What do you like best about the product?
Things I like best about Kandji are:
- The UI is super easy and friendly to use—everything feels intuitive.
- Our Account Rep team is awesome to work with—shout-out to Makenzie!
- Kandji keeps rolling out new features all the time. Assignment Maps has been an amazing addition—we’d been waiting on that one for a while.
- Things are really easy to build out of the box, whether it’s Self Service or new profiles.
- They’re always quick to support the latest macOS versions with profile support (like the new Apple Intelligence stuff), which is huge.
- I love the Auto Apps—just wish there was an easier way to create custom ones.
- Liftoff is super slick for setting up new laptops—makes onboarding a breeze.
- Managed OS has been great for staying on top of updates and keeping things consistent across devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike, more of a wishlist... It would be great if it could incorporate windows devices, as our fleet is split and we would like to have everything in one easy to use platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji's Auto App Library is taking a large amount of work off our plates by managing those updates for us so we can focus on more important things.
Kandji simplifies Apple device management with precision and power
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji’s seamless integration with Apple devices is outstanding. The user interface is clean and intuitive, which makes policy deployment and compliance monitoring incredibly efficient. Its pre-built automation and remediation scripts save a great deal of time for IT teams, and the support team is highly responsive. The platform also integrates well with identity providers like Okta, which enhances security workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Kandji offers robust Apple device management, finding detailed USB activity logs can be difficult. For security-focused environments, easier access to such logs would improve incident response and monitoring. Adding a more intuitive way to track USB usage would be a valuable enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji helps us maintain control over all Apple devices in our organization with ease. It eliminates manual configuration by automating device onboarding, enforcing security policies, and enabling remote support. This ensures compliance with ISO 27001 standards while saving IT time and reducing user downtime. Kandji’s remediation and automation tools significantly boost operational efficiency and endpoint security.
Kandji listens to feedback from their clients
What do you like best about the product?
The Library of pre-configured system settings and applications is very useful. Especially when it comes to a small team where packaging or scripting settings and installations can take long periods of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
An improvement I would suggest is trying to add management capabilities on iPads that are not enrolled via Apple Business Manager. Even if that ability is to restart the device, it would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Deployment of known applications on users' endpoints.
- System Settings alignment with known security baselines.
- Zero touch endpoint deployment.
- Applications and OS patch management.

Manage your fleet without the operational burden
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji makes it easy for IT teams to deploy a feature rich MDM tool to all of your Apple devices. It covers any technical or compliance needs for MDM. I chose Kandji because other competitors, like JAMF, required a lot more time up front to implement it and too much resourcing to maintain it. MDM should be simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
initially, Blueprints were inflexible in terms of where you could apply them. However, they released assignments maps about a year or so ago which helps us in nuanced use cases.
Pricing is always a concern, but they have demonstrated that they'd work with us on that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji helps us meet our compliance requirements, but also helps us set a high security standard across our fleet of Apple devices. In addition to security hardening, there are ease of use features like self service and auto-apps that keep our employees humming.
A Perfect MDM for your Apple Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I like Kandji as an MDM solution because it's modern, user-friendly, and highly automated features. It offers a clean interface, strong security features, and powerful device management tools that are easy to set up and maintain. Kandji’s automation with Blueprints and its large library of pre-built device controls save a lot of time and reduce manual work. It’s also very responsive to new Apple updates, making it a great choice for organizations that want seamless, up-to-date management of their Apple devices. Kandji's online support is one of the best support that is currently out there. Their support is accurate and helps resolve your issue almost instantly and if they are unable to, their higher level engineers will assist you.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I don't have any particular dislikes about Kandji. The platform has been reliable, intuitive, and effective for my needs. It provides a smooth user experience, from initial setup to daily management, without unnecessary complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji has dramatically improved our laptop deployment process, reducing configuration time from about three hours to just five minutes. Previously, setting up a laptop involved multiple manual steps, from installing applications to configuring system settings and security policies. With Kandji, all of this is automated through Blueprints and device enrollment workflows.
Reformatting a laptop has also become incredibly straightforward — once a device is wiped, it can automatically reinstall all necessary profiles, apps, and settings without IT having to intervene manually. Additionally, pushing updates, whether for macOS or specific applications, is seamless. Updates can be scheduled or enforced remotely, ensuring that all devices stay current and secure with minimal disruption to users or IT staff. Overall, Kandji has significantly improved efficiency, consistency, and user experience across our device management processes.

Kandji makes it really easy to manage iPhones without needing to be an Apple expert. The setup was quick, and I love how everything just works out of the box. Before, setting up new Macs or pushing security policies took forever—now it's all automated. It’s saved our IT team a lot of time and headaches, especially when onboarding remote users or rolling out updates across the company. It also gives us peace of mind knowing our devices are locked down and in line with company standards.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Kandji is its seamless automation and zero-touch deployment for Apple devices. The interface is intuitive, Auto-Apps simplify app updates, and security features are robust. Plus, their customer support is top-notch—quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. It’s a powerful all-in-one solution for Mac fleet management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Kandji is a strong Apple MDM solution, a few things could be improved. The pricing is also on the higher side for smaller teams.

Kandji is solving the challenge of managing and securing a growing fleet of Apple devices across our organization. It simplifies onboarding with zero-touch deployment, ensures compliance with automated updates and security controls, and centralizes app management. This saves us hours of manual work, reduces risks, and improves employee productivity.
Essential MDM Platform – Innovative & Powerful Features
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji MDM has been absolutely essential for managing our fleet of macOS devices. From a Mac Admin perspective, the pre-configured library items for device policies and the off-the-shelf Auto Apps are standout features — allowing us to install and update applications at scale effortlessly across the organisation.
Compared to other MDM tools, Kandji truly differentiates itself through continuous improvements, fast feature releases, and industry-leading innovation. Integrations like Single Sign-On with Okta, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), and their new Threat Protection module have transformed how we manage security across our devices.
Their support team is excellent — quick to respond with deep technical knowledge — although, in most cases, their intuitive, user-friendly UI means support is rarely needed. The documentation and articles are consistently updated and reliable, making adoption and ongoing management incredibly smooth.
During the enrolment phrase, we migrated within a few days and could easily onboard devices through a URL making it very easy for non technical users to enrol.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. We moved away from a competitor to Kandji and have not looked back. It’s a product that’s genuinely hard to fault, and I’ve seen even the most seasoned IT and Security professionals impressed by how easy and powerful it is to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed Kandji to ensure full compliance with our security policies across the organisation, particularly to achieve certifications like Cyber Essentials Plus. Kandji automates the deployment and updating of critical tooling without manual input, and enforces a wide range of technical controls — including local macOS settings, device restrictions, and seamless integration with our Identity Provider (IDP) for Single Sign-On.
I also really appreciate Kandji’s built-in alerting and monitoring of policies, which dramatically reduces the time needed to maintain and manage our devices. Ultimately, it enables users to work with a frictionless experience while keeping our systems and data protected at the same time.
