Browser-Level Detection That Catches Personal Accounts Your IdP Misses

    Reviewed on Jul 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It catches what your IdP can’t: personal accounts. We’d done everything right on paper—Corporate Copilot rolled out, the approved AI list published, and SSO enabled on everything we sanctioned. But none of that catches an employee signing into ChatGPT with a personal Gmail account on a work laptop. CloudEagle’s browser-level detection does. It flags the authenticated visit, makes it clear it’s a non-corporate account, and shows us who’s doing it and how often.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a moment to find my way around some of the labels at first. What I’d consider shadow app findings are listed under “external data,” and a couple of the menu names weren’t what I would have expected. Once you know where everything is, it’s really a non-issue, and to be fair, their support team walked me through it on the first call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anything an employee enters into a personal ChatGPT account ends up in a tenant we don’t control, and when that person leaves, we can’t retrieve it. We’re pharma-adjacent, so that risk isn’t acceptable for us. Now, if someone tries to sign in with a personal account, they’re prompted to use our corporate tenant instead. Usage didn’t drop; it simply shifted to an environment we can govern. That was the goal all along—we never wanted to ban the tools, just manage them properly.

OAuth Visibility That Helped Us Quickly Revoke Hidden Access

    Reviewed on Jul 02, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The OAuth app visibility alone justified the cost for us. We discovered service accounts and API tokens tied to apps that had already been offboarded from our stack but were never properly disconnected, and some of those tokens had overly broad permissions. CloudEagle provided a complete view of what was connected, who had authorized each connection, and which scopes were granted. Within the first week, we were able to revoke a bunch of access we didn’t even know existed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see more automated remediation options for risky OAuth connections. Right now, the product surfaces the risk clearly, but actually revoking access still requires a manual step. For a team our size, that’s manageable, but I can see it becoming a bottleneck at larger scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At a startup, you accumulate integrations quickly and rarely have time to clean them up. We had tokens left behind by former contractors, unused Zapier connections, and a few third-party AI tools that employees had authorized without going through IT. CloudEagle brought all of it into one place, so we could see what was out there and prioritize what to clean up based on risk level.

CloudEagle’s Security Scoring Transforms Vendor and Renewal Conversations

    Reviewed on Jun 17, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The security scoring on individual apps has changed how we approach vendor conversations. We’d always had a general sense that some tools in our stack carried higher risk, but we didn’t have anything concrete to point to. CloudEagle pulls in security posture data and surfaces details like whether an app has SOC 2, whether data is encrypted at rest, and what permissions users are granting. With that added context, renewals become a completely different kind of conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the vendor questionnaire data were updated a bit more frequently. Some vendor security profiles feel like they’re still pulling from older assessments rather than reflecting the most recent information. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate in a healthcare-adjacent space, so a vendor’s security posture isn’t optional for us. Before CloudEagle, we handled this through a mix of manual spreadsheets and periodic security reviews, which left gaps between check-ins. Now we have a continuous baseline, and if a vendor’s posture changes, we hear about it right away.

Eye-Opening Shadow AI Visibility Through SSO and Browser Activity

    Reviewed on Jun 16, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Shadow AI detection was the main reason we started evaluating this. Before CloudEagle, we had very little visibility into which AI tools people were actually using, but it surfaced them through our SSO and browser activity. Some of what we uncovered was genuinely surprising: tools with data-sharing policies we never would have approved were already embedded in day-to-day workflows across three departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial categorization between AI and productivity tools needed some cleanup on our end. Not everything was auto-tagged the way we expected, so it took a couple of weeks to tune the labels and get them working properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a live map of every AI app in use across the org. It shows who’s using each tool, how often they’re using it, and whether it’s gone through any approval process. For compliance purposes alone, this was worth the investment. Before, we had to piece all of this together manually from IT tickets and expense reports.

The documentation is a bit lacking in detail, especially when it comes to advanced configuration.

Single Dashboard That Finally Clarifies SaaS Usage and Costs

    Reviewed on Mar 01, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The single-dashboard feature shows every SaaS app we have, along with its usage and costs by department—exactly the things we previously struggled to track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup was challenging because it required coordination across different departments, such as IT, finance, and HR systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our biggest headache: tracking our SaaS apps. Now we can easily track every app from a single dashboard, which makes it much simpler to stay on top of everything.

CloudEagle Centralizes Renewals and Contracts with Smart AI Alerts

    Reviewed on Feb 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Before CloudEagle, we missed renewals the last time, and some subscriptions were auto-renewed at higher prices. CloudEagle uses AI to pull renewal data and contract details automatically, which keeps everything centralized and alerts us early.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to report—everything worked as expected, and all features functioned properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track all of our SaaS renewals and to get reminders before the contracts expire.
