Great product. Fantastic Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
They have an amazing product but their customer support is the real selling point for me. I can get an engineer via chat within a couple minutes and they're extremely knowledgable. Without fail they help me get my problem resolved and there's never been one escalation. All companies should model their tech support on Kandji's.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I can think of. Kandji has a great product ans even better support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a team of one, it allows me to manage and secure my fleet of devices very efficiently. The console. is easy to use, and the built in CIS benchmarks save me a lot of time. They have a really nice API which I leverage for custom alerting and reports. It's a well designed product.

Perfect Solution for Managing MacBooks in Education
What do you like best about the product?
After trying multiple solutions, I finally found a software that makes managing MacBooks in our district both efficient and user-friendly: Kandji. As a tech administrator, ease of use and reliability are paramount, and Kandji delivers on both fronts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to locate the settings that need adjustment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One standout feature is its automation capabilities. Kandji can handle regular maintenance tasks automatically, from software updates to enforcing security policies, which is incredibly valuable in an educational setting with multiple devices and users. The centralized dashboard provides a clear overview of all devices, and the real-time reporting tools make tracking the status of each MacBook simple and effective.
Seamless and Reliable MDM tool for Apple Devices
What do you like best about the product?
- Supports nearly all out-of-the-box Apple MDM features in an easy to use interface.
- Has some amazing tools on top of the core offering, including Kandji Passport which has enabled us to sync our IdP passwords locally.
- Can easily configure multiple endpoint use-cases (workstations, conference rooms, etc.) with their assignment map system.
- Alert system is great as a daily user for frequent audits and checks.
- The API is well documented and allows for granular access controls, enabling our team to automate management.
- Customer support is FANTASTIC, replies within minutes and has always been able to track down the answer or solution.
- Minimal time spent configuring and implementing the tool.
- Third party integrations have been easy to set up (SSO, SCIM provisioning)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some frequent actions (assigning new configurations, changing the device user, etc.) are hidden beneath sub menus, I wish they were surfaced a bit higher in the device page.
- I wish I could fit more devices on a screen, or submit bulk changes against many devices without using the API. Currently you can only select 50 devices in a single view.

- Zero touch provisioning enables us to support a remote-first workforce.
- IdP credentials to provision and log in to workstations through Kandji Passport. Allows us to reduce known passwords and maintain security.
- Easy configuration of multiple types of endpoints (workstations, conference rooms, event machines, etc.).
- Monitoring device compliance and pushing scripts on demand.

Top notch MDM solution for managing Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to create custom configurations for devices and assign them to people based on profile attributes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for inventory management is not ideal, but it improved a lot recently with the Prism addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is allowing us to manage, configure and secure employee laptops. We are currently using only Apple products and Kandji offers an excellent admin experience focused on apple devices.

Kandji has provided us with a secure and easy to use platform to manage our estate from and the support team around Kandji are what I believe sets them apart from other vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I cannot think of something I don't like. I think I am frustrtated that I don't get more time to spend on the platfrom.

Security, asset management, builds - It really allows us to keep track of our estate and manage them efficiently.

Its super simple to use, easy to set up, and easy to integrate into an already existing ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their billing format is fairly rigid, which was hard to deal with for a smaller organization like mine.

Easily managing and deploying Macs with limited to know IT involvement.
Easy to manage, low touch solution for software update compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we don't have to haggle or remind employees to update their software to the most recent versions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be a LOT of updates across our suite of tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring all employees are running the most recent version of the software within or business suite. This allows IT and Engineering to be hands off.
