No Code Automation with Alteryx's Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Alteryx for daily ETL activities at my company. I like its no code automation, which helps me avoid writing huge scripts for data analysis. I also appreciate its connectors to different softwares, allowing me to integrate seamlessly with tools like Snowflake. The speed is impressive too; it turned a 20-minute task into a 2-minute one.
What do you dislike about the product?
FEDRAMP and data protection. Just to add a protection environment to protect PII data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx simplifies handling large Excel files and eliminates writing extensive scripts. Its no-code automation speeds up tasks, making a 20-minute task finish in 2 minutes.

The reporting tools are extremely limited. Also there is a large learning curve.

Some of the tools are cumbersome. We use box and sharepointe and there is limited functionality around these tools to make them dynamic

Endless Possibilities with User-Friendly Alteryx
What do you like best about the product?
The possibilities feel endless. As someone with limited tech experience, I’ve found that the Alteryx tool doesn’t require a technical background to get started. There are so many tools readily available, and they’re very user-friendly. I was skeptical when my company decided to have our tax team pilot Alteryx, but a year later I can confidently say it’s been one of the best tools my team has had to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m sure this is more of a user issue than a problem with the tech itself, but it’s very easy to overengineer workflows to the point that they become obsolete. I look forward to using AI to help simplify tools to meet specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx processes massive amounts of data in a short period of time. What used to take our team weeks to complete now happens in a matter of minutes. The time savings for our team are invaluable, and it has made our workflow much more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to learn and apply across a broad range of areas. Easy to make updates when needed and explain logic to teams that are unfamiliar with the software

Large data files can be slow to input into the designer workspace
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cyclical functions are automated to transform data into multiple reporting formats and merge multiple reports into on location
Intuitive No-Code Data Prep That Automates Daily Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Its really intuitive and easy to use, there's no coding necessary, and it allows for a comprehensive data prep process that automate a lot of my day to day tasks. It changed the way I work for complete, makes my life a lot easier because I can add even more value to my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the cost structure of the tool, every new package or connector changes the offer and sometimes requires new investment, that sometimes takes a long time for management to approve and it even may be denied as an additional investment. I think the cost/price is complex and is getting more complex with the consumption credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its streamlining all of my ETL processes, allowing me to focus my attention to areas where my expertise can contribute to my company.
