Dicom Systems

De-identify and migrate the data you need, using the scalability and flexibility of AWS Snowball, Amazon S3, and Dicom Systems Unifier to build deep learning models. With DICOM transformation and data normalization from Dicom Systems, users can prepare their data and then securely migrate it to AWS using Snowball.

To deploy DICOM, Launch Unifier as a clinical application then migrate to AWS using Snowball.

The second Dicom Systems Unifier appliances serves to verify that the de-identification was complete. If a study fails, the second Unifier will flag the study and sends it back to the first Unifier for reprocessing. If the study is complete, it passes. Both Unifier appliances are not aware of each other to maintain independence.

To provide simplified and secure migration, Dicom Systems runs on AWS to deliver Snowball, a petabyte-scale data transport solution that transfers large amounts of data into and out of the AWS Cloud. This method provides improved security, speed and is a cost-effective choice. It is one-fifth the cost of transferring data via high-speed Internet. The Snowball devices are couriered by FedEx to AWS which uploads the imaging studies to your S3 bucket. Amazon will then completely wipe clean the Snowball device. AWS serves as the data lake to collaborate with research partners and outside entities on your AI/ML and innovation initiatives.
