KISS MDM solution with intuitive UI and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is straightforward and easy to use. The barrier to entry is very low because of Kandji's intuitive UI and organization. You can configure your setup and come back in months and pick it back without relearning a specific UI and system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is still maturing. Kandji are still growing, some of their newer features are still light on options. Not all configuration options have been ported to their new library/blueprint system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose Kandji for their security MDM solution to efficiently manage a fleet of Apple Macbooks. We were able to quickly and significantly increase our security posture with minimal resources.

Kandji Has Been a Great Addition to Our Mac OS Management Toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
The custom portal that allows approval of applications our users can install without an administrator having to connect every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything we've been dissatisfied with so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Mac OS has always been a somewhat tedious, manual task. Kandji gives us manageability that's similar to our PC's on a Windows domain.

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is simple to set up and use, but one of the best parts of Kandji is the support team. They're always so responsive and helpful with any issues, questions, or concerns that come up when we're using the product or deciding on best practices with setting up an MDM. We're a small team and decided to get an MDM set up before we got too large in order to ensure there were no problems migrating users to a proper MDM solution in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint that I have about Kandji is that the UI isn't super polished. It's definitely good but would love to see the visual design get a lift over the next year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to handle provisioning software, accounts, profiles, and security preferences remotely at scale for all corporate devices. Kandji has been perfect for this.
Excellent Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji brings a simplicity to device management which in unparalleled. While simplistic, Kandji offers all the knobs to turn for those requiring advanced configuration capabilities. Finally, Kandjis integration with external SSO providers and improvements in the Mac setup (LiftOff) put it above competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few items missing, but given Kandjis constant innovation and responsive customer success team I know they will be implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small startup, Kandji has aided us in rapidly addressing our security requirements for endpoints. Integrations with external providers like Crowdstrike and SSO providers allow us to scale rapidly.

UX and UI are simple and nice. Everything is well placed and easy to start with. We have deployed 120 devices in one week

What do you like best about the product?
Simplified Mac deployments that are paired with Apple Business Manager. The ability to continuously enforce CIS and NIST security controls is extrememly helpful.
My personal favorite feature is Kandji Self Service– which creates an "app store" for our users that allows them to download needed software on demand without admin credentials.

What do you dislike about the product?
Creating and editing blueprints can be confusing at times. Currently, device compliance alerts are only available via slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji has allowed us to shave hours off of our deployment times. We also had to find a way to enforce security settings on user machines for IT compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a way to control, deploy and manage Apple devices in your organization, Kandji is your answer.
Kandji for Business
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and support. It's much easier to use than other competing MDM solutions and, if you dont know something, there is generally someone on the other side to help. The support has been fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
macOS is complex - sometimes adding a feature in Kandji means that you break things. Some sort of warning would be nice if you were making changes that could cause conflicts. This is not something I dislike, this is more of a feature request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage 400 end-user machines at all different security levels. We are solving the varying end-user needs with Kandji - while still keeping our machines bound to an MDM solution and secure.

Simple Apple MDM with great after sales support
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that support is just a chat away and that the whole process from looking for an MDM to rolling it out didn't feel rushed or feeling like we were being forced into a deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using Kandji for about two months now, and I can't say we dislike anything. Although a nice feature would be supporting during Australian business hours, however, it isn't that bad. We usually have until about 11 am AEST to chat to the team before they go offline. Once they go offline, we leave a message, and they generally respond in about 12hours time when we're going to bed, which is excellent because we have an answer already for the following day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to have all staff running the same macOS and App versions is excellent! This saves a lot of time of not having to update people one by one manually.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it, make the switch. We switched from JAMF, which was becoming very expensive and very bloated with features that were not needed.

What do you like best about the product?
Nothing has come close to Kandji's feature set and ease of use in my years of researching, implementing, and administering mobile device management systems on behalf of my customers as a managed service provider.
Kandji is extremely responsive to feedback, and maintains an extremely strong community presence. Something that is a complete breath of fresh air compared to other solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only gripes with Kandji are those that are absolutely outside their control and wholly attributable to Apple. Every MDM solution that wants to support Apple devices is currently caught between a rock and a hard place. Apple still needs to improve on the MDM framework that these platforms rely on to deliver, and I've discovered that MDM solutions are doing their best to get past it.
With that stated, Kandji has done an outstanding job collaborating with customers and admins to assist us get through this difficult period in being an Apple admin, consistently providing guidance and remedies.

My company has been able to implement and effectively maintain technical controls linked to our SOC II compliance goals, as well as assist our clients in improving their security posture and transform the device management experience for our users, thanks to Kandji.

Kandji has made our device setup and security painless
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can setup profiles and get as granular as you want to help improve security. Also the fact that you can setup custom scripts which make this very powerful. Especially for some apps that require some extra steps to setup after installation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find relevant resources to help setup scripts and also it's tricky to understand some profile differences and limitations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we're solving are setting minimum security standards that our employees must implement, being able to lock and wipe a stolen device remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Kandji because the staff is very helpful and the product makes it very easy to manage devices at a high level
