What do you like best about the product?
Automation capabilities have significantly improved workflows. The Blueprint System is effective for configuration management. Integration with Apple Ecosystem. The Customer Support team is super responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting capabilities are not as detailed or flexible as I would like, but this is a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who oversees both HR and It, Kandji has solved the problem of a complex and time-consuming device management process, freeing me up for other tasks.

A Game-Changer for Small IT Teams in Growing Businesses

  • April 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As part of a small IT team supporting a mid-to-large sized business, Kandji has proven to be one of the most valuable tools in our tech stack. It strikes the perfect balance between power and simplicity, giving us enterprise-level capabilities without the complexity or overhead that often comes with large MDM platforms.

The first thing that stands out about Kandji is its intuitive interface. It’s clean, modern, and genuinely easy to navigate, making it quick to learn and effortless to use day-to-day. Despite the simplicity, it’s packed with features that give us complete control over our Apple fleet. Whether we’re onboarding new employees, managing remote endpoints, or enforcing security policies, Kandji has allowed us to scale our support without needing to scale the team.

Device management has become almost fully automated thanks to Kandji’s zero-touch deployment, blueprints, and auto app catalogue. We can push apps, enforce settings, and apply policies consistently across all our devices with minimal manual effort. What’s more, the platform is extremely reliable—once configured, things just work. That reliability has helped us reduce our support burden and focus on more strategic tasks.

Kandji’s security features are another highlight. We can confidently enforce compliance baselines, monitor device health, and ensure our endpoints are protected without resorting to additional tools or custom scripts. Their built-in EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) further strengthens our security posture, giving us greater visibility into threats and enabling faster response to potential risks across our Apple fleet.

Support and documentation from Kandji are both top-notch. Their team is responsive and helpful, but honestly, the platform is so well-designed and well-documented that we rarely need to reach out. It’s clear that the Kandji team listens to feedback and continuously rolls out meaningful updates—it’s not just evolving for the sake of it, but genuinely improving with each release.

For us, Kandji has become more than just an MDM—it’s a foundational part of how we deliver IT and is used frequently due to its many device management features. The simplistic and easy to implement design means we were up and running within a day! Kandji saves us time, reduces friction, and allows us to deliver a high standard of support with a lean team. If you’re a small IT team in a growing business that runs on Apple, Kandji is a no-brainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve been using Kandji for a few months now, and overall, it’s a strong platform for managing our Apple devices. The system is clean, efficient, and the interface is generally user-friendly, which makes it easy to stay on top of device management. That said, there are still a few areas where I think it could be improved.

The Blueprint feature, while useful for standardising configurations, can be a bit limiting. If I want to tweak settings for just one device, I often have to create an entirely new Blueprint, which adds more admin time than I’d like. I’d really appreciate more flexibility when it comes to making one-off adjustments without needing to duplicate entire configurations.

One of the bigger limitations I’ve noticed is that Kandji is built specifically for Apple devices. While that’s great for teams that are all-in on macOS and iOS, it becomes a bit of a blocker if you’re working in a mixed device environment. It would be a huge improvement to see support for cross-platform management — having Windows and Android support would open it up to a much wider range of use cases and make it a more comprehensive MDM solution.

Another feature I’d love to see is a mobile app. Being able to manage or monitor devices on the go — without needing to be tied to a desktop — would be a game changer for busy IT teams, especially when incidents pop up out of hours or while travelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems it solves for me is device visibility and asset management. I now have a real-time view of every Apple device in our fleet — I can see who has what, where it is, what OS version it’s on, and whether it’s compliant with our policies. That level of insight means I’m no longer chasing spreadsheets or piecing together reports when someone asks for an audit or a status update.

It’s also been a game changer for security and compliance. Kandji’s automated compliance enforcement ensure devices stay aligned with our security standards. If anything falls out of spec — like encryption getting disabled or a required app being removed — it self-corrects automatically. That’s made it a lot easier to meet internal and external compliance requirements without needing constant manual oversight.

From a device management and EDR perspective, having an integrated toolset that covers everything from configuration to monitoring and response in one place is massively beneficial. We’re able to enforce policies, deploy apps, and respond to issues quickly, all while ensuring that our endpoints remain secure. It’s reduced the need for multiple tools and simplified our operational workflows.

Zero-touch deployment has been especially useful for remote onboarding. New hires receive their Mac, sign in, and everything they need — apps, settings, restrictions — gets deployed automatically. I don’t have to manually provision anything, which not only saves time but also gives new starters a polished, professional experience from day one.

