What do you dislike about the product?
- The Alert system could use some improvement. Give more freedom to Admins to clear alerts, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apps deployment to hundreds of devices at the touch of a single button. Saved our IT team time and resources.
Unification of our restrictions and security protocol across devices.
Unification of our restrictions and security protocol across devices.
Very good experience
What do you like best about the product?
The tool fits our organization well. Once we got used to the Apple Device Manager Integration and how blueprints worked, we quickly made good progress through our list of requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support was an issue at first, which slowed us down- mainly as we are in the UK. However, they have since increased their support model to cover more hours. It's a shame Kandji didn't quite align with our SSO requirements. However, there are good things on the roadmap we are looking forward to seeing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We looked for Zero-touch deployment and remote management of our Mac devices. Although we have not quite realized some of the value-added features, such as lift-off, we are happy with the functions we currently have in place.
Straight-forward as all MDM's should be!
What do you like best about the product?
The thoughtfulness of the workflows supported on the admin side is very impressive. I can tell that Kandji understands how an MDM administrator thinks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't as many advanced use case features (like inventory search in the UI) available yet, but Kandji is putting out features faster than I ever imagined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allows us to meet our security and privacy needs on the device endpoints.
Full featured MDM without the complexity
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive to set up and use. Full-featured, no compromises. Includes best practice blueprints you can adapt and deploy for a high-quality and secure fleet in minutes. User enrollment is intuitive and a delight for end-users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji's pricing tiers can work for or against you; unlike other solutions, which are a pay-per-device model, Kandji uses buckets, making deployments of less than 50 devices very expensive compared to the competition. However, other solutions like JAMF Pro take days to fully learn and configure, making Kandji a better value even though it costs slightly more. As you get closer to the full size of the bucket the pricing becomes very competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mac fleet management for security, SOC2 compliance, and employee onboarding. The onboarding is straightforward and quick for my employees. Adding new customizations and refining parameters is very intuative and easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Kandji is an incredible product that blows all the competitors, including JAMF Pro, out of the water. Fast, easy, and complete solution that an experienced Mac admin could setup and deploy in less than a day. They have an excellent sales team that is helpful and not pushy and a support team that is helpful and responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
- I could not make exemptions to a Library or Blueprint.
- Wish there were more auto-apps.
- Pricing should be more granular.
- There should be phone support.
- Chat support is sometimes delayed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've been a Jamf customer for over a decade, took several training classes and certifications so I am heavily invested with Jamf.
However, their customer services, pricing scheme, patching feature and overall quality has declined over the years.
We were looking for another alternative, looked at Fleetsmith, among others - Kandji has made MDM very easy.
No need for expensive support plan, trainings, etc - practically anyone can run and administer Kandji. You will save tons of time managing and patching your computers.

KISS MDM solution with intuitive UI and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is straightforward and easy to use. The barrier to entry is very low because of Kandji's intuitive UI and organization. You can configure your setup and come back in months and pick it back without relearning a specific UI and system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still maturing. Kandji are still growing, some of their newer features are still light on options. Not all configuration options have been ported to their new library/blueprint system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose Kandji for their security MDM solution to efficiently manage a fleet of Apple Macbooks. We were able to quickly and significantly increase our security posture with minimal resources.
Kandji Has Been a Great Addition to Our Mac OS Management Toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
The custom portal that allows approval of applications our users can install without an administrator having to connect every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything we've been dissatisfied with so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Mac OS has always been a somewhat tedious, manual task. Kandji gives us manageability that's similar to our PC's on a Windows domain.
New Kandji Customer
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is simple to set up and use, but one of the best parts of Kandji is the support team. They're always so responsive and helpful with any issues, questions, or concerns that come up when we're using the product or deciding on best practices with setting up an MDM. We're a small team and decided to get an MDM set up before we got too large in order to ensure there were no problems migrating users to a proper MDM solution in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint that I have about Kandji is that the UI isn't super polished. It's definitely good but would love to see the visual design get a lift over the next year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to handle provisioning software, accounts, profiles, and security preferences remotely at scale for all corporate devices. Kandji has been perfect for this.
