Alteryx has single handedly advanced my career and made me love what I do.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, fun to use, makes solving the impossible possible
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The price can seem steep, but the benefits definitely outweigh the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
inventory, manufacturing order backlog and automation of system updates, supplier performance monitoring, bill of materials blow out, product to part investigation, time and cost savingss
Great Interface Solution for Big Data
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is a great tool for people to get down and dirty with data, but may be lacking in raw coding skills. As a former sql coder, Alteryx helps me clean, manipulate, join, and analyze data at a touch of a button with ease. The ability to browse whatever you've scripted as well as learn really complex statistical concept helps me build with working knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
i would love to see more dashboarding visualization capabilities in the future!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
taxonomy governance, cleaning up data from third parties, finance
Alteryx makes my job so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The best benefit is that I can easily replace tedious tasks that I used to do in excel with an automated workforce that I only have to set up once

None that I can think of. Anytime I can't figure something out I can easily find a solution

Transforming data from messy databases and creating useful visuals
Alteryx & AI work hand in hand
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Alteryx makes data manipulation quick and easy to navigate. More and moreso I am using GenAI to accomplish my daily work tasks, I find that Alteryx is often a necessary step to use GenAI. For example, I'll often use Alteryx to clean up AI generated data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tools for Alteryx are quite detail oriented, you must make sure you pay extremely close attention to details and be aware that you use matching Alteryx versions of software, super important!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is prepping data from a constantly evolving database. I make sql queries to my database to prepare data on a daily database for a bespoke Tableau output. Alteryx makes it possible I can work with data at scale scale. This work is supporting over 60+ people benefiting from the output of the tool in the process.
Excellent learning opportunity, and recommended for all!

Saving hours of manual work on a regular basis.

There is so much to learn and apply to use cases, but that is a good thing overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating reporting that used to take days in just a few seconds

examples on how to use the diferent tolls are not rhe best. abd in some cases iver complicated for the first time ussing the tool.

There is a community to support you if you have questions when first starting. It will help to automate your processes from start to finish.

When first starting the connections can be a bit much but once you start using and learning the program the easier it becomrs.

Taking very large datasets and summarizing them in order to analyze year over year trends

The user friendly approach to data mining. Even if you aren't all that tech saavy if you know logic you can get it done

Certain tools only come in packages and not all released together

What do you like best about the product?
Coming from an excel background transitioning to a tool that allowed me to do less repetive tasks and more analytical work was a game changer for my career!

I just want more, every time i go to a.class i learn new things i whish i knew 3 or 4 work flows earlier.

Anything from file.comparisons, to competative analysis and geocoding.
