I was not using Alteryx I would have to create excel files from scratch every time I wanted to execute the process.
Awesome Program, easy to learn
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop programming, very easy to learn
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of th e tools are intuitave but once you use the online tools and/or community you see the light.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to blend 10 sources of daily data together and automate the flow so I don't have to spend valuable time processing this data each day.

Ability to blend data from different source systems, cleaning data, transforming data , creating visual reports

Location intelligence comes at a cost. Not all companies are willing to pay yet.

the price is of course a though aspect when you want to use the product at a large scale
