A nice and robust tool for quick and easy secure deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Once I saw that Kandji included CIS controls I was motivated to give it a try! The interface is easy to use and from an end-user perspective, the UX is beautiful.
The level of options is stunning and we can control many areas to configure automatically the end-points. I also really appreciate that SSO is being supported because this allows us to get the local account properly created per our standards.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like Kandji to have an embedded tool or script to ease the additions of assets into ABM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure the end-points with CIS controls, remove old Apps and deploy Corporate Tools. We're deploying Sentinel One on our end-points and we're glad the rollout was easy because we needed to finish this task in Q1. Also, we wanted to make sure the local user account was created properly and following our naming convention based on the single sign on input.
A shining star in the Mac Mobile Device Management world.
What do you like best about the product?
* An enterprise user interface that's simple to use that allows you to quickly deploy your MDM within hours.
* An enterprise unriveled enterprise support will feel like you're talking to a peer, and not some person on managing helpdesk.
* Intuitive Blueprints and Library items that makes device management as efficient as possible.
* Kandji passport gives us an accurate snapshot of who the device is assigned to, and it improves the employee login experience dramatically.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of scoping of devices based on user attributes, that is however, a very low priority feature, and we can work around it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have gained accurate visibility into our fixed assets, which means we know who owns which device, the device health, and finally we can define and enforce a consistent configuration plan to ensure security.
Makes managing Apple devices in a Windows environment easy
What do you like best about the product?
no need to onboard a user in person. when linked with ABM, just ship directly from vendor to user.
What do you dislike about the product?
navigating the management portal. Not being to click "back" on browser. and once you navigate to far, have to go back to beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it really makes integrating Macs into a Windows environment easy. the sync with our AD to keep passwords synced is the best feature so far.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great platform, excellent response from support. Account rep is always checking in and making sure we're progressing with use
Excellent and modern MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Love the onboarding experience for staff
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to directly upload custom apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shipping devices directly from apple and allowing our employees to enroll the device through Okta.
Just what I needed
What do you like best about the product?
It just works and doesn't requires you to code anything. The support is great and they actually listen to feedback and implement it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be some extra QoL improvements but they seems tobe coming little by little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm managing all of my company's computers, can push all the apps I want and not even think about any update being performed as Kandji is great at pushing them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get it. It will spare you a world of headache compared to Jamf or Addigy.
Kandji has an interface that makes complicated matters easier to understand and implement.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Kandji is the ability it gives us to control devices and enforce security policies in a simple manner compared to other MDM platforms while still being effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes alerts pop up on devices that are hard to understand or find documentation on. I would like to be able to quickly interpret an issue that comes on a device without reaching out to the engineers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Kandji I have been able to solve issues with users keeping their devices after they leave the company, I have been able to implement security policies on devices that meet Cyber Security compliance standards, and I have been able to deploy apps when users ask without having to build them an actual Apple account. I have realized that Kandji provides a way to manage all of our Mac devices from one central admin portal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend it as an easy way to manage Mac devices.
A user friendly platform that meets all our necessities!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji's base hits all of the pain points for us as a customer and more, including fast-responding support staff and a user-friendly interface. Our department moved from on-prem JAMF to Kandji because of the need to train employees on how to use the system. With Kandji, they provide a great UX, a robust collection of support articles tailored to each of the functions you can do with the MDM, and a responsive chatbox support team to answer any questions or concerns. The other great thing that Kandji does is Auto-Apps, they maintain the apps so you don't have to make custom apps for a number of available apps and if they don't have the app already, you can submit them as a feature request to get added.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Kandji, I think that some features that we have issues with will get flushed out over time or are limited by what Apple can offer so it is a universal issue. The only thing that I can really complain about is that they don't really support WPA2 Enterprise for their wifi library item or in Passport.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji solves our Apple Device management problems as well as simplifies an interface for our constant flow of student workers. The general benefits are that of any other MDM but I think that the care that they give to their customers is above all I've experienced.

MacOS MDM Modernization with Kandji
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has made it much easier to control our business MacOS devices and to ensure we are meeting our compliance requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very much, if we could remove Blueprints and undo any changes they made to a MacBook that would be an improvement. But this is probably not Kandji's fault, sounds like this is just how Apple handles MDM integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to meet compliance requirements in our space, and this enabled us to ensure that we are without spending more time and money than necessary. Kandji definitely helped us meet that goal, and has continued to be a great help through iterations of compliance requirements.
A complete MDM solution for our Apple fleet that really packs a punch!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji really delivers on customer experience, from an excellent UX to great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say that there is anything missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides complete visibility into the health of our remote fleet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your device procurement and offboarding SOPs are tight to keep your Kandji device directory up to date.
Kandji is hands down the best MDM on the market for your Apple devices!
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation of Kandji was super easy and the team was great to work with and very responsive, Kandji makes securing our devices and managing our Macbook fleet a breeze and I couldn't be happier that a choose Kandji over their competitors. We had a few questions after we were fully onboarded and the support team was very responsive, super friendly and knew the product from the inside out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. We have been very happy with Kandji, they check all the boxes of a proper MDM and their customer support is second to none. I have worked with another apple MDM and the only thing I dislike is I didn't discover Kandjo sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manging our global Fleet of Apple devices has never been easier. Securing our devices for our upcoming security was painless! We are a hyper-growth company so I was very happy we could get the team up to speed and able to manage our fleet within hours of being onboarded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JUST DO IT! We were looking at other MDM but were so glad we choose Kandji. The team was great from the very start and guided us through the implementation and were very happy to answer all of our questions. If you are looking for an MDM Kandji is 100% better than the big-name competitors.