Kandji makes Apple device management way easier

  • April 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s really easy to use, even if you're not super technical. Setting up and managing devices is quick and pretty much hassle-free. What stands out most is the support—they respond fast and actually help solve problems, which isn’t always the case with other platforms. It saves us a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about, honestly. Some of the more advanced features take a bit of figuring out at first, and the docs could be a bit more detailed. But once you get the hang of it (or just ask support), it’s smooth sailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Kandji, managing our Apple devices felt like a juggling act—lots of manual setup, chasing down updates, and making sure everything was secure. Now, it’s pretty much all automated. Devices are set up the way we want right out of the box, updates and policies get pushed without any drama, and we don’t have to worry about things slipping through the cracks. It saves us a bunch of time and makes life way easier for our IT team.

Seamless Mac MDM Solution

  • April 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zero‑touch setup really works: new Macs power on, get the right profiles and apps, and we’re done.

Ongoing compliance checks keep devices in line and flag issues before users notice.

Support is quick and clear
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji is an excellent tool we’re happy to recommend, but it would be even better with broader integrations - ideally a generic webhook for event‑based automation, and an option to schedule data exports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Manual Mac setup & provisioning
2) Keeping devices patched and secure
3) Policy drift & visibility gaps
4) SOC 2 evidences gathering

User friendly with robust features, plus support is very good too!

  • April 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use: 9/10 - Features are easy to navigate into with no-frills user interface.
Customer support: 10/10 - Kandji support is very accessible to talk to: on chat, email, on the phone and even on Slack. Resolutions are always on point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would've been better if Kandji can manage Windows devices too, so we'll have just one MDM solution in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile Device Management

Excellent and simple way to manage our fleet of Apple devices

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Allows simple management of all all Apple products we use. Our main Kandji admin was out, and I had to apply a policy to one system in another state. I was able to figure out how to make it work in a pretty reasonable amount of time. Very good at aligning devices with corporate policy, security updates, pushing out applications, and the like.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management screen has a quirk that slows me down. When I am searching the site, the back button resets search criteria. Like if I'm looking for 'screensaver' and 6 come up in my search, I click on one to see how it is setup, and the browser back button resets the search. Not the biggest problem in the universe, but when looking through 4 similar Blueprints or such, I have to keep entering my search criteria. A filter would be nice where I can enter my criteria, then look at everything that comes up, then turn off to return to a list of everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for patch management, OS version management, cyberliability security alignment, reporting, and also to proactively replace older equipment. We need the devices secure, and make sure we aren't running any no longer supported OS's on any of our devices. Gives a lot of information at a glance and a means to fix problems discovered.

Easy to use, great support!

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What's is most helpful is the communications and support we have with our rep, Crystal. The management tool is easy to use and knowing our devices and data are safe reduce sleepless nights!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints! It's easy to increase licenses as we grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our devices are in the field, never used at any one location. Sometimes they're lost, stolen or damaged on work site and Kandji makes it easy to manage the devices from anywhere.

Kandji has been a great tool for managing our devices for our customers.

  • April 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use in creating complex blueprints and setups with Kandji. The interface gives you so many tools to customize and granularly set almost every aspect of a device.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be areas to improve in the UX, but it is still quite easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is helping keep our devices safe when we deploy these devices to our customers who are merchants. They use devices for storefront use and the ability keep features hidden that could break that functionality is key.

Apple MDM scalable and simple

  • April 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has been an amazing partner in moving our MDM from a managed service providor to in house MDM management. They templates and blueprint based configuration not old helped inforce some base line configurations but also helped us easily improve our Security landscape with out of the box CIS level 2 controls for Mac.

The OS and application update has also made it simple to ensure that we are always up to date and safe allowing management of our devices in a fully remote environment is easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Kandji. The only thing I would like to see added is improved Windows MDM function as right now it is just a UI for Microsoft InTune.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji really solved 2 big problems for us.

1. Enforcing endpoint security with CIS Level controls in a way that is scalable. The fact that I do not need to know MacOS inside and out to be able to roll through system configurations to achieve the ever changing CIS landscape has been a game changer in managing security vulnerabilities.

2. The UI drived nature of Kandji makes it easy to read, configure, and deploy for all IT personal no matter their familiarity with MacOS

What do you dislike about the product?
Assignment maps and Blueprints can be confusing at first but once you learn how to use the platform it becomes very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji makes it easy for me to meet compliance requirements and make IT onboarding easier for employees.
