We have quickly adopted Kandji and we rely on them for our device management!
What do you like best about the product?
Omce installed and running, it requires almost no maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first the device setup can definitely seem overwhelming and difficult, and requires extra time. In the beginning it was alo somewhat fruystrating to encounter new kinks with various software that couldn't properly function after Kandji was installed. Once we have worked it all out however, it seems like smooth sailimng (fingers crossed!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centrailzed software and OS updates, and having contriol that doesn't allow end users to make modifications tio their workstations.

One of the worst companies in Enterprise SaaS
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is easy to setup and deploy initially with good integrations to other tools like ABM and Okta.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji is the first vendor I have ever seen (out of hundreds of renewal conversations) to threaten litigation during a renewal conversation. Their approach to the customer feels deeply adversarial and hostile in all situations - from support through to renewal.
The product routinely has show stopping bugs that close to nullify its value - such as OS upgrades not being enforced on Apple Silicon devices (as of 26th September 2024).

Kandji is responsible for enforcing our device security across our MacOS device fleet.
Excellent MDM for Apple Devices - Efficient, Secure, and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Kandji as our MDM solution for all our Apple devices, and it's been a fantastic experience. Managing security and application deployment across all our MacBooks has become streamlined and efficient. Kandji has made life easier for both end-users and our central management team, particularly in maintaining compliance.
The 'blueprints' feature allowed us to group and configure our devices in a single day, and we had everything fully set up within a week. The integration with our compliance platform, Vanta, has been especially valuable, saving us a lot of time and effort in meeting security and compliance requirements.
On top of that, Kandji offers great tutorials that made the setup process straightforward, and their customer support has been excellent whenever we've needed assistance.
Overall, Kandji is an outstanding tool for Apple device management, and I highly recommend it!

What do you dislike about the product?
If there is even one non-Apple device in your organisationthen you need to use another MDM and that can make things more complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is solving a number of challenges we faced with managing our fleet of Apple devices. Firstly, it has greatly simplified device security management by allowing us to enforce consistent policies and compliance across all MacBooks in our organisation. This centralised control has reduced manual oversight and the risk of non-compliance with industry standards.
Additionally, Kandji streamlines software deployment and updates, ensuring that all users have the right applications and are running the latest versions without any hassle. This saves both IT and end-users a lot of time, minimises downtime, and improves overall productivity.
The integration with our compliance tool, Vanta, has also been a major benefit, making audits smoother and helping us maintain strict security standards. Overall, Kandji has provided us with improved security, compliance, and efficiency, which is crucial for our operations.

Brilliant product vs market, very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
We first used another product in the space which was far more involved. Kandji has a much slicker UX, everything just feels more wired together and with Self Service and the related functionality its easy to give end users a way to self serve and take the load of of tech.
Additionally their tech support is extrodinarily responsive and helpful.

Nothing really. We wanted to use their malware protection but it was a bit too pricey for us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the problem of managing and securing multiple Apple devices
Kandji is by far the most user friendly, feature rich, and price conscious Apple MDM on the market
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things I love about Kandji but if I had to choose, Kandji's user friendly feature set would top the list. From the different options to manage a BYOD to fully managed device, the flexibility is so great and even a non-technical person can implement. A very close second is the people behind the product. My Customer Success Manager is the best and the support has been phenominal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is I wished Kandji created a product to manage Windows & Android devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
(1) Securing our company data and (2) Managing a growing company that didn't have any policies in place. Kandji solved both problems with preset policies that we actually used to write our own internal mobile policies.
Kandji makes Enterprise Device management a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Working with Kandji has been a wonderful experience, and makes device management a breeze for users and admins alike. Migrating to Kandji from Jamf was also a seamless transition with the help of their support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji's EDR service works as advertised, but may not compare to other Enterprise solutions like Jamf Protect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile device management, Audit compliance, EDR
Easy to use and great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Their customer support is one of the best I've ever encountered. Very knowledgeable and they are always quick to find a solution. It's also very easy to use especially for someone like me who is very novice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI isn't the most intuitive and can be hard to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm very novice when it comes to Mac managment, Kandji allows me to be a Mac admin with very little experience.
Easy Mac MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Overall I like that Kandji integrates well with Apple Business Manager and Identity Providers to make it a seamless process to onboard users into a managed Mac OS experience. It was easy to implement the solution even with existing devices that weren't in ABM.
The Auto Apps are very helpful to keep common applications up-to-date.
Support is very eager to assist with chat, and they have a chatbot that helps find documentation quickly.
All functionality is in a single portal, and configuring devices is really simple with blueprint.
The reporting features are really handy ways to get into the portal frequently to see what apps are installed. I check on devices very often. Aerts are easy to track.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the Kandji agent does not support MFA with FIDO2 hardware keys for logins, so it requires additional purchases from Identity Provider to add this capability.
There does not yet exist a local admin password randomization feature to make it so each device has a unique local password.
There does not yet exist a local admin password randomization feature to make it so each device has a unique local password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji makes deploying software easy, and it keeps device configuration in line with known benchmarks and standards.
A simple yet powerful tool.
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Kandji for over two years for the administration of our employees' MacOS devices. Since our employees work remotely, sometimes from home, we as IT never see the devices. Thanks to Kandji, we can provide new employees with new, fully configured MacBooks directly from Apple without ever having to handle the devices ourselves.
The software on the devices is always up to date and we are able to provide our employees with a selected pool of software via self-service.
Kandji also provides us with significant added value in terms of security. Certain settings such as FileVault can be centrally enforced by us and we have a good overview (with warnings) of options set by employees.
The integration with Apple is seamless and the Kandji interface is simple and clear. Nevertheless, many functions are available with a high degree of detail. You can easily add your own applications.
Kandji is an enrichment for our company in many ways.

I can't think of anything negative. Our needs are fully covered.

Easier administration of end devices, overview and control of software versions, overview and monitoring of settings from a security perspective.
