How has it helped my organization?

Webex greatly improves our team's collaboration by being our main communication tool and meeting platform, helping us work effectively regardless of location.

What is most valuable?

The chat and meeting scheduling features in Webex are most valuable for our team's productivity. The video quality during remote meetings is quite good, enhancing our communication and collaboration.

What needs improvement?

There is room for improvement in the chat history and search functionality in Webex, making it easier to find past conversations and commands by keywords.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Webex for about three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I would rate the stability of Webex as a ten out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Around 1,000 users in our company use Webex. I find it easy to scale since we have been able to scale it smoothly as our usage increases.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I prefer Teams over Webex because it integrates better with the other tools we use. In terms of features and functionalities, they are similar, as far as I know.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate the Webex user interface and ease of use at around seven out of ten in terms of complexity.

Overall, I would rate Webex as an eight out of ten. It is a great product.

Good range to answer long distance calls from the comfort of my business phone, all calls are hosted in the Webex cloud, very useful to keep a good history. Security at all times as phone calls are encrypted, at all times I feel protected, the interface is very corporate, calls are of good quality and everything works very well within Webex.

Improves team collaboration within businesses and offers integration capabilities

  • February 12, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Webex in my company to optimize communication and meetings.

What needs improvement?

The product's user interface is an area with shortcomings, making it an area where improvements are required.

In the future, I would like to see Webex provide integration capabilities with Microsoft.

The quality of the services offered by the support team needs to be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Webex for two or three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Though I am not sure, I feel that the tool does not allow an increase in the number of users.

In our company, we use around 30 rooms in the product. Depending on the size of the room, somewhere between 10 to 30 people can attend a meeting in Webex.

How are customer service and support?

I have experience with the solution's technical support. I rate the technical support a seven out of ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

In comparison to Webex and Microsoft Teams, I feel that Zoom is better.

How was the initial setup?

The product's initial setup phase was complex.

The solution is deployed on the cloud. For mobile phones, my company uses the on-premises version of the product.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I rate the product price a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is high price, and ten is low price.

What other advice do I have?

The product improves team collaboration in our company since it integrates with Microsoft Teams or other vendors. The last time I studied Cisco CVI was to know about how to integrate it with Microsoft Teams.

Our company prefers Webex and Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings since both tools offer valuable functionalities. My company uses Microsoft Teams since we have licenses like Office 365 E1 or Microsoft 365 E3. Though my company installs Webex for Cisco Room Bar, our organization uses Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings.

The video and audio quality offered by the product is okay. The staff members in my company are comfortable using Microsoft Teams. Webex is a bit difficult to use for the staff members in my company.

I rate the tool an eight out of ten.
