We use the product in our OT environment to secure IDs. We also use it for monitoring purposes.

Provides a very good vulnerability monitoring system, but the implementation is challenging
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The solution’s vulnerability monitoring system is very good. Our overall experience is very good.
What needs improvement?
We face many issues while implementing Armis in the pharma sector. Some of the customer applications are not supported well by the tool. The applications do not communicate well if we implement Armis.
We generally face such issues during implementation. We are planning to implement the product in the wind energy sector, but we don't have any idea how to do it. Currently, it is a very big challenge for us.
Products like Dragos, Claroty, and Nozomi provide a much better experience during implementation. If any issues arise, we are told how to resolve such issues during the POC. Armis does not provide the secure remote access feature Claroty provides.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for more than a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product is stable after implementation. It’s a huge competitor in the market.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The product is scalable. We have 85 users in our organization.
How are customer service and support?
The support team is very good. There are some delays sometimes, but it’s normal.
How was the initial setup?
We face issues during implementation.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The tool is cheap.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Armis is a competitor of Claroty and Nozomi. Claroty is much better than Armis. However, Armis is a good IDS tool.
What other advice do I have?
If someone is trying to implement and secure an environment related to every area in their organization, I would not recommend Armis. Some services are not provided by Armis. Using the product for the first time might be a challenge. The training available on the portal is helpful, though. It would be good to categorize the training based on the services we need.
Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
An user-friendly solution that helps to detect vulnerabilities
What is our primary use case?
I use the tool for operation technology security.
What is most valuable?
The tool is user-friendly and helps to detect vulnerabilities.
What needs improvement?
We have encountered issues with the tool's stability.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We encountered bugs two times, and the support team helped fix them. I rate it an eight out of ten.
How are customer service and support?
It's difficult to get an answer from the support team.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Neutral
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
My client wanted to use Armis. Hence, we learned and used it.
How was the initial setup?
Our network engineer completed the deployment quickly. It's doable for anyone. The process involves mirroring traffic to the automation server, which simplifies connections. It will be even easier if you have prior experience with switch configurations. Deployment for the whole infrastructure takes five months.
What other advice do I have?
I was initially involved in networking and configuration tasks for Armis, and we set up some specific use cases for our clients. I rate the overall tool a seven out of ten.
It's a good tool for our IT security. However, if they could implement AI to enhance its capabilities, it would be even better. Additionally, providing automated configurations for certain tasks would simplify our work.
